Sunday, 6-1-08 . Today is a beautiful day, so Bob is ready to embrace all that is NOW. . Kathy got a call, from our friend Marilyn K., from Chilton, in northeastern Wisconsin, who called about having us come to visit her and Jerry this week. So, we are set to do that. . Kathy came and JOY'ned with Bob, to share the meditation service. . It was great, to share from the heart, about all of the blessings! . Mary M. called, and said that she's on her way to see her sister, and feels guided to stop by. . Randy and Louise called from Florida, and we talked with them, from the sunny southern coasts. Louise again stated that she wishes to come up here and live with us. Louise's needs, which now require a lot of care, have now placed her in an assisted living home in Florida, so her recent two week vacation with us here was probably, her last, vacation "get-a-way," to Wisconsin. . We also talked with mama Newell, and enJOYed chatting with her. She is stabilizing more and more. . Bob and Kathy went to Kirby's, to pick up the white Saturn dove. Thank you Kirby, for giving us your car information. We appreciate it so much. . We stopped by Karen, Wes, and Marcus' house. Marcus said that he'd come by to help Bob move some huge rocks. . Mary M. came to Bumpity to visit, while driving to her sister's house. She brought some squash and pumpkin soups, both of them were delicious, and it was great to visit with Mary too. . Bob went back out to the gardens. He gardened all around, and gave so many nourishing blessings. Thank you God, for this honor. The stream near the house continues to sing over the stones, just babbling away continuously. :-) And for the present, at least, we have an endless supply of water for the gardens. (and like our recent song says:) Our cup is ever filling, from Our Overflowing Love! :::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, 6-2-08 Kathy talked with Sylvia, to share the Pathways of Light lesson, Star Child. Thank you for embracing the innocence of the child withIN, sweet Angel, NOW. . Bob went out to nurture the gardens. . Kathy cleaned things in the Bumpity house, of peace. . Marcus came to move large stones outside with his Bobcat machine. This is a job that Bob has wanted to do for 40 years, so we thank you Marcus, for helping us complete that. . This was hard labor, as nearly every stone had to be pushed into the big bucket of the front end loader. There were 13 of them, the largest weighing perhaps 600 pounds. Bob tutored Marcus 3 times a week, in spelling and reading English for about 6 months when Marcus was in 7th grade. And next Saturday, we will be attending Marcus' High School Graduation party! Marcus reminds Bob very much of himself, in many, many, ways. :-) We shared root beer floats with Marcus to express our gratitude, and celebrate his graduation from high school, and gave him his graduation present, a little early. :-) . Kathy helped Bob with raking dry grass to add to the wood chips, that are in the herb garden. . After the raking, Kathy spread the grass over the wood chips, which mulch the herb garden. . Thank you for these blessed and delicious herbs. . Loretta and Melissa came over, and Kathy went in to visit with them and watched the video by W. Brugh Joy, entitled: Healing and the Unconscious. . This talks about embracing the experience, of various thoughts in the mind, and look at them, to see what makes one happy. He invites you to look at what seem to be various ways of looking at thoughts, and how dreams effect ideas that come to mind, also. . Then we shared a delicious meal (Bob made mini-pizzas, using Nature's Bakery Pita Bread for the crust), with Melissa and Loretta, then visited with them for a while. It was great to talk with them, and sing "Your Overflowing Love." Thank you for coming home, to share your experiences of Love and Peace. We are grateful. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Tuesday, 6-3-08 It was a beaYOUtiful day to embrace the blessings! . Kathy talked with Sylvia, to share in the grace of the day, and JOY'n in Love! Thank you, sweet Angel! . Bob was outside working in the fields of plenty, when Liberty, Cindy and Sue came by to visit! . It was great, to talk and laugh with them. . Bob and Kathy ate together, and we JOY'ned in peace and fun, to experience the Overflowing Love, which is all around. . Thank you God! . Bob has acquired an additinal outside friend. One of the Brown Headed Cowbirds is extremely reluctant to leave the east patio feeding area when Bob walks by, and sometimes, does not leave at all. Looks like the "scarecrow" does not work anymore. :-) . That's because the Angel walked by, thank you Love! :-) ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Wednesday, 6-4-08 Kathy shared with Deb and friends, to embrace the Holy Spirit's guidance, in doing the Practical Application Series course, of Fulfilling Your Function. This was the last week to complete that course, so thank you Angels! . This