The remarkable work of the highly respected Ray Fowler is always among the best in Ufology.
We look forward to publishing a REVIEW of his "SynchroFile" book in an upcoming issue of this newsletter, and urge people to purchase the book. We expect that his well documented reports of synchronicties and related paranormal phenomena will be enthralling, compellling and inspiring, given our own extensive experiences, recorded in our e-book, with this "meta-phenomena." "SynchroFile" adds greatly to the knowledge about what Fowler calls "synchronisms."
Also, look for a review of his previous book, a fascinating autobiography, "UFO TESTAMENT: Anatomy of an Abductee." published last year by the Writer's Showcase !Universe Inc. (Lincoln, Nebraska), in an upcoming issue of our "S.P.A.C.E. EXPLORERS CONTACT JOURNAL" Newsletter. Yes, "And the beat goes on" with this. Like the REPEATING SIGNAL PATTERN, that SETI astronomers search for, these complex Earth-bound "synchronisms" grab our attention and make us wonder in awe.
These amazing synchronisms have been thoroughly documented and categorized with their associations to other aspects of "a mega-reality" in "SynchroFile" by Fowler with his considerable human intellect and throughout our own accounts here with "syncs" understood to be a guiding part of a greater Cosmic Ecological Milieu (a record that began in June 2000).
Synchronistic happenings have been related as well by others such as Jacques Vallee in his books, and by Dr. Harley Rutledge (in "Project Identification: The First Scientific Field Study of UFO Phenomena" - Prentice Hall-1981), who discussed this in his concluding chapter, "A Very Subtle Phenomenon" ---

Finland, Monday, June 7, 2004 -- I visited my cousins last weekend. There are three of them, a girl aged nine, who is quite attracted to me; she was actually the one who invited me over there. The family lives in a big old house in a small town about 50 kilometers from Helsinki. It is a beautiful small house area, with a lot of forests and parks.
On Saturday my cousin asked me to watch a cartoon with me. She asked me: "Which one do you wanna see?" There were many of them. But when I saw Disney's "Alice In The Wonderland," I, of course, chose that one.
We watched it and the VCR showed the number 33 all the time. It was not the clock, nor the state of the tape; it just showed number 33 all the time, and for some reason I found it interesting.
[NOTE by Harold Egeln -- The Walt Disney cartoon version of "Alice In Wonderland" was released n 1951. The live action film version, starring Charlotte Henry as Alice, and with a cast of famous actors, was released in 1933. The number 33 is also the highest level number in the Masonic Order.]
On Sunday as we were walking in a field, I just happened to see something in the grass. I told my cousin: "Wait a minute!" We stooped over and I looked closer. Oh yes, it was a FOUR-LEAF CLOVER that I discovered! I picked it up. My cousin was amazed.
We took two more steps and now my cousin told me: "Wait a minute!" She bent down and picked up -- nothing less than a FOUR-LEAF CLOVER!!! We were both amazed and delighted.
We told ourselves over and over again: "This is not possible! You can't find four-leaf clovers just like that!" But we both did. My cousin joked: "It was your discovery of the first clover that gave me the fortune to find one on my own!"
Later that day we were playing badminton in their yard. I happened to look at the ground at one point and guess what? I again found a FOUR-LEAF CLOVER!!! What a fortune, what a coincidence!!

