Bob and Kathy
We checked out of El Hotel Rio, pleased to note that they had not billed us for the four nights of serenading.
We found all the staff members very friendly and helpful.
We packed up and headed for the hills to Tom and Betty's to spend our last three nights with them, high above the city of Puerto Vallartas.
From the street curb, to their door, is i40 steps uphill. Talk about a view!
It was very similar to the first morning at Don and Mary's.
The view was better than picture postcard perfect.
The air actually seemed to have a soothing texture that was enjoyably inhaled.
The view was enchanting, and I remained enchanted, and was frequently moved to speechlessness.
Late that afternoon, we had the opportunity to see that other great view, again, when Don and Mary invited Tom and Betty, and Kathy and Bob, to dinner to meet four of their friends.
We brought loaves of bread and garlic butter to go with the char broiled veggies, sausage, fish, shrimp, etc.
The four new friends were Bill (a trumpet expert) and Vickie, from Chicago, and Sue and Mary, fellow Wisconsinites.
It is not an easy thing to walk away from an oceanic view that stretches out into eternity.
But......we did.
Dinner was very good, with the ten of us seated at two tables.
Great conversation took place throughout the meal and afterwads.
Chef Bill had done an outstanding job at the grill.
Later, we four easily hiked several blocks DOWNHILL, to catch a bus back to Tom and Betty's, near the downtown area.
Total price for four passengers?
Two dollars, Norte Americano.

Bob and KATHY
Bob went to town and brought back a roast chicken and the works for the four of us ($9).
Later that evening we went back to Machi's BarBQ, where Bob did justice to a verrrrrrrry thick porkchop, and Kathy did the scrumptious pepper steak.
Afterwards, Don, Tom, and Bob, went to see the movie "Munich," which Bob, with his difficulties in hearing, could understand more of, because of the Spanish subtitles.

Bob and Kathy
After breakfast, Bob went house hunting with Tom.
A manager picked us up and took us up to a very, very high hill, to see a condo.
The price was good, 600 to 700 USA dollars per month, with a 6 month to one year lease.
But it was difficult to get to without any nearby bus service, so a car would be mandatory, unless ou really liked to walk very, very much.
And much of that walking, uphill.
Bob had found Dentist Marta's lunch cook, so Bob ordered three containers of enchiladas, and four of rice and vegetbles, for our afternoon lunch.
After a relaxing afternoon, Tom and Betty, and Kathy and Bob, joined Don and Mary, Sue and Ellen, at a special seafood restaurant.
We sat at two tables and lively conversations were enjoyed by all.
Later Kathy and Bob went shopping and spent the last of their Mexican Pesos and then returned to the ocean front for their last night on the "malecon."
This last night on the boardwalk for us, seemed to have a carnival like atmosphere, as the venders, artists, and entertainers, all seemed to be, not only enjoying themselves, but also, very much appreciated.
Slowly, we ambled to the outskirts of the downtown area, and then made the slow climb, high up, to our eagles' nest.

The last of the bags are by the door.
A leisurely breakfast has also been enjoyed.
The four of us carried our bags down the many flights of steps, and then Kathy and Bob boarded a cab for the Puerto Vallarta Airport.
It was pognant leaving friends whom we felt were family.
That was one of the thngs we took with us from our two weeks in Puerto Vallarta, a very strong sense of family with our friends and also, with our new acquaintances.
The indescribably beautiful scenery, and friendly people of all ages, from all over the world, made the whole adventure, inspirational.
We flew on a twin engine plane to Guadalajara, and then transferred and flew to Atlanta n the United States of Georgia, and then, another flight to OHare Field in Chicago.
Our baggage was delayed, so we took a cab to Gary and Edna's, who were both still up when we arrived about midnight.
We were grateful for the milder winter weather upon arriving back in Chicago.
(Especially since Bob was only wearing a t-shirt.)