has been another excellent way to look at the thoughts which come to mind, for me, in every experience. Thank you God! . Bob went outside, to do what he was guided to, in cultivating the gardens, which are a symbol of asking the love to pour forth from withIN. . Thank you Angel! . Kathy was inside, to go through e-mails, and other things, which needed attention. Thank you, Holy Spirit for this opportunity. . Bob came in, and Kathy prepared a fresh deLight lunch. This included smashed potatoes and sauteed onions, in addition to fresh spinach, kale, green onions, chives, and radishes. The fresh veggies are all deliciously fabulous, from the Bumpity gardens! Thank you Holy Spirit, for blessing us with the abundance of a delicious green bouquet! . Bob went back outside, when he brought in more kale and spinach for dinner, plus cabbage. So, Kathy had to spend a while cleaning it. This gives the blessing, of clearing the mind, to do what makes one happy. Thank you, for this honor, and the angel nourishing and clearing the fields, for that to happen. . We are very grateful! Lots of basil, eggplant, bell peppers, melons, squash, and over 100 tomato plants, are all showing growth. Most of our meals now include several kinds of radishes and green onions. Not only tasty, but very attractive foods. . Golly! . Talk about living "high off the vine!" ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Thursday, 6-5-08 Bob cleaned out 3 rows of many varieties of radishes in Garden #3, (about 240 feet of radishes), which, with their greens, filled 5, five gallon buckets! (Fortunately, chilled radishes keep their crispiness for several months.) . The mulching in Kathy's herb garden has really payed off with attractive, thriving, tasty plants. . Planting, fertilizing, watering, germination, weeding, mulching, tilling, hilling, harvesting, these are the 9 areas of work, that we draw from when we consider setting our priorities, our "to do list" for the day. . Bob is outside most of the weekdays, working till dark, or near dark. . Our meals this week have included different varieties of homegrown onions, radishes, and kales, as well as Chinese and Savoy, Cabbage leafs, and spinach. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Friday, 6-6-08 Bob and Kathy were up early sorting out the white and red succulent radishes, to add to our tasty salads. . We spent a while cutting the greens off of them, and putting them out to dry, on the picnic table. . Then, Kathy was able to retreive a few pails of radishes greens, to add as an additional twist to the fresh salads, which she savors and appreciates. . A fresh salad is a fabulous treat to Kathy. Thank you God, for embracing us in the fresh bounty of gardens! . Bob was out in the gardens all day, blessing them with his Love of nourishing them! Thank you Love! Bob cleaned out the inside of the outside chimney (climbing up onto three different levels of roofs, of the Sunset Room, West Wing, and Main House.), using a long rope and a chain. The very windy day led to a day of absolutely no mosquitos, so the two BobKats sat in comfy chairs and watched the grass grow on the west side of the house. After a while, we moved our chairs to the east patio, and continued watching the grass grow on the shady, east side of the house. Then Bob watered several gardens, including many bell pepper, tomato, eggplant, kale, and basil transplants, etc,, as well as watermelons and winter squashes, etc. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Saturday, 6-7-08 Bob's morning habit is to drink coffee while watching the birds come to the feeders on the east patio. . This is a great way to start the day off at a very slow pace (which does pick up, and then last, usually, until dark). :-) . Kathy JOY'ned Bob, to embrace the day, while it is enriched by sooooooooooo much greenery and beauty everywhere. . Bob was up on the roof, cleaning out the gutters, to find more treasures there. He cleared and cleared, and poof, the leaves and stuff were gone. . Bob and Kathy ate brunches of shakes and eggs. . Then, we went back outside, to do more raking and mulching. . While I (Kathy) was working out there, we got a call from Leroi saying that there was a tornado warning for the Wisconsin Dells area, that was headed our way. . Then, Loretta called, to share the same thoughts, and that they'd see what happens, and decide what they'd do, about coming out for dinner. I told her to keep us posted. . When they called, Kathy was raking dirt and grass behind the house. So, I finished the raking soon, and came around to the herb garden, and laid the raked grass as mulch, onto the herb garden. . Thank you God, for this blessing of everything coming together, to do this. . I called Bob to tell him, about the potential winds coming through, as he was working, in another field. . Bob came in the house, right before the rain started flowing like a river, on the side of the house. It is very beautiful to see it going along. . Our cup runneth over! . Bob went outside, and took a shower, while the rain was pouring down. Wooowee, it was cold, and refreshing! . When the rain had slowed down, Bob walked up to see the driveway. . Kathy and Bob watched the rain come down, as it lullabied us to sleep too. . Loretta and Mike came over, with chicken wings, ice cream and root beer. . The wings, from Norm's Speedway, where Loretta works, were very delicious! Thank you, Loretta and Mike. . Then, we topped them off, with root beer floats! Mmmm, mmmm, good! Thank you Angels. We are very grateful. . When they left, Bob and Kathy decided to rest, as the rain and winds continued to blow. Thank you God, for holding us tight. We are sooooooooo blessed. