The world is made up of so manystories, fables, and fantasys. A frog that turns into a prince with a kiss, sleeping beauty, along comes a prince and wakens her with a kiss. Beauty & The Beast, now thats another princely story. Cinderella meets her prince. over a lost slipper. This is what dreams are made of and in reality some do come true.
The stories you are about to read are true, and it may have happened to you. Meet some people who accept themselves for who they are not wanting anything more than love.
A young girl who could not hear met a young man who could not see. He was standing on the crosswalk waiting to cross the street. As she walked to the crosswalk and stood by him, she asked,"may I help you across kind sir"? He innocently answered, "yes" he put his arm in her arm and together they crossed the street. Today they are one, not by a kiss, but by reaching out like this.
A young man was taking a stroll through the park one day. As he walked he whistled a happy tune. In the distance he heard singing. Wondering where the singing was coming from, he walked that way. He saw a young girl sitting by the edge of the pond singing with the sweetest voice he has ever heard. He picked a rose as he slowly walked over to her to see she had no legs. He handed her the rose and sat down beside her. Today they are one not by a kiss, but by reaching out like this.
An older couple lived in a nursing home. Both lonely, both so alone. The lady could just about walk on her own. The man was in a wheelchair and got along just fine. One day the lady was taking a walk which she always did before sunset. As she walked she felt a pain ripping through her legs. She could not go on any further and as she turned to go back she fell. She prayed, "Oh Dear Lord please let someone come by and find me". She continued to pray, "I cannot stand up on my own, I am sitting here all alone". Just then the man in his wheelchair came along. He stopped, looked at her, and said, "woman what are you doing there on the ground?" With a smile she said, "waiting for you to come along and sweep me off my feet and take me home". Without hesitation he said,"grab on young lady I am here to save a damsel in distress". She grabbed onto the handles of the wheelchair picking herself up off the ground. Looking into each other's eyes, together they both said,"where have you been all my life"? Today they are one, not by a kiss, but by reaching out like this.
This is what life is all about, it isn't how beautiful you are, it isn't if your body is whole, the color of your skin, or your hair or if your going bald. It isn't if your skinny or your fat. Has nothing to do with age, or even the magic kiss. But by reaching out like this. Is how you will find your "Prince".