Bob and KAthy
After breakfast with Gary and Edna and the five grandchildren, we checked with the airlines who let us know that our baggage was being loaded for delivery to our door.
So we spent a restful Sunday afternoon, waiting for our bags to show up, and when they finally did, it was like seeing four long lost, old friends.
We then drove to Madison and then Middleton to spend a great evening with Duncan, catching up on... oh so much!
We had a very long chat, and then we conked out.
Bob was half asleep, before he got into bed!

Bob and Kathy
Catherine joined Duncan and us for breakfast at Perkins Restaurant on University Ave., where we had a lively and warm conversation over a long breakfast.
Then Bob and Kathy left for The Veterans' Administration Hospiral where Bob had appointments in physical therapy (for a damaged knee), blod work, and a doctor's appointment.
Everything turned out well, and we were home before dark.
The wood stove in the Sunrise Room welcomed us with a burst of heat as soon as we opoened the door, thanks to our house sitter Barbara W.
Leisurely unloading the car, we began slowly checking e-mails (Bob had 77), snail mail, and phone messages.
We even "jointly balanced the books" and found everything, pretty much as we expected.
It was a pleasant, easygoing homecoming, in which we, unexpectedly, accomplished a great deal before we turned in for the night.

Bob and Kathy
We got both wood stoves going in the kitchen and in the Sunrise Room.
At a leisurely pace, we continued to unpack, do laundry, prepare meals, and do some periodic birdwatching.
Barb W. stopped by in the afternoon for a long chat.
Barb had a dinner here for a large Amish group of her friends, and also had had my mom and others out several times to play cards.
So Bumpity Road continued to have visitiors while we were gone.
That pleases us.
Kathy finished the evening in the kitchen, while Bob moved and restacked two rows of firewood in the Sunrise Room to make room for dancing.

Bob and Kathy
Kathy caught up on all her e-mail, while Bob did all outside chores and began cleaning and rearranging the Sunrise Room.
We started out the morning with a To Do List, and are pleased to find that we are only one item short of finishing the whole list.
So.....that will be on tomorrow's list.
In the meantime, today, we also caught up with several weeks of Open Door Journal entries for the past few weeks.
Yippee!

Bob and Kathy
Two wood stoves burning, required continual feedings.
A quiet day of inside work followed by a visit to Bob's mom, at the hospital in Portage.
Mom seems to have reached a point where she can no longer walk by herself, which presents difficulties in getting out of bed, going to the bathroom, and to the kitchen.
Tonight, she was in the best of spirits.
Apparently, her increased pain medication has brought her a great deal more comfort and ease, than she has had in weeks.
Tomorrow they do Cat Scans in an attempt to find out why she is having so much pain and is unable to walk.
It was a delight to see her with no noticeable discomfort, tonight.

Bob and Kathy
Mary and Phil stopped by for supper after Mary had finished her day's work at Jung Seeds, a large mail order operation, based in Randolph, Wisconsin.
Dinner was sliced venison sauteed with onions (special ingredient, coarse black pepper), flavored rice, green beans, browned biscuts, and lemon cookies.
After dinner conversation turned to gardening, our trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mejico, and Phill's solar heating projects to use the sun to heat his hot water for his house.
Then, into the Sunrise Room, where we did our Quaker type service, after a brief centering and relaxing, shared reading, and a mindful releasing into peace and quiet.
Discussion after the service, as always, was much more animated that the service itself, which was relatively "quiet."

