The DC-3 Douglas Sleeper Transport was delivered to Eastern on June 31, 1941. Its registration number was NC33643 and was assigned as Eastern Fleet #378. Douglas only produced 23 of these aircraft. Eastern owned 7 of them. This aircraft seems to be the last DC-3 DST in existence. While with Eastern for 12 years this aircraft logged 30,000 hours. In 1953 this aircraft was sold to the Brooklyn Dodgers, registration #NIR. In 1963 the aircraft was again sold an passed through several different owners. In 1986, Frank's Aircraft Company purchased the aircraft. At this point the aircraft was stored at Cushing, Oklahoma. In1995 Matt and Skip purchased the aircraft and moved it to its current home at Ontario International Airport, California. The aircraft is still in good flying condition.
