Ernest S. D. Beaufoix, 198? - 2002
Despite a troubled youth (and thus emotionally a tad behind), Ernest nevertheless won countless friends, and immediately became the center of attention wherever he chose to recline.
Found running loose during an icy winter storm, abused and bone thin, Ernie was an SPCA rescue. A totally incorrigible "bad boy," he artfully combined basset stubborn with blind devotion. Refusing to depart on a holiday, he insisted upon staying with us, completely at peace, yet forever our Ernie, until mid-morning, December 26th. uh-Woo!
