Sharing songs, sharing dreams, make
believe fantasy imagining things.
Drys your tears, holds your hand, doesn't
need to understand.
The hurts you feel what your going
through.
Just needs to be there for you.

No demands, no harsh words spoken
hugs you when your heart is broken.
Accepts you for the way you are, doesn't
try to change you, you've made it this
far.

Lets you be you, stands by your side.
Doesn't laugh at you, or call you names,
talks things out so you can laugh again.
Helping each other, giving a hand, in a
loving way to be able to fly again.

In the good times and bad, in the happy
times and sad.
The best of friends see it through.
They don't run away and hide, when
there's a falling through.
Leaving you behind not knowing what
to do.

For that's how friendships end, and to
begin is hard again.
So when you call someone friend, your
saying I will be there til the end.
This is what friends do when they say
I love you.
