he decided to combine the two as a performing artist, illustrating grand opera scenes, Broadway musicals scenes, religious / Biblical truth / scenes, and classical symphonic compositions. As far as is known, no other artist illustrates music before audiences on a specially designed nine foot tall easel with overhead lighting. Taped music is played while illustrating with lecturer's chalks. Composers represented in his illustrations: BACH, BIZET, HUMPERDINCK, JEROME KERN, MUSSORGSKY, WAGNER, MASSANET, RICHARD RODGERS, SIGMUND ROMBERG, PUCCINI, VERDI, DEBUSSEY, GROFE, R.STRAUSS, MENDELSSOHN, HANDEL, ELMER BERNSTEIN, etc.

CALVARY

chalk illustration with music from the films-Ben Hur, Greatest Story Ever Told, the Bible, Ten Commandments.

Chalk illustration from Verdi's opera NABUCCO (Nebuchadrezzar)

In this scene the Israelites are in captivity in Babylon and long for their homeland singing "Va Pensiero." The piclture is drawn on a large easel with overhead lighting and musical background from the Verdi music...nice for churches, retirement homes, art groups, etc.
