New Year's Day! New Year's Day!
A New Year, Every Day!
What fun it is to laugh and sing
with a New Yearrrrrr Everyyyyyy Day!
.
Sunday afternoon and evening we spent in Madison at Catherine's elegantly furnished home, and bounteously furnished table.
.
Soooooooo, enjoyable to chat with dear friends, Catherine, Duncan, and Julia, and also the new friends that we were meeting for the first time.
.
A diverse group of people, each of them a gift, a surprise gift actually.
.
The presence of each, was a gift already wrapped, waiting to be unwrapped, seen, and accepted.
.
Interacting with each of them was unwapping the gift, seeing and accepting the gift of sharing that they offered.
.
Thank-you, Catherine, for the multitude of gifts that we enjoyed for hours and hours.
.
We came home with our sleigh, laden with precious memory gifts.
.
Muchas gracias, Santa Catherine!

Cleaning, organizing, and several hours of phone calls!
.
We talked to a lot of people today!
.
And....left lots of messages!
.
As well as e-mails.
.
Fueled on soup, sandwiches, squash, and green bean casserole.
.
Bob began January re-organizing by going into six writing desk drawers, where he has been storing miscellanea for centuries. :-)
.
Interesting to note that whenever Bob re-organizes, to make things neater, a VERY LARGE AREA, suddenly becomes inundated with the accumulations of years!
.
But, it is a good feeling to end the day with, namely that sense that one has acomplished something, and, that more will be accomplished on the morrow.
.
Our successes today, carried over into the chocolate-mint ice cream (we did not have any). :-(
.
But tomorrow, may be a different story. :-)
.
A delightful addiction, temporarily neglected. :-)
.
A delightful addiction.
.
Only 11 more pails (of 5 quarts each), of ice cream in the barn freezer.
.
Heeeeeeelp! :-)

Kathy working in the house today, and making more phone calls and e-mails.
.
Bob slaving over the hot card-table with Mom Helen, sister Rose Marie, and buddy Jim H.
.
Lots of laughs among this playful quartet, helped Mom occasionally forget her pain.
.
Afterwards, the two guys went to Dino's for dinner (thank-you, Jim), where we had a chance to chat extensively over dinner and coffee.
.
Then a cautious drive home, to avoid hitting any deer, and then back to work at our desks, cleaning and organizing.
.
Bob is finding a lot of things, that, Bob did not know that Bob had!
.
Wow!
.
Wait till Bob get up to that packed full, 40 x 80 barn!
.
:-)

Kathy into Portage early for errands.
.
Temperature was in the 40s, so the kitchen wood cookstove was all we needed for heat today.
.
We handled a lot of communications to the angels who have touched us in sooooo many ways!
.
KAThy made phone calls to many of our friends and family:
.
Ahhhhhh, what a joy to talk with my cousin, Keith, from Alabama. He is such a joy! We howled with laughter, as he is always very funny! Thank you, giant Angel! He says that he wants to come and visit Bumpity Rd., and will try to round the whole gang up! I shared with to him to COME HOME, whenever he's ready!
.
Then, Angel Susan, in Madison. She talked about wanting to come out, and bring her beautiful grandchildren. Thank you Zen. Please do so, when you can!
.
Victor, one of Bob's three (80+) year old, card-slinging desperatos.
.
Loretta, the angel light, who has touched our hearts and minds so often, in our many celebrations of Love, at Pathways of Light.
.
Our Florida Angel, Robert. He lived with us, here at Bumpity Rd., and JOY'ned in Community. He left, as Winter was approaching. He said that he thinks about coming here often. Right now, he thinks that he'll wait until it gets warrrrrrrmer.
.

