+May 26, 2004 - Fantasia Barrino is crowned winner of American Idol Season 3. With a total of 65 Million votes cast during the four-hour calling period 19 year-old Fantasia beat 16 year-old Diana DeGarmo by 1.3 million votes. She wins a 1 million dollar recording contract, 2005 Ford Focus and a shot at stardom.

+May 27, 2004 - Fantasia Interviewed. Fantasia appears for the 1st time on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" show #2720 (Fantasia does the Bobo with Kate Hudson)

+May 28, 2004 - Fantasia and Diana DeGarmo appeared together in an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live". They told Larry King that they think of each other as sisters after surviving the nationally televised talent competition together.

+June 1, 2004 - Fantasia was interviewed and performed "I Believe" on ABC-TV's "Live With Regis & Kelly". Jeff Probst was guest host with Kelly Ripa

+June 1, 2004 - Fantasia appeared on "Extra" TV as their crew tagged along on her whirlwind tour of the Big Apple as America's newest Idol made the rounds to television network interviews.

+June 1, 2004 - Fantasia appeared on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" with the American Idol Season 3 Top 12. Interview and Performance

+June 3, 2004 - Fantasia performed "I Believe" on ABC-TV's "The View" episode 887. Dennis Rodman was also a guest.

+June 7, 2004 - Fantasia performed at the Council of Fashion Designers of America 2004 CFDA Fashion Awards held at The New York Public Library at Bryant Park in Midtown New York City. To kick-off the Awards program, American Idol Fantasia Barrino sang "New York State of Mind." This year's Awards saluted America's fashion capital, New York City. +June 21, 2004 - Fantasia performs her first single, "I Believe." LIVE on NBC-TV's Today Show Summer Concert Series and talks with "Today" host Matt Lauer about her recent fame. She also performs "Summertime"

+June 23, 2004 - Fantasia performs her first single, "I Believe" as musical guest on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (her 2nd Appearance) Show #2734 repeated on July 1, 2004 (guest Ben Stiller). Fantasia wears her hair in a different style with a blond highlight

+June 29, 2004 - Fantasia and "American Idol Season 2" winner Ruben Studdard attend the 4th Annual BET Awards held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles Ca. Together they presented Jay-Z with the award for "Best Male hip-Hop Artist". The event was hosted by actress Mo'Nique. Ruben Studdard was nominated for Best Male R&B artist.

+July 1, 2004 - With her summer single, "I Believe," Fantasia became the first artist to debut at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart with her first solo single.

+July 4, 2004 - Fantasia performed "I Believe" & "God Bless America" in New York for the Macys's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. Broadcast *LIVE* on NBC-TV Nerwork.

+September 20, 2004 - Fantasia makes her first appearance as the spokesmodel for the American Rag clothing line at Macys's Lenox Mall in Atlanta, Georgia and wows the crowd.

+October 5, 2004 - Fantasia performed in concert with the American Idols Live Tour in Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. This was the final stop of the American Idols Live Tour and the first American Idol Concert outside of the US and Canada.
