Unique Butterfly Home

This "butterfly house" was designed as an attracive conversation piece AND as a winter shelter for Red Admirals, Questions Marks, Mourning Cloaks and Tortoiseshells that overwinter, as adults, in hollow logs, trees and woodpiles. Avoid butterfly homes made of cedar (why do you suppose that you keep your fine woolens & linens in a CEDAR Chest?? It is because cedar kills moths. What kind of moron do you suppose thought that one up??)