.
Our wood cookstove had the kitchen temperature at 70, when we went to bed last night.
.
We forgot to turn the electric base-board heat on, before we went to bed, but the temperature only dropped 4 degrees, to 66.
.
The Amish custom made storm windows helped, and so did the fortyish weather outside.
.
We drove to Milwaukee for Kathy's dental work at the Marquette University Dental School.
.
Kathy is very happy with her dentist there, who is finishing his dental training in a few months, and then is returning to Utah to work in his dad's dental office.
.
Bob worked on editing a few new songs for a few hours, polishing a few lines here and there, and brainstorming new song ideas.
.
Then off to Madison, "la capital del estado de Wisconsin," and then north a bit, to dine sumptuously with Don and Mary in Middleton.
.
My, my, what a great gourmet salad!
.
(Kathy agrees that the salad deserves an exclamation mark!)
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.
And the olive oil, rosemary, garlic cloves, flavoring the baked potatoes?
.
My, oh my, tasty enough to qualify for making potato sandwiches.
:-)
.
Brussel sprouts, broccoli, and ham galore, followed by Chocolate Garcia Ice Cream.
.
We were very willing to help them clean out their refrigerator before they left for their little drive to Puerto Vallarta, Mejico, tomorrow morning.
.
So many treats, being with this pair of oblates from the (former) Saint Benedict Center.
.
A stop for gas and apples on the way home, and then, by 8:30 p.m. or so, we were on ACIM GATHER for about an hour, sharing our thoughts about the writing and content of the ACIM GATHER theme song: I KNOW JUST WHAT TO DO.
.
What a joyful, inspirational experience, to bask in the joy of all the participating angels, many of whom have been mentors for us, on more than one occasion, including: David (New York), Linda (California), Robert (Iowa), Myron (Louisiana), and Betty (Kentucky), among others.
.
The keyboard, monitor, and microphone, are marvelously joined to allow for any of the participants to express any thought, at any time, TO ALL OF THE OTHER PARTICIPANTS.
.
Wow!.
.
Talk about instant feedback, and it's from everybody, all the time!
.
Our souls have been nourished, by all these angels, sharing their loving kindness and inspirational thoughtfulness with us.
.
We truly feel, ABUNDANTLY BLESSED!
.

.
Woohoo!
KAThy gathered all the blessings together, to roll to Madison, for the Miracles Ladies Pajama Party!
.
Sooooooo, that is what I did. It was great, to get everything things ready, and head to the Miracles in Madison Center.
.
The angels there were Maggie, Andrea, Connie, Deb, Autumn, and Kathy.
.
Andrea brought her helium balloon machine, and we blew up the mosaic o red, pink, blue, purple, yellow, and green balloons. As the air came in, they were on free flow to float and dance everywhere.
.
Andrea brought a cd of popular songs, that included: "Celebration!" We danced, sang, and laughed very hard. It was great, to JOY'n in the fun! All of our little girls had a fabulous experience!
.
Then, we had a break for treats. Maggie brought a delicious veggie pizza, that had been gifted to her, so she included it for the party! Thank you, blessed Light!
.
Connie made a delicious homemade bread and salsa plate, which was delectable.
.
Andrea brought some ONEderful neopolitan ice cream bars.
.
Mmmmmm, mmmm, thank you all!
.
We watched a Spiritual Cinema dvd, about many coming together to let go, and embracing the Holy Instant NOW!
.
Then, we decided where to rest, in the bungalow of Miracles Angel Ladies.
.
KAThy slept on a snuggly and comfy couch. She called Bob before resting, into the evening siesta.
.
Bob spent the day working in the house, and by late afternoon was writing a story about his meditative mentor experience, with Granddaughter Jaqueline, in California, a few years ago.
.
All of which led up to Bob's mailing the finished writing: My Nine Year Old Guru, to about 200 friends via e-mail.
.
Also spoke with Ken, Rafe, Pam, and Sybil.
.
Song writing and editing also kept Bob busy till the wee hours, still awake when the Pajama Party Girl called, shortly before 2 a.m. :-)
.
That girl sure does know how to party! :-)
.

.
We welcomed the morning, to eat a fantastic breakfast of an almond pastry, made by Connie. We had other treats, like pancakes, fruits, coffee, and tea.
.
Maggie packed her things up, to go JOY'n with her birdie, and sing and dance with it.
.
Then, Deb, Connie, Andrea, and KAThy gathered for the Sunday morning service, in the Community Meeting Room! We JOY'ned in a profound sharing, totally guided by Holy Spirit! A lot of helpful messages came through to everyONE!
.
Thank you blessed, Inner Guidance!
.
Connie packed up her things, and left to go and be adventurous!
.
Andrea got ready, and left, to meet with another friend.
.
It was great, to share with everyONE, in this Celebration of Love!
.
KAThy stayed and visited with Deb and Autumn for a while. It is great, to share in this open sisterhood, of unity! Thank you Holy Spirit!
.
Kathy got ready, and rolled back to Bumpity Rd., as rain drizzled down, to clear the way!
.
It is great, to be home at Bumpity, and share with the light mirror, Angel Roberto!
.
Thank you Holy Spirit, for this constant mirror, of who I truly am. I am soooooooo gratefully filled with LOVE for this blessed Holy Relationship!
.
The angel is back! The angel is back!
.
Lots of catching up on all the momentous events during the past 24 hours.
.
E-mails coming in about the writing Bob mailed out.
.
This built-in support group of Loving-Kindness Friends, sure does encourage both of us to keep phoning and e-mailing our angel mentors.
.
We are their stewards, keeping their beds made, and the light on, for them to arrive, whenever they wish, at the door that has no lock.

