She woke with an ache in her heart.
Rising in the early dawn to greet the
rising sun.
Her hand brushes across the empty
space by her bedside.
Silently she struggles with the opposing
forces between a man and woman.
He longed to once again be held in her
arms.
It worried him so the distance between
there souls.
The ache in his heart of emptiness.
His long strides through the tall grass
seemed endless.
Both yearning to hear the beating of
there hearts.
They make there way to each other.
As the sun rose to meet the sky.
They meet, as his lips were parting to speak.
She smiled, taking him into her arms.
As two distant souls, became one for
eternity.
