It was a beautiful morning to wake up to, and get a tasty breakfast ready for Joe and Lou.
.
Bob added fresh asparagus and chives to eggs, for a fabulous omelet delight. Mmm, mmm, thank you, Chef Roberto. KAThy mixed fruits, for a fresh treat, and we added toast, juices, and coffee.
.
Then, we visited with Lou and Joe, and they enjoyed watching the birds, and singing songs while watching them.
.
They also appreciated hearing I Know Just What to Do, and Ice Cream Angel, before setting off on their road travels.
.
Thank you for giving us more friends, to share with, in this masterpiece of life.
.
Georgia called, asking if our dream group meets tonight, so we invited her and her husband, Arnie to come over for dinner.
.
Mom Helen called, to ask about coming out to help peel potatoes.
.
Kathy went to pick Helen up, and we peeled and peeled around 12 bags of 5 pound potatoes.
.
Bob was working outside until late afternoon, when he came in to put a venison roast and vegetables in the oven.
.
Georgia and Arnie arrived. Soon after that, we shared the delicious meal.
.
Thank you for having an opportunity to make more friends, whenever it happens at Bumpity Road, and everywhere.

Kathy and Bob wrote the wedding ceremony for Denise and Craig to read and comment on.
.
We went over to Link's Greenhouse to get some green pepper plants.
.
Craig, Denise, and Kyle arrived, and we shared the wedding message with them. They liked it very much.
.
We enjoyed visiting with these three friends very much. Four year old Kyle, went up and sat down in the tractor seat. He was ready to pull the Allis Chalmers tractor out of the barn. We told him that he can do that on another trip to Bumpity Road.
.

Sunday, June 3, 2007
.
We embraced the Sunday service, and JOY'ned in the communication of love, which we shared with each other, and in watching the birds, squirrels, cats, and plants interact, in divine harmony.
.
Aunt Eva called, to say that she was at Helen's, and they are ready to beat Bob, to play cards.
.
We went into town. Bob went to Helen's, and Kathy traveled to Wal-Mart, to have the battery checked in the Saturn.
.
Kathy joined the dynamic trio as they played cards. Then, we enjoyed the venision roast, cooked potatoes, onions, carrots, tossed salad, cherry delight and walnut ice creams. It was delicious.
.
We came back to Bumpity Road, and rested. Then, ate more of the delicious venison and cooked vegetables, with fressssssh tossed salad.
.
Thank you, for all of the fabulous blessings.
.............................
.
June 4th to 7th:
-------------------
It is fantastic to start each beautiful day at Bumpity Road. We wake up, to share coffee and tea, and talk about whatever comes to mind.
.
Then, to watch the birds, from our huge glass windows.
.
Thank you for these fabulous window mirrors through which we look, to see the beauty of all that we are blessed with, all around.
.
Don and Mary stopped by on Tuesday, to visit. It was great to see them, and talk about what is happening for all of us. We really appreciate their openness with us, and taking a few moments to come by.
.
We sent Mary and Don home with some fresh lettuce, radishes, and green onions, for which they were very grateful. They brought us some barbeque sauce.
.
Sylvia and Sean called, to talk and decide when to share the Pathways of Light courses again. It was great to talk with them, as always.
.
Bob went to town, to play cards with Mom Helen, Rose, and Ronnie. The Thompson gang was on a roll. Ronnie was the top slinger, and won the draw many times. Everyone laughed, and had a lot of fun.
.
Bob and Kathy went out to work in the gardens together. Bob cultivated, fertilized, and raked around some squash plants. Then, Kathy watered them.
.
It is always fun to work together.
--------------------
June 8th to 10th:
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
..
We got lettuce, radishes, and onions from the Bumpity Road gardens ready, to take to Susan M., for her celebration, on Sunday.
.
Kathy filled a lot of bottles of Bumpity Road water, because Susan asked for three gallons of our fresh water to enjoy, because she loves Bumpity water, just like we do.
.
We were up early, and loaded up the Bumpity wagon, to go to Mt. Horeb to Susan M.'s party.
.
We got going, and made it there, by around 1:45 p.m. It was a very beautiful drive, on the country roads, of Wisconsin.
.
We helped Susan taste test many goodies of dips and food, to share with everyone. It was very nice.
.
When, we moved out into the backyard, Aurora arrived soon.
