TO DEED
JOHN J. JACK

This indenture made the 26th day of July 1847 between Jacob Westfall of the County of Lewis and State of Virginia of the one part and John J. Jack of the County of Lewis and State of Virginia of the other part. Witness that the said Jacob Westfall for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars lawful money of Virginia, to him in hand paid, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and quit claImed and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and quit of claim confirm unto the said John J. Jack, his heir and assigns forever all a certain tract of land with its apprentenances lying and being in the county of Lewis in the Buckeye fork of Little Skin Creek and bounded as follows, chestnut oak on top of the ridge between the for of Stone and the Buckeye fork of Skin Creek and then on down said hill to the bench of said hill of the Buckeye fork of Skin Creek to the line in a of said tract @ Westfall line thence to the left with said Westfall line to the beginning.
To have and to hold the above tract of land with its apprentenances to the said John J. Jack his heir and assigns forever to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said John J. Jack his heir and assigns forever and the said Jacob Westfall for himself doth hereby quit claim to and with the said John J. Jack his heir and assigns forever that he will quit claim the above described tract and parcel of land to the said John J. Jack his heir and assigns forever against all persons and claims whatsoever claiming by, through, and under hm the said Jacob Westfall and so further.
In testimony where of the aforesaid Jacob Westfall hath hrewith se his hand and seal the day and year above.
