:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 12-1-07 We have both cars parked by the barn for easier access to Monthey Road, provided that something motivates us to leave, such as running out of cream cheese for our tomahawked (scalpt) potatoes. :-) . Three of the next 4 days have more snow, so we are burrowing in for the winter. . Our 3 friends from Missouri left yesterday, so we are enjoying a very peaceful snowfall. . A lady, Helena, from Sweden, plans on arriving Monday on the 5 p.m. Amtrak in Portage, to be followed by Jeffrey, a Canute who is taking in the Bumpity Road Snowed In Scenario, on his way to Canada. . Dragan, a hunting buddy from Bosnia, (who got six deer here last year), called to check on possibly deer hunting here next weekend, Thursday to Sunday, so you can see that being snowbound doesn't mean that we're home alone! :-) . We are looking forward to more snow and the fact that it was snowing and sleeting today, in no way deterred us from planting 216 garlic cloves of some 7 different garlic varieties. . The frozen ground was extremely reluctant to accept the garlic, but then, so are a lot of people! . It truly was an adventure to get out there, and feel the nippy temperatures alllllllll over everything. Then, come back in and warm up, together! . This is the heaviest snowfall in years, maybe decades? and Bob is hoping that it gets so deep that he has to make a tunnel like a "snow mole" to the woodshed. :-) . A quiet day, of working inside, in the kitchen (a tray full of 6 acorn squash, sauteed veggies and brown rice, etc.), e-mails, phone calls, and watching the snow fall. . And candle light breakfasts, lunches, suppers, and snack times, (meals between meals). :-) . We watched the snow fall, which is a reminder of having a natural willingness for things to BE as fresh and clear, as they are. . KAThy and Bob shared about the blessings of all that is happening, in the miraculous moments of living from the guidance of the voice within. . Kathy got the rooms ready for visitors coming to JOY'n with us, at Bumpity Road. . We talked with Charles and Helena in Cincinnati, before Helena's trip to visit with us here, at Bumpity Road. . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, December 3, 2007 We got up to see the snow glistening once again everywhere, as an indication of the inner inspiration that we find, from living from that gentle voice, from within. . Bob went out to clear the driveway and start the cars, to make way to Portage, to meet Helena, at the Amtrak station. . He plowed the driveway, and worked a while, to clear the ice from the barn door, to be able to open it. . It was a gradual process, little by little, until the door came open. This is symbolic of opening one's heart to the experience of living in Love. . Cuzzin' Jerry and Chuck also came over to tighten up the chains on the big tractor, and helped put the plowblade on. Thank you, angel lights. . Kathy got some potato soup, bread, and hot coffee ready to warm them up, when they came inside. . Bob went on into Portage, to pick up Helena, at the Amtrak station, and meet her there. . They came out to Bumpity Road, and we shared with Helena our gratitude to her, for coming to be with us. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tuesday, 12-4-07 The morning brought many phone calls, and an opportunity to talk more with Helena. . Bob spent the day outside, getting the barn parking area plowed, and then stashing our Saturn and Caddy in the freshly plowed areas. . More plowing in the driveway, and along the walking paths, and Bob then loaded a big brush pile near the barn onto the hay wagon and toted it by tractor down to the campfire area. . Once the sun went down, the temperature dropped quite noticeably, so, a final trip to the woodshed for a couple of baskets of wood for Miss Atlanta (in the Sunrise Room), and then a wheelbarrow full from the barn for Miss Monarch (in the kitchen). . Both of these woodstoves do a great job of keeping us warm, as well as cooking many things, on top, and, in the oven. . They also keep two teapots whistling. :-) . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 12-5-07 Lots of plowing snow, shoveling snow, breaking ice off the cars, and carrying wood into the house for both wood stoves and feeding them all day long. . Cooking and sharing meals is such a blessed treat. Then, sharing a late night movie, to embrace the experience of living a life of peace, as portrayed in "Brother Sun, Sister Moon." . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 12-6-07 We went to Portage in the morning for Kathy's doctor's appointment, while Bob went off to the onion farm to buy 100 pounds of yellow onions (15 cents a pound). . Then he filled the tractor gas cans, picked up Kathy, and then Bob went to Mom Helen's for another cardplaying shootout with Mom Helen, Sis Rose, and Bro Ron. . Lots of laughs and fun and after four hours of cardslinging, Bob emerged as the top cardslinger. . Bro Ron gave Bob a ride home, followed by another movie, and then the late arrival of Jeffrey, from Cincinnati, OH. . Jeffrey had his challenges driving through a snow storm, but now he is safe and warm, with his Yogi truck snugly tucked in by our 2 cars at the barn. . It is great to welcome Jeffrey here, to JOY'n in and share the love with us. . After several hours of hooting, all the little owls fluttered off to bed. :-) . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 12-7-07 Jeffrey was up, and we visited with him, before leaving for Madison. . Bob and KAThy packed up the car, to drive to Madison, to go meet with Amy C., at the credit union. . She is always very nice and explains things clearly for us, so we enJOY the time that we spend with her very much. . Then, we headed on to Madison, and had lunch with Catherine at her house. She always makes a very nice meal, and keeps things fun, delightful, and cheery. . We stayed there for the afternoon, visiting resting, and talking, before going to meet Lois, Pat and Dolly for dinner. It was a very nice evening with the six of us at the Esquire Restaurant, and everyone was really fun to talk with. . When we returned to Catherine's house, we watched an interesting video, entitled "One." It was great to hear the insights that all of the people who were interviewed in the dvd have, about peacefully living life by letting the inner awareness show one the most helpful way to live. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 12- 8-2007 We shared a delicious breakfast with Catherine, that included a deeeelicious quiche, all kinds of fruit, muffins, juice, tea and coffee. The crust for the quiche was homemade, that we really appreciated. We found the loving hands which prepared that to be miraculous. . Wow, thank you, blessed friend, Catherine! . We stayed there, to read and be pampered by the Angel, Catherine. Wow, what a ONEderful sister, that she is. . Then, we went to the Noetics meeting, where the author Steven met with the group to talk about the book: "Digital Dharma." It was fascinating to hear about how he brought the information together, to write this book. It came from his work in the media, to see the blooming of computers and how they have developed, to make people aware of them. . Sort of a parallel thinking with Joe Campbell's, in that Steven sees eternal themes reoccuring in the various forms of the media. . Joe sees the same themes reoccuring over the history of humanity in all civilizations and religions. . When we were leaving, we invited him to come out to Bumpity Road, and he told us that he knows our friends Joel and Bettina, who live close to us, and that he looked forward to coming out here. . We went back to Catherine's and decided to go on over to Deb and Paul's, for the Spiritual Cinema night. . They showed the movie "Deja Vu," which is a powerful story that Kathy has seen several times. It lets one see the power of how the mind guides everyone, in trusting the inner voice to show you about what is the most helpful thing to do, in bringing loved ones together. . We met Sheri there, and talked with her about relationships that she has had, and how she received some power filled inner guidance from them. . When we came out to the car, there was a light snow covering the ground and cars. We took a slow drive home, to find Jeffrey and Helena watching movies, at Bumpity Road. . Then, we talked with them for a while, into the wee hours. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 12-9-07 We talked with Helena and Jeffrey about all of our experiences in welcoming the feelings that we've been seeing, which are very power filled. . It has given a ONEderful opportunity to have clarity about life and how one can find awareness, when shown the way. . We JOY'ned together in a meditation, which gave us a willingness to have a focus guided by Holy Spirit, which is very helpful. . We ate a meal of scalloped potatoes, that Bob made for everyONE, which was very delicious (because of Bob's "secret ingredient,"creamed cheese) . Thank you Fabulous Chef Roberto. . Kathy and Bob watched movies, which showed about trusting the inner voice in seeing how angels give guidance, when we have the willingness to listen. . Wow, thank you, Holy Spirit. . