The days, the nights, the clicking
of the clock.
The time passing by, the lonely
nights without you, I want more of

I want to listen to the beating of

As I put my hand on your chest
I want to feel the rhythm of its
flow.
The quickening of its beating when
we are close together.

To reach out and touch you, to
know that you are here.

As the morning sunlight fills the room.
