If I could find a thousand sweet words

I cannot write a song, I cannot sing
a note, I cannot find a thousand sweet
words to say to you.
I only found one and it's called
"Friendship" I can give to you.
If I could write a poem it would be
about how wonderful you are.
About sharing dreams, and the
cute things that you do.
About your thoughtfulness and
caring ways.
About the "Friendship" we share
each day.
"Friendship" is like a gift in a box.
Each time you open it, you find
something new.
It's like sweet chocolate, you can't
get enough.
It's never ending as the word
"Friendship" covers a multitude.
If I could paint a picture, it would
be of us.
Together friends, forever friends,
hugs and smiles friends.
Blue skies behind us, white clouds
floating by.
If I could I would, because your
"Friendship", means the world to
me, and I hope it never ends.
If by chance we find one of us
is gone when the next day comes
along.
We'll have the memories of our
"Friendship" to see us through.
A legacy left of knowing each other
when our days are through.
Seen in the blue skies, the white
clouds floating by, the picture
of us printed on our hearts.