.
We had fun visiting, and eating fresh veggies with chips and dip. It was nice, and delicious.
.
We roasted chicken on the grill, and ate some wings, along with breasts. They were juicy and tasty, for sure.
.
It was fantastic to visit and talk with Susan, Aurora, Bob and Ruth, plus Bob and Kathy, at this gathering. Thank you so much, Susan.
.
We left before dark, so that we could get to the ferry before dark. We did make it, and it was fun to take the ride, with about 9 other cars. Bob and Kathy got out of the car, as the ferry went across the river. Wow, such a scenic view!
.
We sauntered on up the road, to the Bumpity part, and turned the lights on, to be AT HOME!
.
It felt good to get home, once again.
.
Thank you, for this opportunity to spend the day with good friends!
-------------------------
.
Monday, June 11 through Tuesday 12, 2007
.
We were up early, because the bell was a ringin'.
.
Annika called, as she is in town, and wanted to see about meeting with us this week, so we set a date with her. It was great, to talk with her.
.
Bob got ready and went outside, to work in the gardens.
.
Kathy stayed inside, and did the inside gardening at Bumpity road, of delicious delights, while Bob was outside.
.
Bob kept working and working, then, came in for a fresh veggie spread of a delicious salad, at one point.
.
Kathy went out, to help with hoeing and assiting Bob, wherever needed. Thank you Bob, for your gardening wizardry.
.
Thank you Bob, for your willingness to keep blessing us all, with the joy of planting and harvesting.
.....................................
.
Wednesday, June 13 through Thursday, June 14, 2007
.
We were up early, to make the date with Annika, in Wisconsin Dells.
.
While waiting for Annika, outside of the Cheese Factory restaurant, in Wisconsin Dells, Elly saw us standing in the parking lot, and stopped to say hello.
.
When Annika arrived, we went to the Cracker Barrel, because the Cheese wasn't open yet.
.
We had a delightful breakfast with Annika. It is always such a joy to talk and embrace the blessing of life's message, with a friend. Annika is one that we cannot see for a year or longer, and come to the table, as if we just saw her yesterday. Thank you, dear Angel.
.
When we were there, we enjoyed sharing with the waitress a lot, so invited her to Bumpity Road. She said: "you'll probably see me there."
.
The Bumpity Wagon headed over the road, to Madison, for Bob to go to an eye appointment.
.
We went to the Market Square Theatre, to see an excellent film, "Miss Potter." It is about the life of Miss Potter, who wrote Peter Rabbit and other classical children's stories. It is a beautiful description, of her life, and how she dealt with living in a family, who expected her to meet and marry a rich young man. All of the men that she was introduced to, by her family, didn't have the spark that called to her heart.
.
When she met a young man from the publishing company for her books, they hit it off fantastically, and things progressed beautifully. I won't tell you anymore, so that you can be embraced in the charm with which this movie shows about how Miss Potter followed her inner voice, to guide her in life.
.
We went to Marv and Rosann's house, our travel club host's, to meet them. They were very nice, and friendly.
We all shared about experiences that we've embraced in life, which have made life unique, for everyone.
.
They went out, for the evening, so Bob and Kathy went to see another movie, of "Shooter."
.
We went back over to Rosann and Marv's house, and visited with them. It is always fascinating, to meet new friends, and see what kinds of interesting joys, we've all taken part in.
.
We were up early, for breakfast with Marv and Rosann. We had: "Ziploc Omelets." They are delicious, and easy. Let Kathy know if you'd like the recipe, and she can send it to you.
.
We had a fantastic meal, then took a walk with Rosann and Marv, around the area, where they live in a condominium community. It was very inviting and beautiful.
.
They included a little tour, of the gardens that residents have there. That was very interesting.
.
On the way back to their condo, we met an interesting couple, who had a plant of Lovage, growing outside. We asked them what it is, and they told us about it. Lovage is a kind of celery, and can be used like celery. We took a leaf taste of it, and it does taste like celery.
.
When we got back to Marv and Rosann's, we loaded up the Bumpity mobil, and started on our journey, to see our dear friend, Jim H. or alias. Jack.
.
Jim has a fantastic house which he started, by having a mobile home on the lot. Then built the present home, in sections. Jim has it all organized very neatly and fabulously. We really enjoyed spending the day there, with Jim.