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, 12-10-07 . My, my, all that food! . Stir fries and brown rice, potato/rutabaga soup in creamed cheese sauce, and Bob's grandma's baked rice dessert, with raisins, vanilla, milk, eggs, and honey, all baked to a golden brown. Yummy! . Loretta and Mike joined us for a sextet of six angels (with Helena and Jeffrey), nourishing our bodies, and also, our souls. . Jeffrey wheel-barrowed wood from the pole barn for both stoves, so we were snug and warm, and also cooking on, and baking in, the wood cookstove. . We shared with Helena and Jeffrey in community, to look at experiences, that we are all having. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tuesday, 12-11-2007 Jeffrey was up early, to welcome in the morning and feed the Atlanta woodstove in the Sunrise Room. . Kathy and Bob came down, to share with him, and we embraced the opportunity to JOY'n in communing, and talk about the ideas that were coming to us. . Helena came in, and expressed thoughts that were coming from her heart with everyONE. . We are having a great blessing, by letting Holy Spirit guide us. . Bob made a deep fryer full of french fries, which were delicious, and we delighted in this gift. . Kathy's dad, Randy called, and Bob and Kathy talked with him, to come and visit, here at Bumpity Road. . It is fabulous to share in this way, whether it be in talking openly, laughing, or inviting everyONE to BE with us. It is an opportunity to be happy! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 12-12-2007 Bob and Kathy went to Madison to the V.A. Hospital, to see the angels there. When Bob woke up, felt guided to go there, because he felt a murmuring in his ear saying, please nuture me, which resulted in Bob getting prescription anti-bacterial medications for both his eyes and ears. . We went into Madison to Aldi's, Nature's Bakery, and onto the V.A. . When we got there, we met with a deLIGHTful doctor, who was very nice and cheery. . Then, made the trip to Portage, where we went to the library, to get books for Bob's mom, Helen, to read. Kathy visited with her, while Bob shoveled her driveway. It was great to see and visit with her. . We stopped by Kwik Trip, gassed up, and headed home. . When we got back to Bumpity, Helena and Jeffrey were up and we talked with them for a while, before turning the sheets, to purr away, in the hay. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, December 13, 2007 Kathy and Bob went into Portage, for Kathy to share a visit with the angel chorus, at Divine Savior. . They are always so friendly and helpful. Thank you everyONE. . While she was there, Bob went over and visited with his mom, Helen, sister, Rose, and Henry. They had a great visit. . When we returned to Bumpity Road, Helena and Jeffrey were talking about making the trip to the Peace House, in Cincinnati, OH., to meet with our family and friends there. So, they got things together, and hit the trail, to travel across the country. . So, we've shared a nice inspirational and interesting day, communicating with ONE another. . Thank you Angels. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 12-14-07 We enJOYed a morning of rest and welcoming the calls, that came our way from friends. . Bob and Kathy went to Mishler's General Store, the Bent and Dent store. Then, we went to the Pleasantville Bakery, where we arrived to see 5 Amish buggies parked outside. . All of these buggies are run by Amish families, whose women drive their horses and buggies to work in the bakery all day. It is always such a deLIGHT, to go to these businesses, because all of the workers are such a delight to talk and share with. . Kathy cleaned house to share with our many friends, while Bob split wood, in the fresh outdoors. . It is such a refreshing experience to live here, where we can walk out and smell the fresh, clean air instantly. . Don and Mary came over to see and share dinner with us. They brought along some fresh watermelon and tangerines, fresh from Mishler's also. Thank you so very much for the goodies, and your ONEderful visit, sweet angels of Peace! . We love you Mucho! