The Doone Highwaymen are about to attack the Countess of Lorne and her daughter Lorna

The carriage is seen racing down the coast road as the Countess leans out the Carriage window.

The cut-throats are fast approaching. You can see by the lead horses that they are nearly running into the vehicle used to film this tracking shot as the scene is actually filmed on the dirt road.

All of this was filmed with the horses galloping just behind the man with the camera whose cranking the movie camera.

Of course the woman are afraid.

The bandits force the carriage into the sea.

Lorna is the last to be dragged away from the carriage.
