I produced a teaching video entitled ''THE USE OF UPPER EXTREMITY PROSTHESES'' which was designed to help arm amputees see what can be accomplished with artificial arms. I am a registered occupational therapist (OTR) and a bilateral amputee. The video was professionally produced and covers the following topics:

The 49 minute video addresses with humor, creativity, and candor, the "NITTY GRITTY" of life without upper limbs.

Offers practical solutions to problems enountered by arm amputees.

Boldly answers questions that amputees, families, students, instructors, therapists, nurses, doctors, counselors, and limb manufacturers wonder about but "forget" to ask.

Presents real life practical activities of daily living skills and techniques in a way that teaches.

Shows how a bilateral amputee (right arm above elbow and left arm elbow below elbow) manages a day in his life using body-powered prostheses. It shows how to put on the prostheses, bathe, get dressed, undressed, put on deoderant, shave, toilet duties, eating, cutting meat, dancing, work skills, and practical ADL functions.

Is used world wide as an amputee teaching tool at Rehab Centers, OT, PT, Nursing, Prosthetic and Medical Schools. It is also widely used to teach amputees, family members and therapists what can be accomplished with prostheses.
