Chenille Neck Warmer

I make this neck warmer with the Lion Brand "Thick and Quick" Chenille
Using a gray plastic "P" hook (I specify because I also have a white plastic "P" 16 hook that is about twice the size of this other "P" hook.)
1 skein of "Thick and Quick" Chenille (you won't need the whole skein.)

KEY: ch = chain stitch; slp st = slip stitch; sc = single crochet; BLO = back loop only.

Ch 71 loosely

Row 1: (right side) Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in next 13 ch, slp st in next 6 ch, sc in next 30 ch, slp st in next 6 ch, sc in last 14 ch. (70 stitches).

Row 2: Ch 1, turn; working in BLO, sc in same st and in next 13 sc, slp st in next 6 slp st, sc in BLO of next 30 sc, slp st in next 6 slp st, sc in last 14 sc.

Row 3: Repeat row 2.

Row 4: Repeat row 2.

Row 5: Ch 1, turn; working in BLO, sc in same st and in next 13 sc, ch 6, skip next 6 slp st, sc in BLO of next 30 sc, slp st in next 6 slp st, sc in last 14 sc.

Row 6: Ch 1, turn; working in BLO sc in same st and in next 13 sc, slp st in next 6 slp st, sc in next 30 sc, slp st in next 6 ch, sc in last 14 sc.

Row 7: Repeat row 2.

Row 8: Repeat row 2.

Row 9: Repeat row 2.

Row 10: Repeat row 2; Finish off.