.
Mom made an emergency call to Bob for library books, this morning, as she had finished the novels Bob recently checked out of the Portage Public Library for her.
.
Mom usually gets up several times a night because of persistent pain, and usually reads until she is tired enough to sleep again.
.
So, Bob dropped off an additional 8 novels which might last 10 or 12 days.
.
Maybe.
.
With difficulty, Mom got out of the house, and into the old white Caddy with Bob, and went out to Rose and Henry's, to play Sheepshead.
.
Henry's recent foot surgery seems to be healing up pretty good.
.
Lots of fun and lots of laughs.
.
And lots of freshly baked cookies. :-)
.
Mom's greatest difficulty is getting out of her chair, and, getting out of the car.
.
Even small or half steps are troublesome for her, like the one in the front doorway to her house.
.
But, she is fun to be with, is appreciative, has a great sense of humor.
.
And is also willing to tattle on herself, and laugh about herself!
:-)
.
Yayyyyyyyyy, mom!
.

.
Lots of wood in the house to feed the two hungry stoves today.
.
Wood carefully selected for each of them all day long.
.
Bob moved furniture in the Sunrise Room so we were able to sit on a couch and watch the flames flickering in the open door of Miss Atlanta, a Vermont Casting, iron stove.
.
Miss Monarch, in the kitchen, kept two tea kettles whistling during the day. This Monarch is identical to the wood cookstove that Bob's grandma (and many other persons), routinely used. (And some of us still do)!
.
So, after supper, cooked on top of, and in the oven of, the wood stove, we sat on the big couch, watching the flickering flames.
.
KAThy with a cup of hot tea, and Bob nursing a cool tub of Chocolate Chip Mint ice cream.
.
And ever so often.....
........we just......
...put another log on the fire.....
We snuggled in, by the fire...
.
Then, Bob went, to do some things ? ? ?
.
KAThy snuggled on the comfy couch, by the wood stove. It had called her to it's side, and she wasn't goin' anywhere. The coals are soooooo warm and glowing. Mmmm, mmmm! Thank you God!
.

& Thursday, January 11, 2007
.
Two quiet days of "home alone."
.
The two wood stoves going continuously, keeping us snuggily warm. :-)
.
Bob working in the Sunrise Room and also songwriting.
.
KAThy e-mailing, phoning, readying bedrooms for guests, etc.
.
Delightful conversations via phone and e-mail, with Robert at POL, Le Roi, and Sean and Sylvia (down in Colombia, South America).
.
We took a walk around the gardening areas and north field, and Bob retrieved several aluminum ladders from deer hunting stands, and brought them back to the house.
.
KAThy took a stroll through the meditation garden, and around the grounds to express gratitude for all that is NOW!
.
Thank you God. I am soooooo very grateful to BE in this Paradise of Peace.

