Where Are You Going?

The seasons called Spring and Summer
have ended.
Autumn is passing by as the winds blow
Winter in.
Where are you going?

When the water is as glass......
The white fluffy clouds dip down to
kiss the water.
The warmth of a fireplace, and the
crackling sounds of embers burning.
Where are you going?

I'll be seeing you, as the first snow
flake falls, clean and crisp, wetting
my eyelashes.
As the mountains golden yellow
colors fade.

Trees silhouettes standing straight
and tall.
Remind me of you, and the whisper
of the winter winds sighing.
Where are you going?

With my lips I kiss the last petal
on the rose.
Smelling the last fragrence it holds.
Holding it gently against my face.
As the whip-poor-will sounded in the
distance.
I'll be seeing you.

When the morning comes, and the
sunbeams softly shine.
Your smile is that of a crimson kiss.
Lifting me up, holding me in your
arms, as the storm winds gently
blow.
The room is all aglow.

The fire is turning cold.
Where are you going?
Wait till the winter winds are gone.
And the snows have melted on the
ground.
And the whip-poor-will has sung it's
last song.
