THE CATS
Jessie is 17 years old, she's gray and white, DSH, and FAT. She was found roadside at 5-6 weeks old. She's taken to wanting to sleep on top of me recently, ugh!
1/2/03 It will be interesting to see how Jessie behaves now with Shadow gone; she has always been the undercat. I've heard so often how a cat will "blossom" after the boss cat goes. Unfortunately though, her kidneys aren't the best anymore either....
1/23-03 I WILL get another cat at some point, but probably not until Jessie's gone too. I'll let her be an only cat for once; I think she'll love that. She's already coming out and being with us more; and letting Mocha bug her too, which makes Mocha VERY happy. :-) I already know I'll get the next one from the Calvert Animal Welfare League, of which I am an active volunteer.
10/30/03 I had to euthanize my Jessie today, at 17 1/2 yrs old, her kidneys were shot, and her brain was shutting down... geez, 2 of my babies in a years time...
---------------------------------------------------------------
Shadow is/was a 17 year 3 month old blue/cream domestic short hair (DSH). We actually went out and picked her out of a litter. She vomits a lot!
1/2/03 Well, my Shadow won't be vomiting anymore :-( I had to euthanize her yesterday, her kidneys had finally given out on her. I miss her terribly.....
OF COURSE ALL OF MY ANIMALS
HAVE BEEN SPAYED
