Friday, 2-1-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: It is a another chilly day, in Wisconsin, which makes us verrrrrry grateful for our warm, wood cookstoves. Bob was up early, to start them burning their warm ambers. . When KAThy JOY'ned him, they came TOgether to embrace the experience. . Bob called his sister, Rose to see if she was ready for a round of cards, which she willingly said YES to! . Kathy stayed home, and talked with Laurie, to share a Pathways of Light course, of Oneness Awareness. We laughed and welcomed this blessing that Holy Spirit presented to us, openly and fully! . Kathy was grateful to have the opportunity to share this lesson with Laurie, and let Holy Spirit sing through to each of us! We are able to talk about any of the experiences that have happened to each of us, and that is beautiful! . Bob returned from playing cards, and prepared a delicious dinner of soup and cheese sandwiches. . We received a phone call from Kathy's mom, Newell, who is visiting with her brother, Ben and niece, Susan, in the mountains of Kentucky tonight. . Newell is doing much better, and has lost her suntan from the jaundice that came to her. Now, it is gone, and the tumors are leaving her system. We are verrrrrrrry grateful to all of you for the prayers and love that you have shared with us, in this experience. . It is sooooooooooooo fabulous to have such a strong family of friends, who we can always express anything with, to let us stand strong, embracing and seeing that God is in charge! . Amen, thaaaaaaank you God! We are very blessed! . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 2-2-08 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: . We were up getting ready to go to a party, for Bob to play in a poker tournament in Madison, that our friend, Jeannine invited us to. . Bob made a big roasting pan of scalloped potatoes. . Kathy got some mail ready to send out, and got ready to go to Madison. . We went into Portage, to run some errands, including going by Bob's mother's house for a visit. . We got to Madison early, so went by Perkins for coffee and hot chocolate, which was nice and warming. . When we arrived at Brian and Jeannine's, we helped them finish getting ready, for everyONE to come over. . 48 people were playing at six tables, which was interesting and fun. Bob played until close to the end. . Our friend, Ken R. was there also, and it was great to visit with him. . A wonderful group of 48 cardplayers with sumptious, delicious dishes, brought by all! . It was a heart-warming, interesting, and inspirational experience. . Thank you Jeannine and Brian, we are very grateful for a snowy night, to make some new friends. :-) :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 2-3-2008 Bob was up to welcome the day, with e-mail messages from Angel friends. . Kathy was upstairs meditating and was about to come downstairs and JOY'n with Bob. . Then, heard a ring-a-ling of the phone from our friend, Jim. . I talked with him for a while, and came down, to give the phone to Bob, to talk with Jim. We laughed for a while, and it was a JOY to do so. . Jim is One of the most willing and helpful ones that we know, who shares, who and what he is experiencing, honestly. We really appreciate that. . We also talked with Bob's sister, Rita, and it was great to share with her, once again. . We spent the day looking at reflections about ideas in website messages and how they are helpful to share, in expressing our life's journey. . We also talked with friends and family from Kentucky, Florida, and one traveling from Pennsylvania to Virginia. . It is always great to be home at Bumpity Road, and experience the fun journey with so many at their homes, wherever they are. In this, we realize that home is where one's heart and mind are, Now. . Thank you God! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, 2-4-2008 Thank you for a blessed snow covered day on the Bumpity Road, that embraces us in this Peace filled life, in which we share the One Love of our heart. . We were inside again today, as more snow fell, to remind us of the blessings of our Onederful wood stoves. These ovens are symbolic of our warm open door to all of you. . Kathy and Bob JOY'ned together, to talk about a project that we're guided to put together, to show the beauty of following one's heart. It is always a happy experience to do this, and gives us a greater understanding of One Another. Thank you for the honor. . Tuesday, 2-5-2008 We welcomed the day in, to see the snow falling again, and then, to see it stop soon. . We ate a nice breakfast of oatmeal and raisins. . We were enJOYing the day, when Cuzzins' Jerry and Billy stopped by to visit with boxes of cookies and chocolate cherries. . We've been thinking about them, and they must have felt it, because they came to the Open door today. . We shared a meal with them, and visited for a while. It was great to see their smiling faces. . Bob went out to get the mail, and come back into the warm house, very soon. . We ate dinner, and had a Onederful time sharing together, here at Bumpity Road tonight. . Thank you God, that we have plenty of things to eat, and a warm house here, on this winter's night. . We are very grateful. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 2-6-2008 It is another snowy day, on our farmette in the countryside of Wisconsin. . Snow is a fallin' in this part of the country, and traffic is inching along the roadways all around. . So, we are staying at home in this cold weather. . KAThy talked to her mom, Newell in Kentucky tonight, and she said that she's recuperating well, and staying snuggled in at her house. . She is getting stronger, and relaxing a lot. . We are verrrrrry grateful for all of the angels who are blessing and helping her, so much. . Bob went out to do a few things outside, and was only able to be out there for a little while, because it was very chilllllly. . Coming back into the warm house was very welcoming and important to do, soon! Thank you for our trusty Miss Monarch wood stove. We are verrrry blessed, by her warming embers! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 2-7-2008 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: It was another day to enJOY BEing HOME, to feel the warm cook stove, toasting away. Thank you God! . Bob and Kathy embraced the blessing of the warm hearth, together, and it was fun to laugh and love our day through, while a little more snow fell outside. . Then, the sun started to shine, which we were very grateful for. . Bob bundled up and went outside, while Kathy stayed inside, and did some things that needed attention out there. . It was such a blessing to see Bob plowing the driveway, so that we might be able to go outside more easily. . When Bob came in, we had an afternoon snack. . Duncan called to return a message that we left for him, on his voice mail. It was deLIGHTful to hear from and laugh with him. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 2-8-2008 It is a beautiful day, to embrace the brilliance, of all that is NOW. . We went to Madison, to be with friends there, at Julia's house. . Our friend, Chuck M. was in town, from Texas to share with everyONE. It is very inspiring to see him, because he is very open to share with about what is in his heart and mind. . This gathering brought a profound awareness to all those who were there, and invite them to see the light that is withIN. Then, by doing this, we are called to embrace the awareness, of who we truly are. . We stayed at this gathering until 2 am, and many profound thoughts were shared with all of the angels there, of our real purpose, in BEing here. , Thank you for inviting us, to JOY'n in Love. ::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 2-9-08 It is another snow covered day, in this Wisconsin retreat house. . We enJOYed BEing together, and resting, at Home. . We called many of our Angels in Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, California, Wisconsin, and Colorado. . Those who answered got a musical serenade, to tell them that they are LOVE. . We had a conversation with Bob's sister, Rita for over two hours, and it was ONEderful to talk openly and lovingly with her. . We left messages for many in places, who weren't home. . We also talked with Kathy's dad, Randy for a while. . Mary Ellen, from Milwaukee was home and we talked with her about her recent translation of a letter that Bob sent to her in Spanish, which Bob invited her to translate. She is taking a course to learn Espanol, and It took her 1.5 hours to translate Bob's Spanish letter, and she totally appreciated it. She says it makes translating the language much more fun and interesting for her. . We talked with Lesley and Herb, in Colorado, and it is always great, to share with them. . Kathy's mom, Newell and brother, Clay welcomed their call enthusiastically, and it was great to talk with both of them. Newell is getting stronger everyday, and she likes the musical messages. . Okay, thank you all for talking with us so much, and we invite anyone to call us anytime. . We love you mucho! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 2-10-08 We came together, for breakfast and shared it, in our warrrrrrm kitchen. Thank you God, for this beautiful home, which gives us shelter, during this day. . Kathy and Bob shared the meditation in our Sunrise Room, while looking out of the large windows, here at home. . It was a fabulous experience to let Holy Spirit guide us in this service, to embrace the voice, from withIN. . Bob went to rest, and Kathy answered messages. . When Bob reJOYned Kat, we decided to watch "Vanilla Sky" together. This movie is a profound experience, of one who has a strong dream about BEing brought into a clear mind about what makes him truly happy. . Thank you God! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, 2-11-08 :::::::::::::::::::::::::: It is now - 4 degrees here, so we are snuggling in, to embrace the sincere beauty of Love and welcoming our inner mirror, of warmth! . Kathy did some updating of things that we do online, while Bob was a cookin' Angel. . Bob made a delicious vegetable soup, with our Bumpity Road tomatoes, green beans, and added onions, plus the seasonings, including creole, which topped it off. This made it a verrrrry tasty and scrumptious feast. . Then, Bob made a green bean, potato, and onion stir fry. Yes, we are remaining to be well fed and taken care of, in this winter bounty. . Kathy cleaned up the fixins', in the Bumpity kitchen, while Bob sent more blessed e-mail messages, to you all. . Now, we're ready for a warm winter nap tonight. . Thank you sooooooo much! . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tuesday, 2-12-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: It is a beautiful day to experience BEing a part of this miraculous experience of Love. . We are grateful for this opportunity to get to BE JOY'ned in the family Spirit, very strongly and eternally! . Kathy finished a project that she started online, and that was helpful. . We continued to smell the beauty of living in the country, and it's sweet embrace. . Miss Monarch, the wood burning stove, continues to keep us warm and comfy. . Bob did go out to get wood and check the mail. He was back in very soon, rubbing his cold hands and with a red nose. Usually he is warm, even in cold weather, so that shows how cold it is outside. . Thank you Angel Roberto! . We are staying inside most of the time, and seeing this snow as a white sheet, which is symbolic of the clean slate in our minds, to BE peaceful. . Kathy talked with Deb, and it was great to share with her. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 2-13-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Bob came to warm the downstairs, with the wood stove. So, it was getting more comfortable, when Kathy came down. . Kathy did some calling to answer questions that we had about various things, such as Badger Popcorn, to share with any of you who visit. It is gooooood popcorn. . Bob took another walk outside, in this coooold weather to get the mail, and get more wood. Thank you, blessed Angel Woody One! . We stayed inside the rest of the day, and kept warm again. . We are very grateful for this warm, Bumpity Road retreat house. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 2-14-08 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: It is another beautiful winter day, on the Bumpity Road. . Kathy came down, and started Miss Monarch, to warm us throughout the day. . Bob came down, and JOY'ned her soon. . Sean called us, to share that he'd just talked with Sylvia, and they send their Love. . We talked with Bob's mother, Helen. . It is the day of loving Valentine's, so we did that throughout the day, with everyONE, as we do everyday! . Bob went out to plow the driveway, to ready us to go to Madison, Wi, early in the morning. . We are now able to nestle in, so we'll be ready to walk through the snow, early in the morning, to go into Madison. . Love you Angel Valentine's! Thank you for extending your wings of Love! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 2-15-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Hurray, hurray, Angel Roberto, thank you soooo much for going out to start and warm up the car, to get us ready for the drive to Madison! . When Bob came back to the house, KAThy was bundled up with layers of clothes on, to walk up to the barn. Then, get into the toasty and comfy car, for the trip to Madison. . We made it to Madison a little early, for Bob's eye appointment, at the VA hospital. . There seemed to be a lot fewer cars in the parking lot today, probably because of the weather. . The eye doctor was very thorough and informative. Thank you again, for having the willingness, to talk with us extensively. . We went to Badger Popcorn, and got a large 50 LB. bag of popcorn. So, whenever you come to Bumpity Road, we have corn, that is a ready to pop! . We went to the Old Country Buffet Restaurant, and feasted on their food bar. Wow, they have rows and rows of lots of tasty delights. Whenever you're in Madison, WI, or any place with an OCB Restaurant, and are hungry, this is the place to go. . Then, we came back to Portage, where Kathy dropped Bob off at his mother, Helen's, to play sheepshead with her and his sister, Rose. . Kathy went shopping, and ran some errands. It was a nice day to do this, as the sun was out, which made it easy for traveling. . It looked like many had ventured out, after staying home for a while, so it was a nice break, from the snow. . Kathy came back to share with everyONE, while they finished the card rounds, and laugh with the strong three-tet. . Then, Bob and Kathy headed home, to Bumpity Road. . We are now home, and ready to rest. . Thank you God, for all of the blessings! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 2-16-08 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: We went to Madison today, and headed to Nature's Bakery, to stock up on the fresh natural breads, that they make daily. We get their day old bread, which they sell for .75 cents a loaf in their store on Willy Street, and for a lot more in the grocery stores. The bread is deeeeeeelicious! . Then, we went to the Old Country Buffet again for lunch. There were a lot more people there today. This is probably because it's Saturday, and it's was a little clearer outside with the weather today, too. . We proceeded to the East Towne Mall, to check on glasses there, for Kathy. We went to J.C. Penney, Lenscrafters, and Sears. The clerks were all very nice, to talk with, and we felt very happy by all of the holy encounters that we shared with the people and each other, in these experiences. . It gave Kathy and Bob some conversations that were helpful to embrace, and look at the true meaning of this opportunity. This gave us a way to look at how we SEE one another, rather than getting glasses, to see what is outside of oneself. So, it was a chance to LOOK deeply within, at what truly matters. What matters is that we are ONE, and the details about glasses and how we get those, are simply another vehicle to truly communicate our willingness to love, with open hearts and minds. . Thank you God! . We went to Deb and Paul's, following that. There, we JOY'ned with those there to visit, and watch the dvd by Louise Hay, about: "You Can Heal Your Life." . It was very appropriate to see this, after our earlier sharing. It gave us inspiration to see what it truly means to BE HAPPY, and that is to LOVE, and be LOVED about what truly matters. . We were grateful, to be JOY'ned there, with everyONE. . We were going to stay overnight, though, since the weather angels said that we might get a lot of snow in the night, we decided to head home to Bumpity Road, tonight. . We are now home, and snuggled into the warm house. . We are veeeeeeery grateful !!!!!!!!! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 2-17-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Another fabulous day in this house of Love, brings us to the awareness of joy and gratitude. . Bob was up early, to embrace all of the blessings. . Bob talked with niece Barbara, to talk with her about how things are going for her, while being involved in her new experience of teaching at a nursing school. . Kathy came down to JOY'n Bob, and share in our community of peace. . The snow has been a falling fully all night and day, so we are very grateful that we came home last night. . We decided to fast, which helps us to go Fast to God. This fasting is a powerful experience. Plus, since we had the great feast days at the buffet in Madison on both Friday and Saturday, it felt very helpful to do this. . Bob answered e-mails, before Kathy came down, in the morning. Then, Kathy did the same, in the afternoon and evening. . Laurie called, and it was great to talk with her. She was in good spirits. It is fabulous to hear her so happy. . Bob went out in the snow to plow the driveway, with the (big) Allis Chalmers tractor. She is a powerhouse of many horsepower of strength for us, both in the summer and winter. Thank you, Ally Christ! . >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Monday, 2-18-08 . It is another day, to BE guided by Holy Spirit! . When Kathy came down, Bob was editing and writing messages, to add to the new website that we've created, to answer the Call for Love, that a dear friend has made to us. . Thank you Holy Spirit, for calling us to BE Helpful in this way. . Kathy shared an Accessing Inner Wisdom counseling session with this blessed friend. . Bob and Kathy ate a dinner of stir-fry, with rhutabaga and onions, plus brown rice, to candlelight. . Thank you, Holy Spirit, for the joy, and for giving us this warm and comfortable house to live and serve in! . We are abundantly blessed, and very grateful, for this! . Bob bundled up like an eskimo, four layers of clothing, to go on a search for our white Caddy and our white Saturn, both cars are parked outside the pole bar, near Monthey Road. . Bob has used the big tractor and plow blade to move as much snow as possible, but the deep snow eventually stops the movement of the big tractor, aways creating a snow mountain. . Bob is trying to remember the location of the first two "natural" snow mountains, because, there