A long time ago, a woman named
Mary knelt at the foot of the cross.
She cried broken hearted this day
and her heart lameted in pain.
Her son Jesus was just punished,
by being nailed to a cross for doing
no wrong.
In a faint whisper she heard,"Woman
do not cry for me for soon I will
ascend to my father."
Mary the mother of Jesus fell to the
ground in anguish.
Again she heard, "forgive them father
for they know not what they do".
The skies darkened, lightning streaked
across the sky, a thunder was heard
rolling out of the heaven's.
As Jesus lifted his eyes upwards to
the heaven's he said, "into your hands
I comend my spirit", and drew his last
breath.
There were whisper's among the people
saying,"He said on the third day he will
rise again."
Jesus was taken down from the cross,
and laid in a tomb where a stone of
great size was rolled to block the
entrance.
On the third day His tomb was visited
and they found the stone moved and
the tomb empty.
On this day we call Easter Sunday, Jesus
the man who died on the cross for our
sins has risen.
He has given us the hope of life after
death.
No more sorrows, no more pain, no more
crying.
The Miracle of Easter is Jesus, as He
leaves in our hearts His footprints
telling us He will walk the earth again
one day showing us the way.

Thank you Jesus.