.
When we were ready to leave, we asked Jim, if we could pick some spinach, which he has plenty of, and he said, "Certainly," so we did.
.
We went to Jim's A Course in Miracles group, at Richland Center. The group was absolutely warm, loving, and very welcoming. Thank you, Angels!
.
We extended many invitations to Bumpity Road there. Thank you so much, for the invitation, Jim.
.
On our way home, Bob''s mom, Helen called to tell us that a garage sale of goodies, was going to happen at her house, the next morning, if we wanted to come by early. We asked to stop by that night, because we were going right by there.
.
There were all kinds of nice items available, for the sale. So, we loaded up the car, to the brim.
.
Helen was laughing and happy, so that was great to see.
..................................
Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17, 2007
.
Leroi came over, to visit, and help us in the gardens. It is always fun, to share with him.
.
Bob and Leroi put up wire fences, for beans and tomatoes to grow on. It was very hot, so was quite a sweat lodge, for everyone.
.
Leroi, Bob and Kathy made quite a team watering the gardens, and blessing many, with their growing juices.
.
We ate a fresh and delicious meal of salad and fresh veggies.
.
The next morning, Leroi and Bob put more fencing up.
.
Kathy went to run an errand for a friend.
.
Our friend, Barb W. stopped to visit with us, and we talked all day.
.
We got the tractor and wagon out, to water and ride all around the gardens. Barb said that it felt so good, to be here.
.
We all shared a fresh tuna salad, which included tuna, sprouts, green onions, radishes, mayonaisse, and spices. Mmmmm, mmm, such a delicious delight.
.
Thank you Barb, for coming home.
.
The next morning, we shared the meditation service.
.
Bob went into Portage, to play cards with Aunt Eva and his mom, Helen. They had a lot of fun.
.
Kathy stayed at Bumpity to clean, and wash clothes. It was great, to be able to get these things done.
.
When Bob returned, he and Kathy were doing many more cleaning errands. This included cleaning the Saturn, which has been making a calling for a cleanin', for a while.
.
Bob was doing some cleaning, in the barn, and making a ramp in the house, to make it comfortable for everyone to walk up the step, into the kitchen.
.
We had a fabulous dinner, of more tuna salad and fresh green onions. Thank you, for these delicious treats.
.
We are very grateful, for the harvest of fresh blessings.
.
............................
Monday, June 18, 2007
.
Kathy shared Pathways of Light lessons, with angels, Sean and Sylvia. Thank you both, for letting Holy Spirit bring the message of your hearts, clearly through.
.
You are both such a joy to JOY'n with!
.
Kathy and Bob were sharing a treat, when Cuzzin' Jerry stopped by. We knew he was here when we saw his dog, Grumble, outside of the house.
.
Jerry did some things, to help the tractor run easier. Thank you, Angel Jer.
.
Jerry came in and had some Chicken Noodle, and vegetable soup.
.
Kathy cleaned, inside of Bumpity Road, while Bob went outside, gardening again.
.
We both got quite a bit done, and Bob only let being drenched in rain, bring him inside. Thank you, Angel.
.
Kathy and Bob have spent the evening inside, and are very grateful for that.
----------------------------------
.
Tuesday, June 19th:
.
Today was a day of cleaning, and getting the blessing of Bumpity Road ready for a celebration with Dan CeCe, Gems, and Mike for dinner.
.
Dan and CeCe are the ones who actually hosted Kathy and David H., the night before Kathy first came to Bumpity Road, and she and Bob met in person. Because of how CeCe and Dan live in relationship with each other, and this first meeting, they are symbolic messengers of holy union for Kathy and Bob. So, thank you CeCe and Dan!
.
Mike is also the one who hosted David H. and Kathy, in Wisconsin Dells, to stay in his home, after those gatherings, when Bob and Kathy first met. Our meeting now, is the first time that Bob and Kathy met Gems, Mike's wife, who we'd heard so much about, for several years.
.
Gems arrived here from the Phillipines, and she and Mike were married a week ago, with Dan and CeCe, as their witnesses.
.
It is blessed, how everything comes together.
.
So, after getting things cleaned and ready, Bob started slow cooking venison and rice, for the feast. Plus, Bob cleaned fresh green onions and radishes.
.
