~ Georgie ~ Our Ferret

Our sweet little Georgish was layed to rest on Sept. 14 '02, due to complications of old age and a tumor. He is very sadly missed my my 12 yr old son and I. We had George for almost 6 years, a definite fixture in our lives. I never thought I would love a little rodent like I did! We had a small funeral here, he is restng beside my old barrel mare Luv. We placed a cherry Jolly Rancher on top of George's wicker basket and blankie, and my son had tears streaming down his face as he slowly closed the grave. Oh gosh, I'm tearing up writing this! Gotta go!