Bob and Kathy
After packing and loading the car, we visited my mom at the Portage Hospital, and chatted with my sisters Rose and Ruth, who were exiting as we arrived.
Mom is tired and frustrated with her current lack of ability to walk, and thus take care of herself.
She is hoping for some form of home health care, with supplemtary volunteer care help from her four children, and several grandchildren, who live in the area.
All have already been of help in many, many ways, for years already.
We then drove to Libertyville, Illinois for grandson Lucas' 10th birthday party.
A presentation by his mom, and a group balloon release, commemorated the life of Lucas' twin sister Kayla Marie, who died when she was one year old.
Great food, fun, sharings, and laughter.
And Leo, an incredible professional magician, who filled young and old with awe and wonder, at his many truly unvbelievable feats, some of them involving many sizes of turtles, and also a pair of white doves.
Every adult in the room became a wondering and awestruck child again.
And when Leo playfully asked for a volunteer to be sawed in half, instantly, 18 little hands went into the air.
Very poignant stories were shared by many, with both Kathy and Bob, and we are looking forward to seeing many of them again, including here at Bumpity Road.
When the party finally ended, and Kathy and Ann had cleaned the kitchen area of food and dishes, we had ample quiet time to chat with this this very loving couple, Bob's eldest son Gary, and his outstanding helpmate, Edna.
Three of the grandchildren had a total of 6 guests staying over, so most of them were still awake at 1:00 a.m.

Bob and Kathy
We woke to the sounds of laughter and children working together as grandson, Chef Blake, and his buddy Stefan, began making up a big breakfast for everybody.
Mom's and dad's visited throughtout the morning as they collected their offspring.
Seeing all these children from different familes, scattered peacefully around the large dining table, gave us hope that possibly nations would one day emulate, what these loving and kind childen do, so spontaneously.
We drove to Madison in the late afternoon to see the movie Last Holiday, with Queen Lafitah, and enjoyed this beautiful, and multi-faceted story, immensely.
We also saw a good portion of Steve Martin's The Sales' Clerk (?), and were impressed with the story line, and Steve's serious acting role.
We arrived home in mid-evening, found the house at a pleasant 60 degrees, after being unheated for a day and a half, and , turned on the elecrtic baseboard heaters in the kitchen, to make things even toastier.
A great trip, full of love and expressed affection, by so may family and friends.
One unforgettable highlight was Bob's singing a Spanish song, Historia de un Amor, that he learned in la Republica de Panama fifty years ago, with two of the birthday party guests, Juan from Argentina, and his wife Laura, from Mejico.

Bob and Kathy
Kathy ran errands in the neghborhood, going to Diane's and then Clara's, to get eggs.
Also groceries.
And a trip to set a date with Alva about installing six new windows upstairs.
After starting both wood stove fires, Chef Bob began courting the Monach Range to assist him in making a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig batch of chili.
Bob is making do with a 20 quart pot.
Until he can find a larger one!
Six pounds of venison, sauteeing in the very large skillet.
Five very large, sliced yellow onions, almost overflowing another.
Tomatoes in another skillet.
About 6 1/2 pounds of cooked pinto beans.
And 8 quarts of frozen tomatoes, from our gardens last summer, to defrost in the big pot.
Samples of all of these made our lunch,
Everything else?
Into the 20 quart pot.
Along with garlic, coarse black pepper, salt, cayenne, lemon pepper, and chili powder.
Barb W. stopped by for a nice, lively chat, and lots of home made french fries and chili.
Cuzzin' Jerry also joined us for our chili fest but he was on call and so, when his cell phone rang, Jerry had to leave to pick up a stray dog for the Humane Society.
Each of them has assisted us in many, many ways, throughout every year, during the past few years.
What blessings they are!

Bob and Kathy
Both wood stoves going all day.
And all the homemade chili we could eat.
Lots of e-mails answered.
And phone calls.
Where did the day go?
Just spent the day trotting back and forth, feeding one wood stove, and then the other.
And ourselves.

Bob and Kathy
Herb and Leslie joined s from Apple Hollow, Illinois, for a lunch of Chef Robeto's venison chili, and, lots of french fries.
The joyous sharings were added to by the arrival of Barb W., who humorously related many recent and current events in her life.
With Barb, repeated laughter is inevitable.
Then Monty joined us and the round table of six, nourished with all the chili they could eat, shared profound stories, and tickled each others' funny bones.
A first time guest was Annie, a beagle type dog that allows Leslie and Herb to live with and care for her.
It was a delight to walk around the fields and through the cedar grove with Annie enthusiastcally leading the group and exploring in all directions.
My name was inadvertently on one of Kathy's mailing lists about my surprise birthday party of Saturday.
So the Saturday party is no longer a surprise to me, which is allright, (because I once failed to attend a surprise party for me, because I didn't know about it!)
The surprise for Bob will be the arrivals, because that has been a closely guarded secret on Kathy's computer, and phone calls taken or made in rooms where Bob isn't.