Then, Kathy started washing lettuce and spinach, for the salad of fresh delights.
.
Kathy also made Sun Tea with catnip, mint, orange spice, and lemon twist teas.
She filled the pitcher, and let it sit outside, in the bright sun for around two hours, and poof, it was done. Kathy loves these easy blessings, that are done so easily. That is great.
.
We were finishing things up for dinner, and the car of friends rolled in. Bob and Kathy went out to sing the song of welcome. They got out of the car, and were smiling, with delight.
.
It was great to say hello, and share hugs, and meet Gems.
.
It was fantastic. Dan and CeCe brought a delicious pasta vegetable dish, which tasted fantastic. Thank you CeCe and Dan.
.
We put out the venison, salad, steamed vegetables, and rice, along with the beautiful contribution, of the veggie pasta dish.
.
Everyone found a place to eat, around the table of plenty, and we ate all of the delectable treats. This is very symbolic, of coming together to share in the land of plenty of blessings. Thank you God!
.
When we finished the meal, we offered ice cream and cookies to everyone, which they gratefully accepted.
.
Gems was a gem, in offering to clean up the dishes, which she did very willingly.
Thank you so much, Gems.
.
We took a walk around Bumpity, showing everyone the gardens. It is always great, to share these fabulous blessings.
.
We came in and visited, and sang:
"I Know Just What To Do." They all enjoyed that.
.
Thank you for coming to JOY'n with us!

Wednesday, June 20, 2007
.
Bob and Kathy decided to go to Portage, to meet with his class of '53, to have breakfast.
.
So, we rounded up the buggy, and went to town.
.
We arrived at the restaurant, and really enjoyed visiting with everyone. Kathy and Bob decided to sit with other people, than each other. That was interesting, and fun, to talk with and get to know more people better. They are a group of people, who are open to talking about a variety of subjects.
.
We enjoyed the evening, with bird watching, dinner, and a quiet night of rest.
.
We are very grateful, and can't express how this feels with words, so what we can say, is that it abounds from the depths and heights of our hearts.

.
Thursday, June 21, 2007
.
It was another beautiful day, to embrace the blessings of all that is!
.
Bob went to town to meet his brother, Ronnie, at Pizza Hut for lunch, before the card slinging fun at his mother, Helen's.
.
During the card round, they all played with Bob's sister, Rose. They all had a lot of fun laughing, playing, and going round and round, together.
.
Kathy stayed home at Bumpity, to do many things that called for attention, at home.
.
Bob got home and we were talking, when Barb W. came over to help us load up the wagon, for watering the gardens.
.
Woo hoo, we had Kathy driving the tractor, for the first time, Barb filling water pails, from the large metal drums, and Bob taking them to water the plants. It worked out great, and we kept it going smoothly and easily. Thank you God!
.
We came in, and Kathy got a meal ready, of fresh spinach from the Bumpity fields and from Jim H.'s garden. Mmmm, mmmm, good!
.
We also had a delicious pasta dish, and venison and rice. It was all very good.
.
----------------------------------
.
Friday, June 22, 2007
.
The bell came ringing, from the Angel Sylvia, so Kathy was up, to share a Pathways of Light lesson with her.
.
It is always sacred, to do this.
.
Thank you, Sylvia.
.
The day flowed on, with a lot of rest for Bob, who wasn't feeling well.
.
Kathy took care of doing things that needed to be done, around the house.
.
Bob got up for a while, and enjoyed reading and BEing grateful, to be able to be at home and take it easy.
.
-------------------------------
.
Saturday, June 23, 2007
.
We rested in, until late morning. It is always nice, to do this.
.
Kathy went downstairs to do some things, while Bob was resting, once again.
.
Leroi stopped by, while on one of his bike rides, from Wisconsin Dells. It was good, to talk and chat with him for a little while.
.
Then, Leroi went for another ride, and came back.
.
Kathy was cleaning, e-mailing, and checking new recipes, and talking with people by phone.
.
Bob continued to rest, and it is another quiet day, at Bumpity Road.
......................................
.
Sunday, June 24, 2007
.
We awakened to being more restful, because Bob was still feeling like that was the most helpful thing for him to do. Kathy simply felt like that was the activity which called to her heart, also.
.
We shared the meditation service, which was very warming and peaceful.
.
Then, continued on our day of rest.
.
