Now I said all that to say all of this,thattheGodhead can only be understood by those that God has given the devine revelation, and it can come only through Jesus Christ, Let us look at some scriptures. (KJV) Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call his name Im-man'-u-el. If we would look at this given prophecy, we can see here that a name, and I say again a name meaning one, was given. (KJV) Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the govenment shall be upon his shoulder: and his name (one) shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Here we see that it was again prophecied of the child, who we know and understand to be Jesus Christ. Note some would say today, that they know all of this because they read and study their Bibles too, thats good, but to read and study is one thing, but to have or have obtained the devine revelation, is another. So stop and ask yourselves this question, Have I received from God his devine revelation? Look whats recorded in the book of Matthew. (KJV) Matt. 1:21-22 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Here we can see that the (Name) given as prophecy tells, is Jesus. This name in the old testament was Emmanuel, then we have it interpreted in the New Testament, meaning God with us. (HOW CAN SOME BE SO BLIND)? Answer, its also in the scriptures. (KJV) 2nd Corinthians 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. ANSWER AGAIN, THE GOD OF THS WORLD (THE DEVIL) HAS BLINDED THE MINDS OF THEM, SO THEY CAN'T BELIEVE AND BE SAVED. Oh! I'm still talking about the Godhead, every point made leads us to the question asked. Some would say that there are three distinct person in the Godhead. My friend the Holy word of God does not support such a statement. That is why we are attempting to guide you through the word of God. Now lets go to another witness of the Lords', that is St. John. (KJV) St. John 1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Look carefully at what this witness said, about the Godhead. He stated as a fact that, He (Jesus) was the word and the word was God. Read it for yourselves. Also He (Jesus) was in the world and that the world was made by Him. Now who do you think is right, what one might think? or what a credible, and chosen witness of God would say as to who is the Godhead? If you are still with me, lets go to other scriptures that defines the oneness of the Godhead. (KJV) Colossians 2:8-10 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. IN WHOM IS THE FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD? I think I am reading this like you are, and I see no other conclusion drawn. Please, my friend, don't be taken by those philosophers, that can only offer you words of vanity. There main goal is to deceive, and to destroy you. And that my friend will happen if you don't except the truth. For a truth my friend, the Godhead is in Jesus Christ, and in Him in it;s fullness. Please stay with me just a little longer, we will soon be finished. Go with me to (KJV) Ephesians 1:17-23 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Just a few more witnesses and I will conclude. Take a look at what apostle John said in (KJV) 1st John 5:19-21 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Note that not only is Jesus the Son, he is Father, Savior, and (TRUE GOD) and Eternal Life. Now how can you miss this Devine revelation from God? The last admonition, was "little children keep yourselves from idols", All others worshiped other than Jesus Christ are (IDOLS). NEED I SAY MORE? The controversy surrounding this subject is of man and not of God. "And without contoversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory". As I said before, that there is no controversy as to who the Godhead is. THE QUESTION POSED, "IS JESUS IN THE GODHEAD OR IS THE GODHEAD IN JESUS"? By now you should know this answer, and it should be no doubt because of these supporting passages of scriptures, that we have shown you the facts and not man's philosophy. This my friend, is how God reveals His truth, to those who seek after truth and nothing else. "And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom" NOTICE that the writer in Hebrews made it clear as to who sits on the throne, and who the one is that is sitting on it. THERE IS BUT ONE GOD, AND HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST. THEREFORE IF YOU HAVE NOT OBEYED THE GOSPEL, ACCORDING TO OUR LORD, RECOGNIZING HIS NAME IN REPENTANCE AND WATER BAPTISM YOU WILL NOT BE SAVED UNTIL YOU DO SO!! By Bro.