Bob and Kathy
Hurray!
Hurray!
I'm 70 today!
We celebrated by driving to Madison and removing one of Bob's few remaining wisdom tooths. :-)
Then we met with Deb and Paul to gift them with prayer shawls for services and they gifted us with lunch, and much more.
A great sharing by the four of us in Denny's Restaurant.
Then off to the Market Square Theater to watch two movies: Thank-You and Goodnight, (which could be interpreted as a current wake up call for Americans, as history does seem to be repeating Joe McCarthy's accusations), and I Walk The Line, the Johnny Cash and June Carter story.
Each was moving, and inspirational, in its own way.
A shared dinner at The Green Forest, with Bob eating all the soft foods in the meal, and then the night drive home via the interstate from Madison.
All the melted snows, were replaced today with a two inch blanket that created no driving problems, but did add a lot of beauty to the countryside.
"Tis a joy to have so many windows to look out of."

Bob and Kathy
Mother Superior (Aunt Eva) called from my mom's, looking for "the young whipper snapper" (Bob), to play cards with, so Bob strapped on his gun belt, filled the holsters with cards and haded for the card playing shootout at mom's O.K. Corraling.
A gorgeous rooster pheasant escorted Bob down the driveway, as Bob was leaving the house.
Mom was just released from the hospital and is using a walker to get around the house, but is glad that she is still able to be in her own home.
Kathy did some shopping and then went home to get ready for the Dream Interpretation Group.
Bob drove Mother Superior home, and saw the first sand hill cranes of the spring, strutting in a roadside field.
Phil and Mary stopped by first, followed by Mel and then Karen.
It was inspirational in that the dreams shared, gave each of us, a chance to interpret the dreams in terms of our own lives.
Last night, one dreamer dreamed that she had died and related a detailed story of a whole series of after death experiences.
So tonight, she shared her experiences, after death.
Briefly, let me say that she said that it was the greatest and most awesome experience of her life, and that she was a changed person when she woke up and went to work, changed in how she thought, and, in how she felt and interacted with other people.
She saw things differently.
And probably will, for the rest of her life.
When such an experience is shared with others, we, the listeners, become "possibility thinkers," because we have been offered an example of how the "other reality" can impact our day to day living for the better, making it more joyful, and peaceful.
We have been offered proof, by one who was blessed with the numinous, the eternal, and in sharing it with us, we are further aware of its All Knowing, All Powerful Existence.
...............
After the session, Barb W arrived, to introduce lots of hilarity.
Then Barb and Kathy worked till late, on surprises for Bob tomorrow.
The big surprise is that Bob does not know who is coming. :-)

