Almashys now and then! These are some pictures I've saved from the past few years of my family and then there are some older photos of some of my grandparents and great grandparents,uncles and cousins who came here from Hungary back in the late 1890's. Enjoy!

Linda Feb.,2000 she had won employee of the year for the medical facility she works for. Linda's an RN nurse with 28 years experience.

Count Miklos Almasy de Zsadany

Linda, Miklos, and Dan We met Miklos thru internet e-mail. We went to Richmond, Va. while he was visiting for his company in Belgium. His ancestry has many noble families in it and from the movie English Patient, you met one of his great uncles Lazslo Almasy. As far as I can tell we are not in his family tree but who knows where ours started. I don't past 1757.

Andrew Almashy ! 1859-1929

Andrew came from Abara,Zemplen Megye,Hungary in 1884.

Elizabeth Andrews Almashy ! 1861-1952

Elizabeth came from Hungary in 1886. She had two brothers who also came over but I'm not certain of the year they came. One was a good family friend that I had heard his name mentioned many times over the years, Andy Andrews. The name in Hungary was spelled Andre'.