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 12-15-07 Snow is gently falling this morning so Bob called the "old wolf," Mom Helen, to see if she wanted to come out in the country here and shovel some snow, however, she indicated, rather strongly, that she probably would not be leaving her den till spring. :-) . A luxurious morning with a long candlelight breakfast, and lots of chatting, topped off with Amish Pecan Rolls! . Life is sweet. . And nutty. :-) . Kathy also talked to her mom, Newell, in Kentucky, who is undergoing physical therapy in a nursing home in Kentucky after falling and breaking a thighbone, while Kathy was visiting her last month. . We JOY'ned with her, to be grateful for all of the angels that are helping her, with this fantastic experience of healing that she is embracing NOW. . It is a luxury to not have to burn wood on the weekends and evenings, because those two hungry woodstoves have insatiable appetites. :-) . The lower evening and weekend off-peak electrical rates enable us to enjoy a respite, a vacation really, from our heated relationships with those two wood stoves, Miss Monarch, in the kitchen, and Miss Atlanta, in the Sunrise Room. . We talked with Sylvia, from Colombia, to embrace the Love that she is. She is helping to put together a program to distribute A Course in Miracles in many countries. Thank you Sylvia. . Brian L. called from Montana, and it was great to laugh and JOY'n with him. . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 12-16-2007 We were awakened to the blessed JOY of reverance and peace today, and shared this easily. . Bob and Kathy came down, to have a fresh country breakfast. . Then, Angel Sylvia called, from Colombia, and we had a sacred JOY'ning with her. . She is a blessed messenger of love, enthusiam and peace, for us. Thank you Angel, for making this call with us, eternally! . Then, we shared about the many marvels of this blessing of BEing gratefully JOY'ned NOW! . We had calls from Florida, from Kathy 's Dad, Randy, and laughed with him. . Plus talking with Catherine, from Madison, who is in the delight, of decorating Christmas trees with friends. It brings her much joy. . We also talked with Sean, from Massachusetts, who was in the middle of a Christmas party, for children there. . We watched a movie that our friend, Don asked us to see, and give our perception of it. The movie is: "Saint Maybe." We suggest it to anyone who has guidance to be inspired by your inner voice. . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, 12-17-07 Kathy talked with Sylvia to share a power filled lesson with Holy Spirit, around how powerful that various symbols and messages are. Sylvia is a great messenger, of how one who is guided by her inner voice. Thank you Angel. . Bob and KAThy went to experience the joy of going to do many errands. . We picked up 100 more pounds of potatoes, (having already consumed 100 pounds in the past few months), from the local Potato Muck Farm, to feed all the blessed ones, who come to Bumpity Road. . Then, we went on to do many things in Portage, including singing to our Angel friend, Mary Kay, at Wal-Mart's customer service desk. . Thank you God, for the many miracles. . When we returned to Bumpity Road, we got a message from one who is selling a car, who we had talked with earlier. We got directions, and went on over to her house, near Montello. . We test drove the car, and had a holy encounter with the woman and her boyfriend. We didn't feel guided to buy the car, however, it was a helpful opportunity to follow our inner prompts about JOY'ning with these new friends, and see that the car was the reason that we seemed to come together. It was really a way to clarify more about what our purpose is, in BEing together, and communicating with ONE another. . When we got back to Bumpity Road, Jeffrey had arrived here, driving from the Peace House in Cincinnati. We really appreciated talking and sharing with him about all of his holy encounters at the Peace House, and everywhere. . Now, we are nestled in, and are peacefully at HOME. . Thank you God! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tuesday, December 18, 2007 Both wood stoves going all day, warming us as we watched the winter snowcapes from the many windows in the Sunrise Room. . Chef Roberto baked a big roasting pan of creamed potatoes with onions and rutabagas, and a very large pot of vegetarian vegetable soup. , Jeffery drove to Madison and picked Charles up at the Dane Co. Airport, Charles having just arrived from The Peace House in Cincinnati. . After Charles had rested, we ate lots of food and chatted until late in the evening, with Charles sharing many of his adventures as a Christian Brother (Bob's first teaching assignment was also with the Christian Brothers for three years), and Charles also shared many interesting stories about his mother, who was the eldest of 11 children in Lousiana. We had a really fun time with lots of laughter! :-) . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 12-19-07 Bob and Kathy off to several of the Amish Stores and a visit to the doctor. . A great chat with our mechanic, "Doctor Kirby," that was very informative and helpful about car maintenance and car purchases. . Jeffery had made another trip to Madison, this time to the Greyound Bus Depot, to pick up Helen, who had boarded a bus in the very wee hours to get here from The Peace House in Cincinnati. . Chef Roberto put a big ham in the oven and Kathy scrubbed up 5 pounds of Norland Red Potatoes and got the pot going for "smashed potatoes." . What a yummy meal! . And the baked brown rice, with eggs, milk, vanilla, and honey, is yet to come out of the oven! :-) . A dessert from grandma's recipe to celebrate today, which is our Third Wedding Anniversary Date (12-19-04)! . A late night viewing of WHERE THE RIVER RUNS BLACK, and then another sampling of creamed raisins and rice as a nightcap, before the "owlets" fluttered off to roost in bed. :-) ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 12-20-07 Up in the morning out to the wood stoves work for our heat, like that lucky old sun we keep rolling along thankfully sharing, with whomever, whenever, wherever, we meet. . Indefinite and spontaneous meals throughout the day, as we five had no agenda and "accidentally" joined to eat and chat throughout the day. . Charles and KAThy working up homemade pie crusts "from scratch" to use with our defrosted, homegrown, pre-baked, winter squashes to make home-made pumpkin pies. :-) . And then a quiet evening, curled up in the Sunrise Room with the video movie, "SAINT MAYBE." . Followed by home made pie and raisin-rice desserts. :-) . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 12-21-07 Helena and Jeffery were packing a few last items and then after repeated goodbyes and hugs, we watched their Toyota truck head down the road for Montana (and by year's end, Canada). . It was sooooooo fantastic to visit with Jeffrey and Helena, during both visits, and embrace this beautiful encounter of JOY'ning in Love with them. . Loretta stopped out for supper, and Chefs Roberto, Charles, and Katarina served a 5 course supper of soups, veggies, salads, rices, and desserts. . Loretta brought a dvd, that we watched with her, and showed about her trip to Sweden, which was very colorful. She was excited to share this with us, and we felt the love, that it brings to her heart. . Le Roi arrived and Chefs Roberto, Katarina, and Charles went into action again serving many dishes, followed up with servings of frozen, cubed, homegrown watermelon! . Then we had a wonderful sharing into the wee hours with Charles and Le Roi talking about many of their travel and work adventures, as well as their spiritual thoughts and actions during different parts of their lives. . And then, all the little owlets, fluttered off to their "reclined roosts." . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 12-22-07 A thawing morning. . Feels like spring! . Lots of morning chatting as we leisurely moved towards breakfast, brunch, lunch, etc. . Kind of a "continual grazing." . LeRoi was up early, checking the weather, to decide if he was to go to Cascade Mountain, to share skiing lessons, with willing friends. . Bob and Kathy came out of their roost, to BE with LeRoi, and share in talking about and experiencing the miracles of every moment. . Thank you LeRoi, for your willingness to come home, and share with us, as family. . Le Roi loaded his rutababas, onions, and taters, and headed back to Wisconsin Dells, and we three curled up with several Joe Campbell/Bill Moyers videos on The Power Of Myth. . Eventually, the smell of baked yams and baked taters, lured us back to the kitchen, to sample, hot from the oven, "goodies." . We watched videos and DVDs till the wee hours, including the very moving Evening Star, with Shirley McLaine. :-) :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 12-23-07 . We used lots of electric heat all day today, keeping the kitchen, Sunrise Room, etc. really snuggily warm. . Bob fixed twice fried potatoes and fried eggs for breakfast, and venison bacon sandwiches for lunch. . We enJOYed sharing the meditation service, while BEing blessed, to look out into the panaroma at the natural beauty in our minds. This showed a white snow carpeted view, outside of the Sunrise Room. This symbolizes the clarity that one has, when having an Open and Grateful Heart, for all of the many