.
We loaded up the stage coach, to head to Madison, WI.
.
Bob went to a dental appointment.
.
Then, we went to meet our two Affordable Travel Club hosts, Pat and Jim at their condominium.
.
They gave us a tour of their beautiful home, and we enjoyed visiting with them.
.
Then, we went to the Mariner's Restaurant for dinner with them. It was a delightful experience to visit with these new mirror-friends, who were a lot of fun, to talk with.
.
Jim experienced a stroke, at age 35 (about 33 years ago), and decided that he had to quit working in a job at that point. So, Pat took on the roll of being the one who worked outside of the home, and Jim stayed home, and did the many things that are helpful to do, there, including raising two small children (one of them a 2 year old.)
.
Jim was blessed to be the house parent, which was a unique roll to hold, at that time.
.
Pat is very articulate, so this fit her very well.
.
This blessed sharing with them was marvelous, because it gave us the opportunity to pause, and really wait to hear what one another was saying. Jim needs time to put his thoughts together into words. Thank you, dear Jim, for this experience of embracing the moment with grace and patience.
.
It also let us see what this blessed gift of being able to communicate with one another truly is.
.
Then, we went back to their house, and visited with Jim and Pat, until fairly late. We sang some of the Bumpity songs, and laughed a lot.
.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Saturday, January 13, 2007
.
We woke up early, to the joyful welcome of Jim and Pat, making breakfast.
.
They decided to make waffles in their new waffle-maker.
.
Bob visited with Jim, while Pat prepared breakfast, and Kathy visited with her.
.
It was fun to talk with Pat, while she cooked waffles al' grande. Mmmm, mmmm! Thank you, Jim and Pat.
.
Bob was repeatedly moved to tears by the sharings with Jim.
.
We met Duncan, at the Manna Restaurant, and sat at the fireplace, sharing about the experience of embracing the miracles of NOW.
.
Then, we went to Rita's for lunch.
Rita has a beautiful house, that is decorated with items from her native country of Eritrea, Africa. Plus, other places.
.
She had Catherine, Duncan, Bob, Kathy,
Emmanuel, Davheed (both from Eritrea also), Julia (from Hawaii), and Rita.
.
It was such a gracious sharing of life's blessings. We were invited to talk about how we met Rita, and our joy in doing that.
.
This was a fantastic sharing, and showed the reasons why we were brought together to share our live's, very openly.
Thank you God.
.
Duncan, Bob, and Kathy went to visit Rafe at the University of Wisconsin hospital, where he is receiving treatments for leukemia. Rafe has done extensive research on the information, about what he might experience with this, amd seems to be handling it, with peace. It was a fantastic opportunity to talk with him today.
.
It had started snowing, so Bob and Kathy headed back to Bumpity Rd.
.
It is nice to be back home, and be holding the light on, for everyONE to come home!
.
Thank you all, for BEing our angels.
.

(ATTACHED IS A LETTER WE MAILED OUT TO THE EIGHT OF US AT RITA'S SATURDAY AFTERNOON DINNER)

.
An appreciation of Eight Angels!
.
Hello to all eight of us!
.
What a delightful group to spend a, Superb Saturday Afternoon, with!
.
Chef Rita, what a glorious banquet to nourish our bodies, while we were nourishing our minds! And such a choice of beverages to banish all thirsts, and for inviting mirroring souls, as caring condiments!
.
Thanks, Catherine, for raising the thought-provoking, and stimulating questions, which you always do, so effortlessly. :-)
.
Duncan, thanks for the time spent in front of the fireplace at Manna's, followed by your warming presence at Rita's.
.
Thank-you, Julia, for all the reminders of why we like Madison so much, my, my, you are so articulate, and enthusiastic, with your continuous smile. :-)
.
Thank-you, David, and Amanuel, for being so open and sharing with all of us, (most of whom you may were meeting for the first time).
.
Thank-you, Kathy, for consistently being the angel you truly are, and, for reminding all others, they they, also, are angels.
.
And thank-you, Bob, for sharing your sense of community with these, your family.

.
On the eve of her Eighty-Eighth (88!) Birthday, we went into Mom Helen's to meet with some of mom's children, grandchildren, and geat grandchildren, to sample birthday cake and ice cream.
.
Deb T made a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry delicious cake called: Better Than Sex Cake.
.
It was verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry delicious!
.
After dessert and chatting, Mom, (sis) Rose and Henry, and brothers Ron and Bob, played ten card games of SheepsHead, which took about 3 hours.
.
It was a hilarious time with laughing every few minutes, all afternoon long!
.
We only took one small break (for additional samplings of cake and ice cream).
.
Sister Rose proved to be the top card-slinger of the afternoon. :-)
.
KAThy had a treat, retreating to shop.
.
When KAThy returned, the chorus of laughter was very fantastic, as she came into the house. This continued on, and she became the one answering the phone, as many called to wish Helen, Happy Birthday!
.
One of the calls came from Kentucky, where Kathy's Mama (Newell) was enJOYing being nestled into the mountains. It was great to have a miracle moment, to share with her, in the middle of all of the merriment!
.