just might be a Caddy and a Saturn all covered up under very thick blankets of white. :::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tuesday, 2-19-08 :::::::::::::::::::::::::: Bob was up to do things downstairs fairly early, and start the wood stove, in this cooling embrace of the blessed light of Love. . Kathy got up, and we went out, to warm the car up. While we were doing that, one of the neighbors came down the driveway with his truck plow, which cleared the snow out, part of the way down. Thank you so much. Then, we went to the election post, to vote. . Everyone there was very nice. A woman remembered Bob, and that he taught Spanish, so she was talking with him about that. Bob talked with her about the online Spanish lessons that he is sending to anyone who is interested. So, another Spanish friend has appeared. . We came home, and Bob went out to plow the driveway, once again. . Thank you, Angel. . We ate a tasty and fun lunch, with a mixture of veggies, plus an assortment of fresh sprouts. Mmm, mmm, delicious! . Bob went out, to bring wood in. Thank you, Love! . We are very grateful, for all of the blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Snow is now piled to high for the plow to move, so Bob has begun digging towards a buried car. . Frozen snow, makes the shovelling strenuous, requiring slow but steady progress. . Success! . I have found the front bumper of the white Saturn! :-) ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 2-20-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: The sun is 'a shinin' beautifully, through the windows to the Bumpity Road house. Thank you God. . We are embraced in the miracle of BEing AT HOME in this snowy weather, and grateful for all that is! . Kathy got up to share in an online course of: Living the Spirit-Led Life: The Holy Spirit-Your Inner Teacher with Deb, Christine, Linda W., Naomi, and Corrie. It was ONEderful to share with these friends, in the experience of BEing who we are, and expressing honestly, where our hearts are taking us. Thank you for this opportunity, to share with everyONE. . Bob got up to come on down, and BE in the blessing, of living NOW, in the freshness of every miracle. Thank you Angel! . We shared meals of groats for breakfast. . Then, potatoes and green beans, plus delicious fresh sprouts, for dinner. . Well, then Bob asked if we wanted the cinnamon jelly beans treats. Mmmmm, mmm, they are good! So, we ate those. . We are very blessed. Thank you sooooo much! . Bob continued digging on the driver's side of the White Saturn, and finally got all the snow moved away. . But the drivers door is frozen shut, and cannot be opened. . Shucks. . Tomorrow, I will look for the passenger door. :-) ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 2-21-08 We went into Portage, where we stopped to drop things off to have our taxes done. . Then, we went to Bud's Pizza, to eat from their tasty buffet. . They had pizza, chicken, salad bar, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and many delights. Thank you. . Kathy dropped Bob off at his mom Helen's, to play cards with her and his sister, Rose. Helen's chiropractor wanted to play a game with them, so he was going to meet them there, when he came to give her a treatement. . Kathy went to run errands, by going to Wal-Mart and Walgreens. Then, she came back to Helen's, and watched while they finished playing cards. . We came home, and did a few things, then, went up to have an overnight siesta, in the snow. Oh, it is stiil white and beautiful. . I found it! I found it! . I finally got the passenger door all cleared, but, alas, it too, is frozen. . But, with persistence, it finally opened, and I was able to push open the frozen driver's door, from the inside! Hurray! . But, the battery was frozen and did not turn over. . And the hood is frozen with ice, and will not open! . Shucks! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 2-22-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: This is another beautifully white winter miracle, in which we JOY'ned to clear our minds, and BE OPEN to what is the most helpful experience, to embrace! . We shared a morning, to look at the blessings, of all that is. . Bob went out to gather, and bring wood in. . We ate a simple lunch of a delicious variety, from our outside gardens and inside sprout garden at Bumpity Road, with Wisconsin cheese. . Thank you, for all these treats. . Kathy called friends, who we might meet with during the weekend, when we go north, to Pathways of Light. . After much effort, got all the ice off the hood, and finally got the hood open, and a battery charger on the dead battery. . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 2-23-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: It is a beautiful day now. . Kathy and Bob decided to go to West Bend, WI today, and stay with travel club hosts there. . We started driving, and went to the Gibbsville Cheese Store. Again, we got more mysterious cheese, to add to our Wisconsin cheesy delights. . We went to meet Laurie at the Millhome Supper Club, and it was deLIGHTful to JOY'n with her. We enJOYed the prime rib buffet, and got to talk very openly with Laurie there. . It is always a fantastic joy, to be embraced in the Love with her. She exuberates love, thank you for sparkling, Laurie. . Then, we went over to meet our Travel Club hosts, Carol and Jack. . They were very friendly and delightful, to visit with, and it felt marvelous to be welcomed, into their home. . We talked until the wee hours. . :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, 2-24-08 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: We were up early, to get ready, and have breakfast with Jack and Carol. . We did this, and the breakfast was delicious, and visiting with Carol and Jack more was also joyful, interesting, and fun. . We left their home, on our way to Pathways of Light, where we arrived before the service. We talked with Mary and Robert, and they told us how things have been progressing, with preparations for the move from Pathways of Light. . Laurie, Gerry and Marilyn came to JOY'n Robert, Mary, and us for the service. . It was great to embrace the meditation, with these Holy Spirit mirrors. Thank you God! EveryONE is always JOY'ned in this community of Love, and it is very vibrant. . Mary and Robert invited us to stay for lunch, and we did that. Then, we got to talk, even more. It was ONEderful, to express the Love with them. . Then, we loaded up the car, and headed back to the Bumpity Retreat home, that God blessed us with. . We decided to nap, because we were tired when we got home. So, we did that, and then got up to do a few things, and it is nice to be home again. . Thank you, Holy Spirit, for all of the blessings. . (It started! It started! The little white car started! And, finally, it is freed from its mountain of snow!) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Monday, 2-25-08 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> It is a fabulously beautiful day, at Bumpity Road. . Bob came down, to start the Monarch wood stove, and embrace the miracles of simple living, at Bumpity Road. . It is fabulous. In the case that you never seem to have experienced this, please come to Bumpity Road, and see what country living in a natural environment, is all about. . Kathy came to JOY'n in with Bob, and we shared some interesting discussions about our perspectives about what we'd both been thinking and doing. . This guided Kathy to read in A Course in Miracles for a while, and do some of the suggested exercises in the course: Living the Spirit-Led Life: The Holy Spirit - Your Inner Teacher. It has been a marvelous experience to do this, and embrace this opportunity fully. In doing this, I feel really touched, and loved. Thank you God. The reason why is that it has helped me see how some thoughts that were coming to me don't mean anything. . This is the major reason why ACIM is helpful to me, is to see that none of the thoughts that aren't focused on love, which seem to mean something, at any moment, mean anything. Thank you God, for this realization. . Bob went out to bring wood in and unload the car. Plus, he went to get the mail, and be very helpful with everything. I am sooooo grateful for Bob, and his willingness. He is fantastic! . We went to the library group tonight, and participated in a discussion about a book: "The Story of my Boyhood and Youth," by John Muir. . John is a man who grew up in Wisconsin, did a lot of exploring, and traveled quite a bit, to California, Yosemite, etc., eventually becoming the father of our national park system. He loved and embraced nature, in his life, and these travels. HIs writings show his passion for living naturally, in the outdoors. . The group sharing was fantastic, and Anne, the facilitator, did a beautiful job. . It was good to see former book-discussion friends, Hans and John L. . We came on back home, skipping a stop at Portage's Drive-In Popcorn Stand, because we had a 50# bag of popcorn at home, waiting for us! . Thank you God for our abundant blessings! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tuesday, 2-26-08 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: A mulititude of blessings came to us today, as Bob and Kathy have been cookin' and JOY'ning in the experience of Love, here at Bumpity Road. . Bob sent messages to friends, to touch minds and hearts. . Kathy JOY'ned in with him, and made some tasty shakes, which included some of our acorn squash, from the Bumpity Road garden. . Bob went outside, to dig the white dove, Saturn out, and came in with very chilly angel fingers. Thank you Love! . We ate dinner, and embraced the blessing of BEing home inside, with the white carpet of snow, staring at us, from outside. . Patty M. called, and it was great to talk with her. . Kathy cleaned up the kitchen, and we are now resting, and enJOYing the evening. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 2-27-2008 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Kathy was blessed to get up and start Miss Monarch, the fantastic wood burning cookstove that warms us at Bumpity Road, through the cold months of winter. . Then, Kathy talked with Deb, Christine, Naomi, Linda, and Corrie, in the tele-conferencing group of coming together, to share: The Holy Spirit-Your Inner Teacher. This is a course that spirit has guided Deb and Paul to bring together, as part of their ministry. It is a marvelous opportunity to come together in community, with friends who embrace Spirit's compassion, like we do. Thank you God! We are very honored to be a part of this experience. . Bob came down, to JOY'n KAThy, in living life NOW, because that is all that is. . Bob went out, to shovel snow, and came in soon, to rest. Thank you Angel! . We ate lunch, of the casserole that KAThy made, with green beans, tomatoes, brown rice, onions, and that fabulous Bragg's seasoning. All this is topped with our cheese, for a good and tasty delight. . Then, we delighted in a quiet afternoon, in the country. . LeRoi called, and we talked with him, for a while. It was great, to share with him. . Kathy made a veggie stew, out of rutabagas, buckwheat groats, onions, carrots, water, and Bragg's. It was a great way to bring the veggies together, to make a harvest soup. Thank you for all that we're blessed with, here at Bumpity Road. . We were delighted to watch a show about the life of Pete Seeger, who believed in singing songs that were truly about bringing people together, in a classical way. This way is to unite people everywhere, as ONE. . His message is ours, to BE united in Love. In this, we are very joyfully graced, to be messengers expressing, in a peacefully ONEderful way. Thank you God, for giving us this honor, to hear what he embraced everywhere, and with everyONE. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 2-28-08 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Bob was up, and got the stove a goin', to warm the Bumpity Inn of Love. . KAThy JOY'ned him, and he had finished a new song. . So . . . we sang Your... Overflowing Love TOgether. . It is a fantastic expression of the gift of giving and receiving love, thank you Angels, for sending it to us. . Call us, if you'd like to hear, and sing it with us! . We heard from Catherine, who said that she, Duncan, and other friends will be coming to visit tomorrow night. . That is great to hear. . So, now we're going to nestle in, and take a comfy slumber. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 2-29-08 LEAP YEAR DAY! Yay, yay, yay! girls propose to boys today! Yay, yay, yay! :-) . What a way to go into joy and bliss! . Bob went into town, to his mom's, Helen's, to play cards with the three 80 something year olds + Bob and sister, Rose, a card slinger crew of five. . KAThy stayed at Bumpity Road, to get ready for a group of friends, from Madison. . KAT cleaned all around the house, and Bob returned, to clear the driveway with the big tractor and plow. . Then, the Angel troupe appeared, including Catherine, Duncan, John, and Jeannenne, from Madison, Middleton, and Shorewood. . We toured them around the Bumpity INn, and decided where everyone was going to stay overnight. Then, visited and rounded everyONE up, to go to Kountry Korners for their Friday night fish fry. . Then, we went over to Kountry Korners, where we talked with the owner and cook, Deb, when we got there. . We were seated, and had their unlimited perch dish, around the table. It was very good. . LeRoi arrived, and his friend, Michelle got there, soon afterwards. . We all enJOYed visiting, and this was the first time that any of us had met Michelle, so we shared a very nice time, to JOY'n together, and laugh and have fun, in this welcoming atmosphere. . We came back to Bumpity Road, and visited, then sat around the wood stove, and talked and laughed about whatever came to heart, for anyone. . Some shared about dreams that they'd had, and we all gave our perceptions of what was shared. . Duncan brought a very interesting collage, about ideas that he has had and is experiencing, all around himself. It was very introspective and interesting, to look at, and embrace. . Bob popped six batches of the Badger Popcorn, that we got recently, and served frozen cubed watermelon. . Both were verrrrrrry delicious. Thank you Angel Bob! . We laughed and shared, at length, and all fluttered off to our various bungalows, to take a roost for the night. . |