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Sunday, June 8, 2008 It was a new day, to embrace the blessings of Holy Spirit. . Kathy and Bob went to Madison for a deck party at Cheri's house. . The rain kept the party from being held on the deck, and we are very grateful for the friends that we already knew, and made at the party. . Thank you everyONE. Donna and Sarah are two new friends that we made, who said that they've decided to go to Montana, for the gathering of friends there. They are very excited about that! Kathy enJOYed talking with them, and inviting them to come to Bumpity Road, whenever they're guided to. . We visited with them, and many more people. Before we left, friends that we talked with included Cheri, Dolly, Donna, Sarah, Catherine, Duncan, Sheli, and many many more. We JOY'ned with so many, once again, and made new ones also. . Bob and Kathy went to Mary and Don's house, and ate dinner with them, and it was fun, to do that. . We always treasure these times with them so very much. . Mary, Kathy, and Bob watched a video together, and talked about it's purpose, for us. It was another time of profound sharing for us. . We went back up to JOY'n with Don, and have some dessert, and additional deep sharing, for which we were very grateful. . Then, we were blessed to stay overnight with them, in their beautiful home. Thank you, Angels. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Monday, June 9, 2008 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Bob and Kathy were up to share breakfast with Mary and Don, and visit with them. The food was delicious, while BEing adorned with fresh fruit and delicious cereals and yogurt. . When we were getting ready to eat, Brenda called, to say that she was on her way, from Kiel, WI. So, that was good to hear. . Kathy and Bob drove home, and came down the Bumpity Road. . Bob went back into town, to run errands. . Brenda arrived, and she and Kathy visited extensively. It is always fantastic, to share with one, who is truly letting Holy Spirit guide them. . Bob got home, and we ate a dinner of fabulous pizza, covered with tomato sauce, plus veggies and herbs, from the Bumpity Road gardens. Thank you Angel Bob, for preparing the pizza. We also shared a fresh platter of veggies to eat, which Kathy prepared. Plus, a delicious rhubarb pie, with whipped cream, and some fabulous additional meat treats, from Grandma Helen. . We continued to visit, and talked with Randy and Barbara K. over the phone, and JOY'ned with them. Thank you God, for everything! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: June 10 to June 30, 2008: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Our land telephone line, which carries our computer dial-up, was not working for several weeks. Three and a half feet of driveway washed away in the flood, exposing underground telephone cables in the driveway! . Talked to Township and County Officials, and so far, have done most of the repairs ourselves, or with neighbors. . We officiated at Linda and Darryl's wedding in Wyocena Township, 15 miles from here, and met many new friends. . Next week we went to a Columbia County Master Gardener Meeting and Home Tour in Pardeeville, and later, discovered fantastic pizza at Dominick's in Pardeeville. . Two nights later we were back for another pizza! . Late in the month we went to Deb and Paul's Spiritual Cinema Night to watch the documentary, Peace Pilgrim, and the documentary, One. . We finally let our trusty "86 Caddy go the boneyard, replacing it with a burgundy '98 Saturn, and the first ten full tanks of gas in the "98 Saturn, averaged out to 37.75+ miles Per Gallon! . Highway driving, under 60 M.P.H., we had two incredible tanks of 41 and 41.5 miles per gallon! . Parts of some gardens got washed out, but we still have lots of foods, early spinach, yellow and red lettuce, red and white onions, 4 varieties of kale, lots of garlics, and lots and lots of red and white radishes. . And so June ended with our driveway, still impassible, with 3 1/2 foot holes in it, where it was washed away by the flood! . So, we have been parking at the pole barn up by the road, and walking in. . But.......we didn't have to water any of our plants! :-) |
