Nettie's parents were Enoch Smith and Jane Walton. Enoch was born 08/13/1835 in England. Jane was born 01/18/1840 in England. They were married 11/29/1857 in England. Their parents were listed as also being born in England. Enoch and Jane had the following children:

Neva was my grandmother. She married Willis Trull and gave birth to all of those children listed on the Trull Family page. After becoming a widow in 1956, Grandma married Del Rose. They shared a happy life together until Grandma was once again widowed.
I never got to know her very well because we lived so far apart. I do remember her as a jolly, kind hearted lady with strong Christian values. One of my very best keepsakes is a letter she wrote to my dad, thanking him for the flowers he sent to her on Mother's Day, and telling him how mch she loved him. Oh, Grandma, what stories and knowledge I could have learned from you had I not been a typical, self-absorbed teenager. I love you...........