.
The open-to-the-public, Book Discussion Group at the Portage Library, met to discuss "Stickeen," John Muir's "mystical" writing about being on an Alaskan Glacier with the little dog.
.
Hans made an introductory presentation followed by all 12 of us telling dog, and other animal stories.
.
Many personal stories were shared, as well as a multitude of interpretations about Muir's documentation of his personal experience and thoughts.
.
A joy to see Bettina and Joel there, and also their friends, Homer and Patricia.
.
The sharings of the group were interesting, and gave a spark of the inner message within each of us... This message sometimes can be easily inspired, by being with an animal, such as Stickeen.
.
Animals are great friends and mentors, who share love so freely.
.
Before heading back to Bumpity Rd...
Bob and KAThy decided to take this night out on the town to go to Pizza Hut, and share a delightful pizza feast...
.......................................
(We just receive our first generous gift of snow, "perspiring" Bob, to just finish a first draft, playful scribbling of, WONDERFUL WINTER, Sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells."
Go ahead and try singing it?)
.
Winter's here!
Winter's here!
Winter's finally here!
What fun it is to laugh and sing
with winter finally here!
.
Snow is on the ground
my woodpile's hid from sight
My car is surely somewhere near
I parked it here last night.
.
I sweep and shovel snow,
get my tractor out to play
and go plowing down the driveway
laughing all the way.
.
The cold goes to my fingers
and numbs each of my toes.
And I feel just like a reindeer
with my bright red Rudolph nose!
.
Then sitting by my window
my plowing at an end.
The falling snow, seems to let me know
that I can do it all again!
.
How wonderful is Winter
it's such an awesome white.
And when I go to sleep I'll dream,
of shoveling snow all night!
.
Winter's here!
Winter's here!
Winter's finally here!
What fun it is to laugh and sing
with winter finally here!
.

.
Ahhhhhh, more white carpeting of snow, out on the fields of Bumpity Road...
It is sooooooo beautiful, to be blanketed in by warmth of the wood stove, and see this fantastic white, shimmering, outside the windows ...
:-)
.
Bob got up early, and KAThy rested a while.
.
Bob wrote, from his inner wisdom, about sharings that were coming to him.
.
It was great for KAT to take this rest, and come to sing WONDERFUL WINTER, as more snow had fallen, last night!
.
KAThy and Bob talked about the gratitude of sharing together, a joy to always say THANK YOU, by honoring ONE another!
.
Lisa and Peter called, while on their way, to Pathways of Light this week.
.
Then, they are heading to Bumpity, on the weekend...
.
It is a great day to nestle in and appreciate the warm hearth, with which we are so fully blessed! Thank you God!
.
Bob spent about an hour outside, doing chores, and plowing out the driveway and pole barn area.
.
Daily chores include cat food, cat water, burnables, compost, ashes from both woodstoves, toting boxes to the barn for storage, moving both cars to the barn area, a trip to the mailbox, and sweeping and shoveling walkways near the house.
.
Cuzzin' Jerry stopped by, because he was working in the area today, picking up an animal, for the Humane Society.
.
We visited with Jerry, and he shared about some of the people he has met recently, in all of the experiences that he is involved in.
.
He is an angel, to come by and visit, and fix the light in one of our refrigerators.
.
When Bob and Kathy are dining alone, we always have a brief silent prayer and/or meditation, and literally, a meeting of the minds, as we face each other, hold hands, and bring our foreheads together. :-)
.

.
Last night's temperature was down to about 4 degrees, but the inside temperature this morning in the kitchen area was 72.
.
So, off goes the electric baseboard heat, (to avoid weekday, peak, electrical rates). and on goes Miss Monarch.
.
Miss Monarch signals her warm output, when both tea pots begin to sing (both of them are sopranos).
.
Kathy stayed at Bumpity to take care of things on the home hearth, while Bob went into town, to play cards with the card-slingers.
.
It was very helpful for Kathy to have this time to clean and do things at home, before family and friends come to visit, this weekend.
.
Today, Bob, Rose, Henry, and Mom Helen played Sheepshead. Mom was on a roll today, and enjoying the best possible gifts we could give her, love, with lots of laughter!
.

Thursday, January 18, 2007
.
A gentle day of birdwatching, house cleaning and organizing.
.
Bob completerly re-organized the Sunrise Room for the Third Friday, Dream Interpretation Group.
.
Group sitting areas now face the east patio door and bird feeder. And also, a sitting area for a smaller group, to watch the fire in Miss Atlanta's, cast iron radiance of warmth.
.
The exercise bike faces the bird feeder, so now we have a feathered audience, periodically watching us, as we "flutter away" on the bike.
.
Both wood stoves eating all day, requiring constant baskets of food, to keep their "home fires burning."
.
The freezing temperatures outside, contrasted vividly, with the 70's inside.
.
In addition to birdwatching (and exercising), we watched the flickering flames in Miss Atlanta, by leaving her door (and draft) open, allowing us to mingle meditatively, into her warm heart.
.