Bob and Kathy
Barb stayed over last night.
So after Bob finished his chores, he began updating this journal.
And was submerged with a tidal wave of hugs and kisses from Kathy and Barb and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday."
The celebrating today, is a celebration of everyone.
For everyone.
Every day, really.
And also, for you, the reader of these words.
Then, the two angels boisterously left the room, gleefully waving goodby and telling Bob that they were on their way to an Amish Store to spend all Bob's money.
Bob has been already been advised, that about noon, Bob's presence would no longer be needed.
Bob's presence was no longerrequired, anywhere, on these here premises, where Bob has his abode.
It was requested that Bob disappear, somewhere, into the horizon, for an indefinite period of time.
That Bob go elsewhere, and remain there.
Until........
.........until, Bob heard his cell phone ring.
.....................
Patty Cakes and Roger, from Lodi, showed up after visiting the Amish stores, so Bob chatted with them awhile, and gave Roger (our major venison source this year, as Roger's young son harvested six deer, and Roger harvested 3), a gallon of frozen homemade venison chili.
Kathy and Barb continued their prep work in the kitchen while Bob went to Portage to pick up his mom.
Phil and Mary arrived, also Steve from Kiel and Zen from Madison.
Several cars came from Wisconsin Dells bringing Pam, Randy, Prem, Janni, Dana, and Leroy.
Other relatives and card slingers included Cuzzin Jerry and his pa, Cuzzin' Billy, Victor and Flossie, Sister Ruth and Terri, Cuzzin' Harlan and Judy, Aunt Eva, Peggy.
Also Lara and Mark from Poynette, Ken and Sally from Madison, Duncan from Middleton, Catherine from Shorewood, and Mel from Wyocena.
Chefs Barbara and Kathy had a great feast of ribs, chicken, salads, tuna, cranberries, etc.
Lots of sharings by all.
Lots of happiness and laughter.
A very caring group of people.
The late movie was a new DVD, The Alamo.
And six of the extra bedrooms were blessed by Barbara (our maid of honor), Duncan (our best man), Catherine, Leroy, Steve, and Zen, who "camped out" in the Sunset Room.
Several birthday cakes, one of which affirmed that "I would do it all over again,
the same way."
Which, interestingly enough, was a statement I shared with about 8 people, BEFORE, the message cake arrived!

Bob and Kathy
A great morning discussion about relationships with self, spouses, others, and God, highlighted by Duncan's comments about the response to his ad.
Carol drove up from Madison and Christine from Chicago, so we all sat down for venison stew, when Bob's mom called, in tears, because one of her two black cats had died. Mom was in tears so Bob and Carol went to Portage to play cards with her, and were joined there by Victor, Flossie, and Aunt Eva.
Bob added all the baked lemon chicken to the venison stew, and put it in mom's oven, while we were playing cards.
Cuzzin Jerry, among many other things, also a volunteer fire fighter, called to let us know that they were fighting a fire in Victor's field which got withing 100 yards of Victor's house. So,Victor and Flossie left abruptly to
go home, leaving mom, Carol, Eva, and Bob to play cards and then eat a verrrrrrrrrry delicious chicken-venison stew. So good, in fact, that Aunt Eva took several meals of stew home.
Bob returned home with the stew pot, which was still hot, so Christine and Steve joined us and all agreed that it was very tasty indeed, some taking two or three separate helpings!

Bob and Kathy
Bob and Steve spent much of the day working on chain saws, cutting and splitting wood, and stacking brush.
Christine and Kathy ran errands and worked in the house.
Kerri and Jeffrey arrived from The Peace House in Cincinatti, on their way to Montana.
We had a jillion leftovers for lunch, snacks, and supper, and lots of humorous and profound conversation.
Many hands kept both wood stoves burning throughout the day and evening.
I am aware of all the angels sleeping here, as this is being written.
.....................
Tuesday, March 21, 2006
After breakfast (thank you Victor, for the four dozen range fed chicken eggs), Jeffrey and Kerri went to the Academy, and Steve and Bob had an unusually fruitful woodcutting day.
Lots of block firewood to still split and stack, and brush to pile up.
Kathy and Christine in the house working and then Kat, Kerri, and Jeffrey visited the Amish Cheese Factory.
Cuzzin Jerry stopped by to work with us on our chain saws and then got the lift pump working for the septic lift tank.
Lots of home made venison chili and bean soup (together), BBQ ribs, french fries, cookies, ice cream, etc.
Just grazing through the days, one meal after another.
It is a joy, just to hear people freely expressing themselves, smiling alot, exploring the area, and laughing mucho.
Christine (here) and Deb (Madison) hosted ACIM Gather on the internet today (Pal Talk), so we got a chance to sing "I know Just What To Do," It's Only a Thought," and, "I Like Your Style."
Dishes are clinking in the kitchen, as Christine (a.k.a. Happy Woman), and Kathy, finish up all the work in the kitchen.
It is a total delight to sleep in a house with so many angels under the roof at one time!
......................................
Wednesday, March 22, 2006
Bob and Kathy
Kerri and Jeffrey packing up to leave for their ACIM Workshos and Gatherings in Montana.
Lots of sharings by all.
Steve and Bob out wrestling with downed dead tree trunks, and loading them on the hay wagon to tote them to the woodpile for cutting.
A long day, working outside till sundown.
Christine and Kathy have the kitchen looking snappy, and it was a joy to be warmed by Miss Monarch, (an old fashioned wood cook stove), while we ate and laughed heartily.
.....................
Thursday, March 23, 2006
Bob and Kathy
A day in the wood pile, north of the house, for Steve and Bob.
In addition to what was previously cut, we probably have enough now for all of next winter.
And, most of it is already split and sized to go right into the two wood stoves!
Our little 20 horse Allis Chalmers is a real puller.
I have to be real careful to let the clutch out reeeeeeal slow, so the horses don't rear and sit on me!
..............................
Friday, March 24 2006
Bob and Kathy
A trip to Madison, running errands (lift pump switch, chain saw blades, etc.), and a trip to Bob's dentist.
Then off to the Market Square theater to see Syriana with Ken, Sally, Don and Catherine.
We arrived home well after dark, but Steve and Christine had the house all warmed up, which was a real treat after the nippy, out-of-doors.
.......................................