Finland, Wednesday, June 9, 2004 -- After work today I traveled to Helsinki, bought a shirt by Armani Exchange and took a bus home. While siting in the bus I was looking out the window.
All of a sudden I saw something metallic in the air, with the rays of the sun reflecting off it, making it shine. It looked like a classic FLYING SAUCER. Of course it was most likely an airplane, as the area is under an air-way that is flown repeatedly.
Anyway, I realized that the "UFO" was above Lauttasaari. Now Lauttasaari("Ferry Island") is the island on which I took my "FIRST HOP" into the WONDERLAND of the "WOW! E.T. CONTACT" last year. There have also been other strange incidents taking place in Lautasaari, as I have recounted. Here's one, dated AUG. 19, 2003:
>>> "I was, again, on my way home. The bus drove through LAUTTASAARI. I looked out of the window. wishing to see a HARE. The bus stopped at the next stop, and there was a park on the right. There ws no RABBIT to be seen. I thought, 'What if some time there would be a HARE in the middle of the street in Helsinki?'
"After that thought, all of a sudden, although the bus had not moved at all, I saw that there was a HARE sitting IN THE MIDDLE of the sand ROAD in that park!!
"Seeing it, making my thought real, just took my breath away!!! Was it there all the time or was it because it was beamed from the USS Enterprise of the SPACE RABBITS?! I did not believe my eyes, but had to admit that it really was there, as it did not disappear when I rubbed my eyes." <<<
OK, I found it interesting that I was seeing an airplane looking like a UFO flying over LAUTASAARI. But it didn't end here, no way!
Next my attention was taken by a small cloud in th sky, this one being approximately above Lauttasaari, too. The cloud was in the form of a four-legged animal. Firt I thought itresembled a bear. But then I saw it clearer.
No, it was not a bear but a RABBIT, a hurrying RABBIT! I was astonished! This RABBIT cloud came like a confirmation of my seeing that "UFO" over LAUTASAARI where I used to see many RABBITS in my childhood.
After my seeing of the cloud in a RUNNING RABBIT's shape, it changed extremely rapidly, first into the form of a dinosaur skeleton, perhaps T-Rex or something, and then into a scorpion. Then it just disappeared within a few seconds... just vanishing away. It had done its duty and was free to go.
I later searched the Net with key words "running rabbit" and found a picture that resembled the running rabbit in the form of a cloud. Look at it here by scrolling down to se a picture of a running rabbit on a British website. Also note that the date highlighted in the text happens to be July 27th, and the name mentioned is Kirk FLOWERS.

The mention of "Kirk FLOWERS" is like we used to see FLOWERS in connection with RABBITS. KIRK is also like CAPTAIN JAMES T. KIRK in STAR TREK, played by WILLIAM Shatner.
William Shatner also starred in the TV series "One Hit WONDERS" (2002), "First Men on the MOON" (1997) as the KING of the MOON, and in "Third Rock From The Sun" TV series as the "Supreme Ruler of the Galaxy," and, perhaps, most interestingly, in the 1973 movie "Go Ask ALICE" as Sam, ALICE's brother.
I just happened to find these facts while looking for a photo on he Net to show what the cloud resembled!
[NOTE by Harold Egeln: At a few Star Trek Conventions that I attended here in NYC over 20 years ago, Shatner described his nighttime UFO sighting while driving on his motorcycle in the American West.]

It is extremely interesting that the quotation of my experience last year in LAUTTARSAARI mentions the USS ENTERPRISE of STAR TREK. I picked that piece of text BEFORE I found out about WILLIAM SHATNER, which happened quite accidently as I found the RABBIT picture with the name KIRK FLOWERS.

New York City, Sunday, June 20, 2004 -- This morning while checking my e-mails before going out for breakfast, I just happened to tune into public TV station Channel 13 and it had an episode of the popular children's cartoon show "Arthur."
I saw the RABBIT boy character, shown here. The next thing I saw was the character pulling the RABBIT head off of himself, revealing that he was actually a SPACE ALIEN CHILD on ANOTHER PLANET, as the other "Arthur" characters revealed themselves to be space aliens, all laughing, playing the role of the Earthling CARTOON figures!
Once again, ever more reinforcement of the "WOW! Contact" --- SPACE ALIENS and RABBITS linked!!!