...tote that wood...lift that chair...
work keeps poppin' up, everywhere...
I gets weary, but I'm still tryin
full of smiles, and far from dying,
while that lucky Old Son
has got nothing to do
but walk beside me, aaaaaaaaaaall day!
.
Several lucious venison roasts, done with red potatoes, yellow onions, orange carrots, and white turnips were prepared by Chef Roberto.
.
Cookin' Kathy made a pot of Mediterranean Vegetable Bean Soup, and a tossed salad.
.
It has been a full day, because we have been a cookin' and cleanin,' and it has been a blessed experience.
.
We had five new angels here for the Dream Interpretation Group.
.
That was a treat, and they brought more goodies, including delicious pasta salad, and chocolate cake, with fabulous frosting.
.
The discussion became very free flowing and open, in sharing our dreams.
.
We had two pairs of mothers and daughters here, who share very openly with one another, and from their hearts. It is a clear showing that people are feeling that the invitation to share what is on your heart is being heard.
.
Thank you so much, and for accepting the invitation to JOY'n with new friends!
.
The dinner conversation was warm and caring and the participation by all eight of us in the Dream Interpretation Group, was interesting, profound, warm, and inspirational.
.
If Bob had to single out one word, to describe the evening, that word would be "Inspirational."
.

.
Saturday, January 20, 2007
.
Ahhhhh, a beautiful snowy day outside of Bumpity Rd., once again.
.
The phone started ringing, and we were up, and taking care of doing helpful things.
.
Kathy went to help a friend, by doing something for her, that she'd asked us to take care of.
.
Lisa and Peter called, as they were getting ready to leave Pathways of Light, to come this way.
.
They said that they'd decided to come to Bumpity Road on Monday and Tuesday, rather than getting here today.
.
Peter and Lisa said that they decided to go to Wisconsin Dells to meet with friends from the Miracles Healing Center, on Saturday night and Sunday. They invited us to meet them at the White Rose Inn, where they decided to stay overnight for two nights. Then, JOY'n them for dinner at the Cheese Factory.
.
Kathy decided to go and meet them. When Kathy got to the hotel, it was fantastic to see Lisa and Peter, and visit with them.
.
They told Kathy about their sharings with Mary and Robert, at Pathways of Light.
It is great to hear about how they are guided to join with Mary and Robert, to be of service there at Pathways.
.
Lisa and Peter are very grateful, excited and delighted about all of this.
.
Then, Peter, Lisa, and Kathy went to the Cheese Factory, to meet Darla, Alden, and others, for dinner.
.
There was a man from Colombia, a woman from France, and another woman from Austria, who joined us for dinner. It was great to talk and share with everyONE about their focus, and delight, in serving Holy Spirit.
.
Elly and her partner, were singing and playing upstairs. Soooo, we went up and sang 60's and 70's music, with them. It was great fun! It is always fantastic to talk, sing and laugh with Elly, Cam, and everyONE. Elly is filled with joy. Thank you soooo much!
.
Kathy extended the Open Door invitation to several people there, who accepted it graciously.
.
Kathy drove home to Bumpity Road, where she found Bob embracing the home fires, in a peaceful manner.
.
Thank you God!
.
It was great for KAThy to share with Bob about the joy filled delight that happened, in going to Wisconsin Dells.
.
Several sent their greetings to Bob. Elly said that she sees him as a wise Soul. Kathy said he definitely is that.
.

Dallying and delighting, in a relaxing day of snowscapes!
.
What a luxury!
.
To dilly and dally (and occasionally eat), warmed by the off-peak, electrical heating rates!
.
(Back to the woodstoves tomorrow)!

Monday, January 22, 2007
.
Bob met his buddy Jim H. at Mom Helen's for a five way card playing shoot-out with sister Rose and Henry.
.
Mom Helen was the top gunslinger for the day, but she was only verrrrrrrrrrrrry slightly quicker on the draw, than a couple of other card-slingers.
.
Kathy welcomed Lisa and Peter, as they arrived at Bumpity Rd., on their journey of Love. They had been to Pathways of Light, and on to the Miracles Healing Center, and home to Bumpity Road. It is always beautiful, to see these shining mirrors of Light!
.
Jim and Bob (who both refer to the other as Jack) joined Peter and Lisa at Bumpity Road for Kathy's double venison roast with "taters, carets, and umyuns." :-)
.
And an unlimited supply of Neopolitan Ice Cream.
.
Susan M. drove up from Mount Horeb to join us for supper, and afterwards, Lisa and Peter hosted ACIM GATHER, live on the internet, from 8 to 10 p.m.
.
Both wood stoves were burning all day, keeping the Kitchen and Sunrise Room, toasty warm all day and night.
.
We now keep the 4, double pronged, marshmallow toasters, permanently on display on the wall in back of the Atlanta wood stove, for toasting marshmallows in the open door of Miss Atlanta. :-)