Bob and Kathy
Off to Kiel, Wisconsin, for an afternoon of fun, wide-ranging, spiritual conversation with Mary and Robert.
We delivered almost 5 dozen "prayer shawls" for ministers' services, handpicked by Kathy and Bob in sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mejico!
What an exciting, warm, inspirationally uplifting afternoon we spent with these two dear souls!
.......
Then off to see David W., who had just come home from an afternoon of selling about 98 loaves of bread that David had baked that morning.
David usually sells everything he has just baked, within a few hours, at whatever farmer's market he goes to.
Then off into the darkness and rain to return to Bumpity Road.
A few miles from home we avoided hitting two large deer that crossed the road in front of us.
Steve and Christine had kept the home fires burning, so it was a joy to walk from the rain and darkness into the warmth and light.
......................
Sunday, March 26, 2006
Bob and Kathy
An unusually quiet 10:00 a.m. service.
Followed by an unusually "enthusiastic"
series of entertaining and thought-provoking commentaries by Steve, Christine, Mary, Phil, Bob and Kathy!
A greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat discussion!
The Pizza King (Steve), piled us up with umpteen kinds of pizza!
Then Christine set off for Mad City for a visit with Zennie and Rick.
Steve and Bob, cut up and pitched a lot more wood onto the East Wood-Pile.
Then Bob went into Helen's Card Slingin' Shootout against Victor, mom, Mother Superior, all of them top card-shooters.
This time, Bob was the top card-slinger.
Then, home again for a three way (with Steve). impromptu discussion on spiritual themes, brought up in our morning session, which was unusually long because of the great number of sharings.
A ONEderful day!
And it ain't over yet!
......................
Monday, March 27, 2006
Bob sent e-mails out, to fellow friends, about joining in fellowship.
KatKat went to Barb W.'s to share with her. It was a great joy for us to do this, and have an opportunity to embrace the miracle of celebrating LOVE NOW.
We openly talked and shared about the marvel and miracle of BEing in the blessings of what is on one's mind, and not holding feelings back.
Then, KAT rolled back to the Bumpity In One Love Center.
Steve brought Michael from the Academy.
We had a great chat about a kaleidescope of ideas, that was very warm and joy filled.
It was great to see the sparkling of eyes, and ONEder, within Michael.
We shared lots of home made tomato soup (with pasta).
After visiting, Bob and Kathy took Mike back to the Academy, a 90 minute rain-filled roundtrip via the Interstate.
Great to be home, especially after all the rain-filled driving!

