HARVESTING URLs

Why? Several reasons. To put many, many URLs in one place, like on a web site of yours or to put on an e-mail to send to another of your users or a friend. Or move a bunch of URLs to a computer.

Here's how:

NOTE: You may want to take notes or print this out.

Using CUT, COPY & PASTE (CC&P), a very useful tool we have!
If you don't know how to , You MUST learn!

CMD & A "HIGHLIGHTS".

CMD & C "COPIES" WHAT IS HIGHLIGHTED.

CMD & X "CUTS" WHAT IS HIGHLIGHTED. Tho won't be used in this tute.

CMD & V "PASTES" WHAT IS COPIED.

ON TO THE "HARVESTING"

While surfing, we often find interesting web sites we would like to keep, send or forward, for what ever reason, so.......

While on a site, you would click your: GO TO, then: SHOW CURRENT.

To "HARVEST" that site, hold your: CMD & tap the A key.

Then: CMD & C, to copy it.

That was easy! Now we have to concentrate a bit.....

Go to the next site, repeat the: GO TO & SHOW CURRENT BUT, this time and the rest of the HARVESTING you will:

CLICK: SPACE BAR TWICE, CMD & V, CMD & A, THEN: CMD & C

REPEAT this last sequence till you have HARVESTED about 15 or 20 URLs.

The problem arises that doing this over and over, it gets VERY easy to get lost! When you skip the sequence moves as above, you'll lose all that you have gathered.

Then you will go to your page or e-mail and: CMD & V, to PASTE all the URLs.

That's it! It really becomes easier after a few times.......honest!