.
Peter had both wood stoves warming the house this morning, coffee was freshly made, and we chatted with various friends via cell phone.
.
Susan was working on the turkey dressing.
.
Peter and Lisa went on a country walk.
.
The two sopranos are whistling their song of steam from atop the woodstoves.
.
Great for making tea (although you do have to allow a little time for it to cool off to be drinkable). :-)
.
KAThy and Susan seasoned the turkey with LOVing, Luciously Open Voluminously delicious spicy ingredients. The turkey cooked over the afternoon, and the smell filled the kitchen area! Thank you God!
.
Bob and Peter made potatoes, and Lisa mashed them up.
.
Then, Peter made the homemade gravy that his mother taught him to make years ago. Thank you Mom, we really appreciate it!
.
KAThy made two pumpkin pies, which finished cooking, right as we were to eat!
.
Cuzzins' Jerry and Billy JOY'ned us for dinner, and the table was set.
.
EveryONE, all seven of us, came around the Bumpity table of Love, and we shared in gratitude, for all that is.
.
The feast of bounty went on and on and on.
.
Thank you everyONE, for sharing your love, gratitude and thankfulness.

.
We were awakened to the blessing of the Angel warming the house again, as Peter had both cook stoves started when we JOY'ned him, in the celebration of smoke.
.
There was a down draft of air in the stoves that started the smoke.
.
Bob came down and showed everyONE how to clear the air! It was beautiful.
.
Peter made a country breakfast (melted cheesy eggs, and home fries), while Lisa helped him, in various ways.
.
We were all sharing about things that are in our hearts and minds. This truly means, to be AT HOME!
.
We ate the breakfast around the table of Love, and all the food, including scrambled eggs, potatoes and onions, toast, fruit, juices, and coffee and teas, were gone quickly.
.
We talked in a very comfortable way, and everyONE shared gratefully about coming together.
.
Thank you everyONE for coming home!
.
Lisa and Peter packed up, and left to head back to Pennsylvania.
.
Susan, Kathy, and Bob visited for a while. Then, Susan loaded up her car, to go home to Mt. Horeb.
.
Kathy went to meet a woman to look at Mel's house. Then, return back to Bumpity.
.
Bob and Kathy shared the rest of the day, in the peace and quiet of home.
.
Thank you God, for this ONEderful haven, in which to nestle, by the cook stoves.

.
Ahhhhhh, Bumpity Angel Bob started the wood stoves, to the sweet smells coming all through the house again.
.
Then, KAThy came downstairs, and we have another snow and sun covered day, with kitties outside the windows, peering in.
.
Thank you God!

.
What a beautiful day to rest, in the country.
.
Bird watching captured some blessed moments of sharing. It is beautiful to see the cardinals, black capped chickadees, and many others, eat their food on the feeder. They fly, eat, fly, eat and fly, in their glory, of seizing the blessing of life, NOW.
.
We decided to go to Madison for the Spiritual Cinema night, at Paul and Deb's tomorrow night. We called Deb, and talked with her about staying overnight, with the angels of Miracles of Madison.
.
Deb said certainly, to please come on and stay with us.
.
We e-mailed friends, saying that we'll be coming to Madison, and invited them to come and meet us for the Spiritual Cinema movie.
.
We also invited anyone to join us at the Market Square Theater, on Saturday or Sunday, to see a movie.
.
We talked with Peter K. to invite him to join us.
.
Rev. Christine, Happy Woman called, and we talked with her. She and Kathy laughed and laughed and laughed.
.
Sylvia and Sean called, from Colombia.
They just got back from the beaches, and said that it is summer there. Enjoy, you beloved angel birds.
.
Bob and Kathy ate a dinner of whatever leftover you want, and shared, during that time.
.
Thank you God, for this chance to be at home alone together, and communicating about whatever comes up, as we are greatly blessed.