Bob and Kathy
Barb W brought Alva and the six custom made windows for the upstairs.
Cuzzin' Jerry stopped by with his pa to put a switch in a septic overflow lift pump.
With Steve, that made 7 that sat down for the noon meal together.
Lots of mashed potatoes, pizzas (thank-you, Steve), baked beans and hot dogs, corn, brussel sprouts, and home made bread, (thank-you, David).
Alva back to installing the 6 new windows upstairs, Kathy cleaned up in the kitchen, and Bob, here, talkin' to you!
Along toward dark, the windows were all in, Alva had loaded up Barb's van, and Steve was cutting dead tree logs, into 4 to 6 foot lengths, in the woods north of the house.
The wood cook stove has been a warm household friend, all day long.
.............................
Wednesday, March 29, 2006
Bob and Kathy
Steve got Bob out to the woods to load two loads of cut dead tree logs, and bring them to the house for eventually cutting up for fire wood.
The tires on the hay wagon are showing all the weight, by squishing down a bit.
Christine is back from Madison and her friend, Marcine, just arrived from Chicago.
So, all five of us, are in the kitchen working on different foods for our supper:
Several pastas, a whopper salad, french fries (with Italian seasonings), sauteed large yellow onions (with pizza seasonings), a mixture of pasta sauces, ginger snaps, etc.
Many hands cleared the table, loaded the dish washer, stored the leftovers, and then one by one, ambled into the Sunrise Room, where Steve had set up the Carpenters' DVD, for a group showing.
Happy voices in the kitchen while this is being updated.
The music of warm, friendly voices, of helpful souls.
Now, they're singing, "All there is, is love, da da...."
...................
We just finished the Pathways of LIght DVD of Tom and Linda Carpenter at the ACIM Tribute in Salt Lake City, in April of 2005.
POL did a great audio-video job of capturing the Carpenters' sincerity, integrity, and warmth.
They were an excellent team in always coming back to the simple truth of your choice of believing in who you are, either: sin and separation, or, the Oneness of God.
Robert Perry's Salt Lake City DVD is now playing in the Sunrise Room, while Kat and I are now saying goodnight to you.
The automatic dishwasher just clicked off it's dry cycle.
What a beautiful sound!
KatKat is chuckling. :-)

Bob and Kathy
Bob went to his mom's, and was later joined there by Mother Superior.
After the card slinging was over, we left mom to rest and went home to eat
Bob's home made tomato soup.
Cuzzin Jerry and a friend installed floats and a new switch in the old septic lift pump.
After soups and salads, Kathryn left with Christine and Marcie, to take Mother Superior home.
Four ladies off in the old white Caddy, with all the bells and whistles.
We went to see Mom Helen, and leave her some tea.
Then, we went to Walmart Heaven, and saw many angels there.
On the way home to Bumpity, David and Sylvia called from the Peace House, to talk.
Sylvia talked in Espanol and English with us, on the way back to Bumpity. Then, we let her talk with Roberto when we got home, in Espanol, and it was great to hear them talking.
Both wood stoves burning, both tea kettles steaming.
Steve on his way outside to cut more wood, which he did until dark, again.
Cake and ice cream for the eve of Marcie's Birthday.
Home made potato soup by Bob and great garlic bread from Marcie.
Marcie, Christine, and Kathryn, watching the movie: The Majestic, in the Sunrise Room.
Bob curling up with the Carpenters' DIALOGUE ON AWAKENING.
................
Friday, March 31, 2006
Bob and Kathy
Bob back in Portage to see his mom, joining with Mother Superior and Victor, for another card-slinging shootout, with Flossie, the ever patient observer.
Lots of food back at Bumpity with Steve, Leroy, Mike, Gary Lee, Marcie, Christine, and Barbara W., all staying over and adding to the hilarity.
Lots and lots of pizza from Steve and Barbara, just a few hours apart.
Mary helped Mike, Leroy and Bob put two bunks together in the former "potato and
onion room."
Then lots of chatting followed by DVDs and videos.
And eventually, Mike, Leroy, and Gary Lee, settled into the "bunk bed room."
With Barbara, Christine, Marcie, and Steve in other rooms.