New York City, Thursday, July 1, 2004 -- I just happened to look at a videotape this morning on which I recorded six items in 1990, 14 years ago.
The first one was the magical 1959 Walt Disney movie, "Darby O'Gill and the Little People," a live action feature starring a pre-"James Bond" Sean Connery about leprechauns, always a favorite subject of mine. (They were seen by one of my younger brothers parading into my bedroom as a child in Irvington, NJ,!)
Then there were two long excellent film documentaries on the marvelous Broadway and movie music team of Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammersetin, with excerpts of their famous musicals.
After that I had a special feature titled "Steven Spielberg Salutes the Music of John Williams," broadcast in July 1990 on PBS Channel 13 public TV. Of course, WILLIAMS of the Boston Pops Orchester is known for his space movie music in the Spielberg films.
For some reason I recorded only 35 minutes of the program, ending it with a segment of the complete music sequence from the 1977 movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" of the Mothership landing at Devil's TOWER in WYOMING. The next music selection was from the 1973 Spielberg film, "Sugarland Express," so I ceased recording.
On the following recorded item the first image right after Spielberg spoke after the "Close Encounters" sequence was that of BUGS BUNNY diving into a RABBIT Hole!!!! My heart hopped faster at this unexpected SYNC.
What it was was a segment previewing my next recording on the tape from 1990 (two years before the founding of S.P.A.C.E. and 10 years from the "WOW! Contact" beginnings), an hour-long documentary called "The KING of Cartoons - Tex Avery." Avery is the creator of Bugs Bunny in 1940 and the cartoonist for Warner Brothers Film's wacky "Merry Melodies" and "Looney Tunes." Before that, in the early 1930s he created Oswald RABBIT, a Bugs Bunny predecessor.
Be aware that I did not plan -- in 1990 -- to put a RABBIT together with the Spielberg "CLOSE ENCOUNTERS" immediately following the music score played by John WILLIAMS. It was a serendipitous arrangement, maybe designed and orchestrated on another plane of reality outside of time and space before the breakthrough of June 2000??
Giving the SYNC orchestration a personal tie-in, at the end of the videotape I recorded an event from a local city TV news program in July 1990, an event which I also covered for my newspapers as a reporter... and I can be seen momentarily in the TV news spot!

LEPRECHAUNS & RABBITS
New York City, Saturday, July 3, 2004 -- When I came home this evening after a day outdoors and at the Metropolitian Museum of Art, I decided to relax with a viewing of "Darby O'Gill And the Little People," which I may not have ever seen, even when I recorded it from TV in 1990.
There is a scene where the character played by Sean Connery wants to see what Darby says he has inside his sack, the leprechaun King Brian. When Connery looks inside he sees a RABBIT, not the LEPRECHAUN. Darby, of course, sees the playful leprechaun, whom he earlier called a "TRICKSTER."
Later at the village pub, Darby's friends want to see the leprechaun king in his sack. Inside, the metamorph changes himself into a RABBIT again, hopping out of the sack and chased by the fooled village folks, escaping them.
So, on this video tape we have a LEPRECHAUN, called a "TRICKSTER," who metamorphs into a RABBIT; a John WILLIAMS suite from Spielberg's "Close Encounters" movie which is immediately followed by a BUGS BUNNY diving into a RABBIT Hole; and a real time connection with Bugs Bunny's creator, cartoonist Tex AVERY through the WQXR sync (see following account on this one).
A pretty cool sequence of syncs. And "That's Not All, Folks!"