.
We are very happy to go to Madison, and have a day at the movies. Bob and Kathy went to see the movie, Borat.
.
Then, we went to do shopping at the Woodmen's Grocery Store. Woodmen's is a large grocery, which has very reasonable prices on most items.
.
We got many fresh and delicious goodies.
.
One treat included a carrot cake, to take to the Spiritual Cinema night, at Deb and Paul's house.
.
Mmmmmm, mmmmm, it was sooo good.
.
There were a lot of people at Paul and Deb's house, including Duncan, Ken A., Carol S., Bob E. and many new friends that we made too.
.
It is always a treat to share these gatherings in Madison, as Paul and Deb open their door to everyONE, like we do.
.
We watched the Spiritual Cinema movie entitled Cape of Good Hope. It is very inspiring, and we recommend it highly.
.
After the movie, we participated in a discussion about the movie.
.
The movie brought up thoughts of love, BEing treated fairly and equally, comraderie, trust, hope, and peace.
It is a beautiful expression of compassion.
.
It touched Kathy's heart, as a man from Congo, Africa is one of the main characters in the film.
.
His message is one of peace, love, and intergrity. I, Kathy was born in Congo, Africa. The experiences that I have had with the people from Africa are a lot like the expression that he exhibited. That is one of clearly sharing who he is from his heart, and because of living in that authentic manner, being treated in the same way. Thank you God, for this clear display of his character, of love.
.
After the movie, Carol stayed to visit a while. It was good, to talk with her. She is a fireball of energy, and moves around visiting with soooooo many people, in her message of peace and love. Thank you Carol.

.
Chef Pablo prepared a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and other delights.
.
It was great to share with Deb, Paul, and Auty once again.
.
Then, we cleaned up the kitchen, while Paul shared deeply about an experience that he had. This was very helpful to everyONE.
.
Paul, Deb, Bob, and Kathy JOY'ned in the morning service.
.
We opened with a meditation. Then, invited Spirit to bring things up for us to share. It was a mind opening opportunity, in which we all shared what we were feeling.
.
It seemed to bring powerful messages for all of us, in which we shared openly.
.
We are always grateful for a chance to share with One another as mighty witnesses of light, while we are unified, in being brought together for a profound purpose.
.
Thank you Holy Spirit, for making this expression so clearly.

.
Another cold winter morning welcomed us.
.
Bob started Miss Monarch, to warm the home front.
.
Bob called his mom, Helen, about rounding the card angels together.
.
He found Eva, Jim, Helen, and Bob.
.
KAThy went into town also, to run errands.
.
Eva and Bob got to the O.K. Corral first, and KAThy dropped them off.
.
Kathy made her way around town, going various places.
.
She returned to find the card sharks nestled into playing and having fun.
.
Kathy warmed the Mediterranean Bean Soup up, that she made, which is a treat for us. We also brought some whole wheat bread and cheese, to make sandwiches and oyster crackers, to add to the feast.
.
Eva brought a blackberry pie in to share. So, we had a feast.
.
We came back to Bumpity Road soon, and nestled in.
.
Thank you for all the blessings of a warm house to come home to. We are verrrrrrrrrrrry grateful. Thank you God!

.
We were welcomed with phone calls from Boston, from our friend Carol, who is headed this way, to other local calls.
.
Bob came up and read to Kathy, before she arose. It is always a treat, to share this blessing, in the stillness of a winter's morning.
.
Kathy rested more, while Bob came down and started the cookstoves.
.
We JOY'ned to embrace the day together.
.
It is always such a delight, to do this, and be grateful for what is happening NOW.
.
We shared our eternal gratitude for coming together in Holy Relationship.
.
We talked with Peter and Lisa, and shared in their joys of coming here to Wisconsin.
They talked about the experiences of moving from Pennsylvania, to come and BE home in Wisconsin.
.
Kathy made an asparagus quiche, which is tasty. Plus, a delicious salad, from all the fresh veggies that are here, at Bumpity Rd. Thank you God, for the fresh harvest.
.
Kathy did some e-mailing and journaling, while Bob read. Then, Kathy read and shared in the gratitude for BEing at home.
.

Wednesday, January 31, 2007
.
It's another snowy day in the peaceful country home of Bumpity Road.
.
The woodstoves continue to warm the hearth of joy, in which we live and love.
.
We watched the birds come and go from tree to tree, black capped chickadee-dee-dees, nuthatches and slate colored juncoes, were most frequent visitiors today, looking for yet another morsel of food (especially the black sunflower seeds that Bob put in the feeder this morning).
.
We wrote letters of gratitude, about how blessed we are.
.
We did many things which felt helpful, to let life flow easily around here.
.
We had a nice evening around the woodstove, by BEing in each other's presence, while reading and being at Peace.
.
Thank you God, for all of the ONEderful blessings!
