Starting the engine for the very first time, and breaking in the cam was also a special day that I waited a very long time for! (Note oil pressure gauge so that I could keep an eye on things.)

This is the car after I added a NOS tail light panel. Through the RH tail light opening, you can see a little bit of the inner wheel well widening I performed so that the 13" wide N50-15 tires fit inside of the outer fender lip. These tires also required me to special order a custom bent "Addco" rear sway bar for inner sidewall clearance at the tires.

About the only original major parts used on the car are the door shells, dash assembly, brake booster, P/S pump and gear box.

Finally in `95, thrown back together just enough so that I could take it on a one week spin after waiting almost 20 years since driving it last!

Put less than 50 miles on it in the few times it was out that week!

(After a week, it would have required an inspection sticker to stay on the road, so sadly it was parked again.)

That's me during the priming and painting of the hood in the Spring of '99.

(Well, I was only able to finish painting the hood that Summer, and that's as far as I've got with the car, due mostly to the `99 Summer heat, spending ALL my time at the beach the Summer of `99, and then buying a new house and moving in `00. )

An original factory R/A sticker from Bob Perkins, which I didnt use......it might be for sale some day?