Thank you God, for this quiet and peace filled oasis, in which to be still !!!!!!!!!!
.
We got a few calls, asking how Bob is doing. Kathy told them that he is resting, and staying out of the sun. They were glad hear that, for sure!
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
.
Monday, June 25, 2007
.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
.
Hallejuah! Bob is feeling better, and ready to go outside and play in the gardens.
.
We are very grateful!
.
Bob and Kathy decided to share together, with working in the gardens for a while, then taking breaks. It went very smoothly and beautifully, because Kathy kept reminding Bob about the breaks, and he was very willing to take them.
.
This helped the garden activities go easily, and we got a lot done.
.
Kathy was weeding and picking lettuce, and Bob weeded, picked and watered onions, squash, tomatoes,
.
Thank you God for guiding us through the day.
.
When we were done for the day, we picked lettuce, zucchini, onions, kale, mint, and parsley.
.
We came in to eat pasta, green beans, potatoes, spinach, onions, kale, mint, parsley. Mmmmm, it is all soooooo delicious and fresh, thank you God!
.
The last of the accumulated rain water, (off our East Roof into two cattle tank containers, storing 400 gallons), was hauled out on the hay wagons to gardens # 1, 2, 3. 4, 5, and 10.
.
Four hundred gallons of water (3,200 pounds), waters lots and lots of plants.
.
(It only takes 3/4 of an inch of rain to fill all our water storage tanks to overflowing).
.
A pair of bluebirds have been eyeballing us from the chair on the East Patio, for several days.
.
The Male Bluebird sees its reflection in the window and keeps pecking at the window, trying to get his mirror image to leave.   :-)
.

Tuesday, June 26, 2007
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
.
Late morning, and late afternoon stints in the gardens, cultivating, pulling weeds, hoeing, picking zuchinni, and taking a long break at midday.
.
A woodchuck is sampling our beet and turnip plants.
.
And all of our broccoli plants.
.
And is also now, into eating Bob's Pet
Watermelon Plants.
.
Anticipating this crop damage, Bob has overplanted.
.
The three questions are:
1. How many woodchucks are there?
    One summer, Bob live-trapped and
relocated, 12 woodchucks, catching 11     of them in the woodshed!
2. How hungry are the wood chucks for
veggies, as compared to other plants?
3. Has Bob overplanted enough?
.
The daily serenades by cardinals, cranes and crows continues, with additions from the mourning doves (such a beautiful sound), and the Bob White Quail, which is a very familiar sound from Bob's childhood on his maternal grandparents farm.
.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Wednesday, June 27, 2007
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
.
In addition to the chorus of frogs serenading us last night, through our open bedroom window, a Whip-Poor-Will was also singing its heart out.
.
Bob once timed a Whip-Poor-Will saying its name, 60 times, in one minute!
.
Early morning and late afternoon gardening, worked out very well today.
.
Shopping and visits, took us into Portage for the 3 1/2 hottest hours of the day.
.
We also left 14 freshly picked zuchinnis, at the Episcopal Church Food Pantry, which has had quite an effective community operation, staffed by volunteers, for many years now!
.
Our bird watching today, ended with a pre-sunset, velvety gray catbird, dancing along under our southern windows, with a big mouthful of food for its youngsters!
.
A visiting highlight today, was a long chat with Mom Helen, in which Mom did a lot of sharing about a jillion things!
.
It was fun!
.
And interesting!
.
Yay Mom!
.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Thursday, June 28 through Saturday, June 30, 2007
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
.
Thursday and Friday were beautiful days at Bumpity Road, starting with Bob and Kathy rising, to share love and insights over cups of coffee and tea.
.
Then, out to the Green Acres, of the rows and rows of fresh goodies.
.
It is such fun to get up early, before the hot sun, and lovingly weed, fertilize, and water the plants.
.
On and on we go, picking, pickin', pickin'!
.
It is fantastic, as Kathy picked fresh wild mulberries, from the trees by the barn. Wow, they are sooooooo mouth wateringly delicious!
.
Bob drove the tractor all around, to lovingly weed and clear the rows of the gardens, from our blessed wild vines of beautiful greens.
.
Kathy talked with Sylvia, to share the lesson of embracing one's Inner Wisdom.
It was a great opportunity to talk and welcome the love through this happy sister of love!
.
