REPENT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

To the left we have the minster and publisher of this page. This is Bro. Green, a member of OWTHCAF = ONE WAY TO HOLINESS CHRCH OF THE APOSTLES FAITH . The subject that I have chosen above is one of the most greatest importance. As I endeavor to preach and teach, that one must repent of their sins and be baptised in water in the (Name ) of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the HOLY GHOST. I myself repented of my sins, and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and receved the gift of the Holy Ghost. (KJV) Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Ju-dae'-a, and in Sa-ma'-ri-a, and in the uttermost part of the earth". As a witness of God, I can only witness the truth. One can be a witness also if he or she believe. (KJV) Mark 16: 15-16 And said unto them, "Go ye into all world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned". That is no lie my friend, because God's word is true. God can't and will no lie.   Please join him in studying the word of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let me start by saying, there are many (Religions) in the world. There is only one (Salvation).
The difference between Religion and salvation, is religion requires no one to repent, but salvation does. We will see in God's word that to receive salvation (Not Religion) one must repent. Yes my dear internet surffer you and all that will come to know God must repent, and do it before it is too late.

In this page you will see that I have done the studying for you, although one should study for his or herself, as instructed of Paul the Apostle of God in 1 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workmen that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth".
Therefore I am more than willing to show you, that in God's word He requires and commands all to come to repentance. Lets go to the (Word).

Note all scriptures listed in reference to repent are taken from (KJV) of the Bible.

1. Mat 3:2   And saying, "Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand".

Note: To receive the Kingdom of heaven at hand you must repent.
                                Why?
2. Mat 4:17   From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand".
                       Jusus preached it.
Do you, or will you believe what Jesus preached? I have heard from some in the past that they would rather do what Jesus said. Well, here is your chance.

3. Mark 1:15 And saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel".
                  His disciples preached it.
4. Mark 6:12   And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
                        Jesus said this.
5. Luke 13:3   I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

6. Luke 13:5   I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

I told you to Repent before its too late. Look at this situation below.
Trying to get help too late.

7. Luke 16:30   And he said, "Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent".

If you don't hear the Lord Jesus and his Apostles
It will be too late.

8. Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

9. Luke 17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him .

Jesus also preached, in order to be forgiven, one must be willing to forgive also.
                    THIS IS MY FAVORITE
The command for repentance, to receive salvation the remission (taking away of) sins and the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Don't froget you got to speak in   tongues.             ACTS 2:38

10. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

To be converted, thats another derivative of repentance. And some say I been converted. Not with repenting.

11. Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Note: one can only be converted by repentance,
and sins blotted out (remission) and refreshed, the baptism of the (Holy Ghost) Praise God!

12. Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

The only way God deals with man's wicknedness, and thoughts of his heart is through
repentance. It is very important for man to repent. Truely submit his ways to the Lord, that our Lord will direct he or she to Himself.

13. Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Ignorance is not an excuse for mankind God is not winking at now, But commanding repentance.

14. Acts 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

When one repent he or she will come to God with the attitude, they want to do the will of God, therefore works that are excepted with God will come with them. Even after one has recieved salvation, God requires repentance. This keep us in good standing with Him (God).

15. 2Cor 7:8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.

Look at the works of repentance (sorry) feeling sympathy or regret. Don't get angry when you are told what to do to recieve salvation, just repent.

16. 2Cor 7:8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.

17. Heb 7:21 For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

18. Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

19. Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

20. Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

21. Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22. Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

23. Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

24. Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

This concludes the search in the new testament (KJV) on repent. There 24 uses of this word, the Lord Jesus used it and His Apostles did also. Therefore as ministers of the Lord we are not ashamed use it too. It is the requirement for all as I said early to recieve salvation from the only wise God and Our saviour.

Provided below the word reptance, we will be dealing with this aspect of the word repent in our nest study. You can in advance go to the verses provided to join me later in study.

1. Mat 3:8

2. Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Note: In this passage of scripture above, the man of God (John) who was
prepareing the way of the Lord. He preached in the wilderness of Ju-dea'-a , saying that the kindom of Heaven is at hand. This is the only message ever preached by any of the men of God. After this followed baptizing. " I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance; but he that cometh after me is mightier that I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear; He shall baptize yo with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:" Repent / Repentance. These are a must.

  3. Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Note: To whom is the command repent given?
It is given to (Sinners) all that ever graced the whomb. Yes all have sined and come short of the Glory of God. That is why all have to repent. Therefore the righteous are not called to repent, but to be righteous one has to repent. ACTS 2:38

4. Mark 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Note: In the mouth if two or three withnesses every word is

5. Mark 2:17 "When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

9. Luke 15:7 "I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."

10. Luke 24:47 "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."

11. Acts 5:31 "Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins."

12. Acts 11:18 "When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life."