blessings, which we are given. . Charles fixed a gourmet supper with chicken flavored rice, sauteed nuts, and a sauteed green bean casserole. . We watched two movies, The Perfect Stranger (Jesus having dinner with a lady), and, Instinct, (the value of living in nature, and the dangers of being "civilized"), with Anthony Hopkins. . Before bedtime, we continued our dedicated grazing and have now finished all 4 of the pumpkin pies and baked desserts. . And the snow came down, all day long, blowy and snowy, and such a joy to behold from behind all the windows in the wonderfully warm, Sunrise Room. . Almost 6 inches of magic silver dust, sprinkled over everything. . And I do mean, evvvvvvvvvverything! . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: . Monday, 12-24-07 Plowing and shoveling the twinkling, gleaming, snow, (one really needed sunglasses!), and then finally getting a car back from the barn parking lot, and down the 400 feet of driveway, to the front of the house! . The snow had drifted into the driveway leaving us temporarily, and deliciously, snowbound. . Just Charles and Kathy and Bob, and, all that food! . Venison bacon and egg sandwiches for our late breakfast. . And then off to the Amish General Store for an assortment of nuts, candies, and healthy bakery items (whole wheat bakery flour, etc.). . Then, in to Portage to pick up a 12 pound turkey, and a final stop at Mom Helen's on Christmas Eve, to visit and play cards with Mom Helen, and siblings Ruth, Rose, and Ron, along with their partners, Teri, Henry, and Debbie. . Then a late night, moonlight drive, slowly, under 35 MPH (and sometimes, under 25), all the way home, thus avoiding deer, that did cross the road in front of us! . Yep! Rudolph was on the Wisconsin backroads, shortly before midnight, making late night deliveries! . And if you haven't seen Rudolph, be on the lookout for a verrrrrrrrrrrrry large deer! . The slow driving speed also enabled us to stay on the icy back roads, and, enjoy the Wisconsin Winter Wonderland by moonlight. . Charles had left a guiding light on, outside, so we felt warmly welcomed upon arriving at home. . We unloaded our groceries and other goodies, chatted with Charles, stored our goodies in many glass containers, and then began inching off towards our sleeping roosts. :-) . Christmas Day! Christmas every day! What fun it is to laugh and sing, with Christmas every day! Yay! . Kathy is lovingly embracing a 12 pound turkey, which the 3 of us are looking forward to for supper. . Our late night and early morning hours, have resulted in us sleeping later, but, (we do try to get out of our "jammies" before dark.) :-) . Phone calls, to and from, Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Florida, multiple Wisconsins, and Colombia, South America. . What a delight to bask in all this emotional and physical warmth, and enjoy all the whiteness just outside all these windows! . And the turkey supper? . Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! . Soooooooo, yummmmmmmmmmmy! . And Charles made an extra gallon of turkey gravy! . My, my, my! . After dishes, we watched the movie video, Moonlight Mile. . While on the outside was the moonlight on snow, creating a winter wonderland of white, blanketing all around the trees and on the fields. . The 3 little owlets then fluttered off to the refrigerators, before fluttering off to roost for the night. . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 12-26-07 A late breakfast-brunch of many turkey dinner leftovers (to keep our insides comfortable), with both wood stoves burning all day (to keep our outsides comfortable). . It is such a pleasure to see all the frosty white outside, throught the many windows of the warm inside. . Kathy and Bob shared a Pathways of Light course with Sylvia, from Cali, Colombia. We also got to talk with her mother, in Espanol, and it was verrrrry beautiful to remind her that she is an angel, who is the mother to a blessed One. . The birds have been parading to the feeder most of the day, sometimes a half dozen or more, feeding at one time. . Many goldfinches (and other finches), nuthatches and a rather large, red-headed, ladder-back, woodpecker. . A continuals stream of birds to the feeder, and sometimes arriving, or leaving, in flurries (like a snowstorm of birds, flying up into the air and trees!). . KatKat working with Charles on Accessing Inner Wisdom (which we all have, and, it is accessible to all of us, as we have both discovered, for ourselves, and others). . Mel arrived here from Oklahoma after dark, so after a happy "JOYning" of the four of us, the safari to the refrigerators began, to begin warming, and transporting, a smorgasbord of food to the dining table. . After lots of eating and chatting and laughing we watched the video movie, CHANGING LANES, which was quite interesting and thought provoking, ending on a high ethical note (after a lot of, escalating, unethical blunderings). . All the sleeping pills in our turkey dinners prevented us from seeing a second movie. (Jeffrey had left about 150 movies or so here, on videos or dvds). ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 12-27-07 We slept late and Mel left early to load her truck (at her Wyocena home), and then head for Oklahoma. . We worked on screening Craig's List on the internet to find a used Saturn car for sale, in the Madison area. . This is an incredibly effective way to buy or sell, just about anything. . Take a peek at a wondrous diversity of just about everything for sale in different areas of different states (and even countries?), by clicking onto craigslist.com . It's a trip. :-) , Mel is on her way to Oklahoma and Chefs Charles and Katarina (aka KatKat), have finished putting in 4 pumpkin pies after much playing around with making pie crusts from whole wheat bakery flour, etc. . Each of the pies is distinct from the others, with combinations of raisins, Wisconsin hickory nuts, walnuts, and one plain. . And the turkey gravy is disappearing even faster than the rapidly evaporating sunflower seeds in the bird feeder. . In addition to the slate colored juncoes, chickadees, goldfinches, nuthatches, downy woodpeckers, and ladderbacked woodpeckers, today we were also visited by blue jays and cardinals, for a total of 8 species in the past few days. . What a neat meditation symbol, just watch a bird till it flies away, and then fly away with it, and when you can no longer see the bird, well, just become the bird, and keep on flying! . Them pies is done, and they sho' smell good. . Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! . Kathy and Charles watched the video: Mr Deeds, with Adam Sandler, while Bob fluttered off to an early roost in a soft "cottony nest." :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 12-28-07 Bob up early and got both wood stoves burning briskly. This makes it alllll snuggly wuggly at the end of the ongoing road, which may first seem bumpity... Then, when you are open to looking deeep within your heart, you see that Love is all that there is! . We trimmed the fresh green 7 inch sproutings from 3 of our indoor garlic plants, and diced them to add to a 6 egg omelet, along with some corn bread crumbles (at Charles' suggestion, him being a down home Louisiana cornbread boy). . We also opened a gallon jug of natural apple juice that was incredibly apple-ischious. . Later, we all kept our appointments with several of the pumpkin pies, which are truly gourmet pies, almost like a fruit cake in a pie, what with all the nuts and raisins. . Just goes to show what can come out of the oven, when two angels are playing in the kitchen. :-) . Thank you Holy Spirit, for sending the Angel Charles, for this blessing of retreat, which he has been JOY'ning in, with us! . Bob wheelbarrowed to the barn and back for a wheelbarrow full of wood for both stoves, and with several inches of newfallen snow, he had to take a break every hundred feet or so. . Lots of birds to the feeders, and snow still falling, as darkness shades the snow. . Charles and Kat watched the movie Serendipity and Bob shoveled and plowed the driveway, and, discovering that a rear tire in the Saturn was low, took the car back to the barn for air from our old air compressor. . That driveway sure is slippery with melted snow that refroze as ice, but the chains on the big back wheels of the big tractor, make it easy to get traction and plow. . A late night appointment with raisin and nut, winter squash pies, was followed by the well filled owlets, fluttering off to their nests. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 12-29-07 The county snow plow has finally got to our Monthey Road early this morning, which means that there was snow, plowed back into both our driveway and barn parking area, so, Bob and the snow shovel got some early morning exercise, before getting the Saturn back down to the house again. . I know that this is the kind of thing that you snowbirds dislike about winter, but, for us, it is a small price to pay for temporarily living in An Awesome Winter Wonderland Now. . Thank you God, for having a paradise, for us to live in, and welcome all the Angels to: An Open Door of Love! . We are now hearing little voices from refrigerator #2, reminding us, to keep our breakfast appointment with two gourmet pies. :-) . And after that? Off to the Madison Airport, etc. . So. Charles' plane took him to The Peace House in Cincinnati, OH, via Detroit, and we headed for the V.A. Hospital for Bob's exam about a chest pain, etc., so an ekg was done immediately and the final result was a probable inflamation in the lining of my left lung. . Afterwards, we met Bill (whom we have been intermittently talking with for three days, via e-mail and cell phones), at Perkins Restaurant in Madison, chatted about his car, test drove it in the parking lot, and then purchased it, and Kathy drove it home, following Bob on the interstate. :-) . We have been moderating the Saturns for sale on Craigs List in the Madison area for the past week or so, and have found about 10 Saturns for sale, and were attracted to this one because of its 65,000 original mileage, sale of which we negotiated, for a final price of $2,900. :-) :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 12-30-07 BobKat welcomed the morning to the snow capped valleys. This is symbolic of a willingness to open our minds to the white purity of innocence. . We continue to embrace the blessing of BEing Now. . We have been looking at more cars and items on Craigs List, to find many seeming wonders of transportation and savings! . We fixed up a delicious mixture of stir fry sprouts and pasta, which was fantastic, to meet our taste deLIGHTS! Thank you for the blessings! . Bob's Mom, Helen called, and talked with Bob, and she sounded happy. . Kathy's Mama, Newell called from Kentucky, and is getting stronger. She is ready to start driving again tomorrow, and able to walk, to put the weight on her right leg fairly easily. . And so, another week slides into, Our Eternal Now. :-) . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, 12-31-07 The last day of 2007! . Another moment in eternity! . A microsecond of time, and a year vanishes! . Wow! Wow! Wow! . It is a ONEder...to wake up, looking at a miracle next to you, and seeing it as that...to realize that only God (the unexplainable) can create something like this..... For this, I am verrrrrry gratefully filled. . The eyes that I see with, are only truly seeing a fragment, of what is...Thank you God, for this beloved experience! . Bob went downstairs, to return soon, with cups of coffee and tea, to welcome the morning in! Thank you, beloved Angel! . .....Holy Spirit guided a profound sharing of the power of embracing the beauty of what is NOW... . We discussed the ideas that Bob has read very closely, from "The Masks of God," and other books by Joseph Campbell and additional writers, and any thoughts that came to mind. . Ahhhhhhhh, it brings clarity and the blessings to be grateful, to come together, in the ONE mind of Christ, with a Soulmate in Holy Relationship. We are verrrry grateful, for this! . While we were talking, brother Charles called, from the Peace House, to share with us in this discussion. It was great to embrace this with him. . He talked for a while, and David came on the phone, to say that they were going to see "The Atonement," a movie, at a theatre that shows many movies that give one an opportunity to look closely at their thoughts. Thank you, Peace House angels! . Cousin Mike called, to say that he was in the area, from Alaska, and asked if he could come to Bumpity Road, and take a bath. We invited him to come on over. . When he arrived, he cleaned up, then we cooked an omelet, and prepared a fruit plate, to eat. We visited and talked the afternoon, into the evening. . The woodstove is a cookin' and we're nestled in, for a warm New Year's Eve. It is fabulously beautiful outside, as we welcome the light of a new dawn in, with gratitude! . Now Bob is cutting rutabagas and carrot veggies, for another delicious festival of scrumptious stir fry treats, to embrace the honors of the New Year. . Thank you everONE who comes here, to honor each day, and see it like it is your First Day Ever, because that is All That One Has! . Cousin Mike is at one of the kitchen tables, working on updating his resume, to include his recent work experience for a gold mining company in Alaska. Kathy is doing dishes, whole wheat pasta, and a salad, Bob is adding diced, large yellow onions, into the stir fries, and itermittent angels are at this keyboard, tripping the Light Fantastic! :-) ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: What a year!. . 2007! .
