An Important Message . . . August 25, 2009 Dear 1959 Classmates & Friends: The next meeting of our REUNION organizing committee will be September 12, at 1:00 p.m., at 8729 South State Street, Chicago (ground floor). Although there is progress being made, there is, still, much to be done and we need your help. We have finalized the date and place. We will have a dinner/ dance at the Oaklawn Hilton Hotel, 94th and Cicero, on Saturday, October 17, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. We hope you can plan to be in attendance, at the event, and, if possible, at the next meeting, as well. However, in the event that you are unable to meet with us, you may call and we will send you a REUNION mailing. Also, you may order your event ticket (s) by sending a check or money order for $50.00 per person, to Joe Ziegler, 1920 West 87th Street, Chicago, IL 60620. Checks should be made payable to "DUNBAR 50th REUNION, CLASS of 1959 COMMITTEE." Those wishing to make overnight accommodations, may do so by calling the hotel at 1-800-HILTONS or by email: www.hilton.com. The hotel must receive reservations for the special rate of $119.00 per room, per night, by September 25, 2009. Also, in order to present a gift to the school, we are selling ads to be published in a souvenir program booklet. We are urging EVERYONE to assist in this project.