New York City, Thursday, July 8, 2004 -- In today's "Circuits" section of The New York Times about computers and related information systems, there be RABBITS.
Under the headline on page G4, "For the Diligent, a Soft, Furry Reward," in the Online Shopper" column by Michelle Slatatta, there is an illustration of the top of a RABBIT's head emerging from a rectangular box with an adoring female human above it. There is a subheadline: "No more outdoor hutches: today's pet bunny gets quality time and toys. OK, so I read the column, of course.
"Mommy, wake up, the clock says almost 7, can we go get my bunny now?" asks a girl, six, named CLEMENTINE. Now, the column tells of the mother's on-line search for a proper pet rabbit and the right toys for bunnies, citing such websites as www.rabbit.org of the House Rabbit Society, among others.
As I read the column, I took note of two names, the ones I bold-faced in the last paragraph. CLEMENTINE, was the name of the Moon orbiter launched by NASA and the U.S. Defense Department to ap the Moon in 1994.
And much later in the column the child's mother checks out a potential pet rabbit for her daughter. The rabbit's name is ANASTASIA, who is then introduced to CLEMENTINE.
The rabbit's name just happens to be the name of one of the people, of a state MUFON chapter, I will be seeing this weekend at a lunch up north of the city in BREWSTER, the village where S.P.A.C.E. Away Teams have conducted proactive close encounters. In the Summer of 1991 Anastasia led a team of scientific investigators from Connecticut MUFON to the site of my late night encounter, with three other people, of May 27, 1991 on Upper Magnetic Mine Road in Brewster in Putnam County, NY, where we saw unusual beings who interacted with us.
But all this does not make for a sync. So far.
Near the end of the column, CLEMENTINE's mother embraces a rabbit and says hello to it by its name: "Hi, BREWSTER." --- I said outloud, "WOW! We now have a SYNC! So cool..."
Then on page G8, the last page in the Circuits section, there is the "Wnat's Next" column by Ian Austen, with the headline: "Relying on Science, Not Serendipity, for a Quieter Ride in the Sky" about an accidential discovery by NASA engineers who found a way to improve the air flow of the jet exhaust engine.
SERENDIPITY as applied to SCIENCE unfolds again, in the same section with RABBITS connected with the CLEMENTINE, ANASTASIA and BREWSTER associations. How curious.
.... Two days after the above report, Harold Egeln is in a cafe with friends in the Village of Brewster, with not a rabbit nor a UFO in sight that day. Here he gives the "Star Trek" Vulcan peace sign for "Live long and propser" -- or is he trying to make rabbit ears with his hand?

New York City, Thursday, July 15, 2004 -- "Curiousier and curiousier," said Alice while in Wonderland. Ditto here in Gotham City, where Greenwich Village's first tea-room, "The Mad Hatter," opened 80 years at 150 West Fourth Street at Sixth Avenue.
This evening, on a whim, I did a MSN Internet search under "Quantum Rabbits," and made a discovery: A soon-to-be-published book by mathematician Colin Bruce called "Schrodinger's Rabbits: Entering the Many Worlds of Quantum" which the National Academy Press will soon release (ISBN 0309090512)!
The term "Schrondinger's Rabbits" has been used in these accounts here before, some time ago, as a variation on the theme of the famous "Schrodinger's Cats" about the state of quantum uncertainity called superposition. It was originated by John Gribbin, the Cambridge University astrophysicist in his book, "In Search of Schrodinger's Cat: Quantum Physics and Realty" several years ago, and followed recently by "Schrodinger's Kittens..."
We have stated that our experiences and accounts reflect this strange state of quantum micro-reality, the basis for our macro-reality, where the quantum lives through us. Holy macro!
Only as recently as June 2 Anders von Bergen entered a report here about submiting a term paper in a university class titled, "The Brave New World a la Modern Physics," which he began with this sentence:
"The White Rabbit of the quantum physics has turned us into Alices in the Wonderland, where phenomena are not what we sed to belive."
Now a renowed academic press is publishing a book by an prominent author who uses our chief archetype -- the RABBIT, the HARE -- running all through our Synchronistic Adventures in Wonderland, from Helsinki to the English northern midlands to the skyscraper canyons of the Big Apple, and through many Yellow Brick Roads throughout time and space and beyond.
That use of the RABBIT in a major new physics book is utterly amazing, given how the "WOW! Contact" unfolds and to whom it reveals itself, now manifesting in Colin Bruce, a mathematician like Charles Dodgson aka Lewis Carroll.
Bruce is the author of "The Einstein Paradox" (there is a chapter from that book on the links below referring to the possible nature of ETI) and "Conned Again, Watson!" both in paperbback from the Perseus Book Group.

New York City, Saturday, July 17, 2004 -- Enjoying a day outside in the city today, I roamed briefly into Dylan's Candy Bar, the flashy super-candy store on Third Avenue and East 60th Street, across from Bloomingdales and down the street from the Serendipty Three Shop and Restaurant.
Inside is the giant eight foot high store mascot, Jeffrey the Bunny, who figured into syncs two years ago.
