Aquaman  (1984) TV movie

Directed by: Thomas Farr, Jeff Klein
Arthur Curry is a millionaire Marine Biologist who has founded the Curry Institute. He is actually Aquaman in disguise, trying to keep tabs on human activity and prevent land dwellers from destroying the ocean. Our story gets a plot when the evil Angler introduces a toxin to the ocean in order to blackmail the Pacific Coast into giving him 24 million dollars. While courageous Katy King (Arthur's love interest) works on finding an anti-toxin, Aquaman uses his underwater resources to find the secret hideout of the Angler. But the Angler is one step ahead of him, and kidnaps Katy (who's just discovered the anti-toxin, of course) while preparing for Arthur's attack. When he does attack, Aquaman easily defeats the stupid henchmen, but the Angler has set a trap for him...

ENTOURAGE ( 2004-Present )

An Aquaman movie played a central role in the second season and part of the third season of the HBO show Entourage. The show has movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) cast as Aquaman in a fictitious James Cameron blockbuster film.

SMALLVILLE ( 2005-Present )

In the Smallville episode "Aqua" Arthur Curry (Alan Ritchson), the future Aquaman, hooks up with Clark Kent (Tom Welling), the future Superman to foil Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). Later in the series Arthur becomes a member of the Smallville version of the Justice League.

Mercy Reef (2006)

Mercy Reef was a pilot for a television show based on the DC Comics character Aquaman, that was under development by Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar for The CW Television Network, it was expected to debut in the fall of 2006. Justin Hartley was to star as Arthur "A.C." Curry, who is Aquaman. Other show stars include Ving Rhames and Lou Diamond Phillips.
The series would have followed the adventures of A.C., the twentysomething owner of a dive shop who's actually the lost King of Atlantis. The series would have been like Smallville, but not a spin-off of the season 5 episode "Aqua"¯ in which Alan Ritchson played the role of A.C. The role was given to Will Toale, but then Toale was replaced with Hartley.
At the press junket for Superman Returns, DC Comics President Paul Levitz commented on the fate of the Aquaman TV series: "Yeah, we did a TV pilot, but it didn't get picked up. I think a lot of it was that it was started for the WB, and in the combination of the WB and UPN this year a number of slots got dropped radically, so I think it got hard to get anything on that year." Justin Hartley has gone on to become the "Green Arrow" on the series Smallville.
