Remembering Keedie By Her Meowmie Kitty Keedie was a very sweet, mellow. laid back cat who never complained about anything. She always had a purr and a loving expression. She never growled or hissed. When I picked her up, she would rub noses with me, actually head bonk and rub against my nose with hers. She was talkative and often answered me when I spoke to her. She had kittens twice. I kept her daughter, Misty, and her son, SnowPuff, and found homes for the rest, then had Keedie spayed. She lived a long, full life with me. The first day she came here, she followed me home on the street, meowing to me and acting friendly. Every morning she would jump in my front window to greet me and ask to be fed. She was always asking to be let inside. One day, I granted her wish. I saw her being gang raped by about 10 toms and decided I couldn't let that go on. She was too nice and deserved better. I took her inside and made her my forever kitty. I never regretted it. The day she went to the bridge, she looked up and stretched her paw out to me as if to say goodbye. I buried her in the back yard where there are two huge rocks that mark her grave. She rests forever in the yard of the home she loved and chose to live in. And her spirit soars now at rainbow bridge with SnowPuff, who went a year before her. Keedie will never be forgotten. She had an active internet life and earned many degrees and awards for her service with CLAW and Fur and Fang. She went to many parties. Her internet home with her wedwink, LuvKittys Nicolas Cage, remains as a memorial to the fun she shared with all of us, as does her wedwink to him. I love you, Keedie, and I miss you still. I was so sorry to hear that Keedie had crossed to Rainbow Bridge, and my purrs go to her family who are missing her so much. I admired Keedie a lot. She'd been a mama cat, and she was gentle and wise. In the days of the Old CLAW when I furst knew her, she was loyal and full of faith that what we had would rise again. Keedie had beauty and style, a long, active and full life, a lot like my precious sisfur. I know they will be good furriends at Rainbow Bridge. Be happy and peaceful and furefur young, Keedie, until we meet again.
