My dear reader, I posed this question, not
because the answer is unknown to myself, but because there is a need for believers to be aware of the fact, that every one that calls on the Name of Jesus are not all his. Jesus said this "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matt 7 21-23 (KJV)

No one can say that Jesus is Lord saving by the Holy Ghost. To be able to declare his Name, you must have His spirit. This is the difference in those that believe and declare openly his NAME to the world, and they that Oppose and believe not.
Opposition has always been a part of religion. Yes I said (RELIGION) Most that confess some hope have a religion and is based on opposing that Great and Wonderful Name of Jesus. Although the religious will say "I love Jesus" If you would look close enough you will see that ugly head called (OPPOSITION). The true picture will unfold, Beautiful it may seem, its yet Opposition to the Name of Jesus.

Angels declared His name.
Prophets spake of, and prophecies came to declare His name.
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." Matt 1:21-23 (KJV)

Note: The true men of God, were Holy. This also establishes the fact that to even speak the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in truth, one will have to be Holy. Opposition will also cause denial, and refuse to recognize His (Jesus) name.
(KJV) 2nd Thess. 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Look at 2nd Peter 2:1-2 (KJV) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
Because of the presence of false prophets, there was destruction. To oppose the Name will only result in one not knowing or ever having the true plan which God intended for mankind.

If we visited the book Acts 4th,5th and 6th chapters, one can easily see the result of opposition to the Name. Men became as mad men, even mad as dogs. The Holy men of God were commanded not to speak nor to teach in the name of Jesus.
They were threatened, and even on some occasions beaten for the Name of Jesus. Our beloved Bro. Stephen was nashed with the teeth of those who opposed the name of Jesus. ( WHY IS HIS NAME OPPOSED ? ) The answer is clear as to this question
when one continues to read the book of Acts in its entirety. Look____Acts 7: 51-54 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

As I stated before, the Name of Jesus will always be opposed, and denounced by all that do not love and obey His Holy command to repent. (Acts 2:38) KJV. There is no excuse for man today,
he or she have heard the truth. At this stage man can only answer to God for his or her opposition to the Gospel. In Acts 4:12 it planly states that salvation comes in no other Name. " Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved ". From this statement of truth, opposition caused rejection of the Name by those who were in authority to command and threaten the Apostles.
"DON'T SPEAK OR TEACH IN THE NAME OF JESUS". (KJV) Acts 4:18-20 "And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard ". The Apostles replied.

But they were charged and threatened time after time, yet the steadfastness of the men of God was impeccable, as should be those who stand on and believe in the name of Jesus today. Yes threats came and will come today by those who oppose that wonderful and saving name of Jesus. Acts 4:21 Please read if for yourself.

Note: After one would read and study the book of Acts, THIS IS THE TRUE WORK OF THE APOSTLES, one would only conclude, that every one that believes and declares the name of Jesus will also suffer the opposition from those who don't and will reverence the ALMIGHTY'S NAME (JESUS).
Again I say to all that oppose and will oppose the name of Jesus, you wll never know nor recieve the redemptive plan for mankind, therefore you can only look forward to this.

2nd Thess. 4-12 " Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness".

CONCLUSION
Any opposer of the Name of Jesus will also be a Liar. 1st John 2:22-23 " Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also . "

Revelation 21:8 " But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. "

WHAT A TERRIBLE MISTAKE FOR MAN TO DENY THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, AND THEN CLOSE HIS EYES, THEREFORE WAKING UP IN A PLACE THAT WAS NOT INTENDED FOR HIM. YET HE CHOSE FOR HIMSELF TO REJECT AND TO OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL OF OUR AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO CHOOSE.
