Hugh Downs:
What is pro wrestling really all about? Well, John Stossel has gotten a rare, inside look at a business that is filled with flamboyant personalities.

Stossel (in a voice over):
I've interviewed lots of celebrities, but no one ever attracted a crowd like this. Of course, the other celebrities weren't wearing a red sleeveless t-shirt in the winter.

Stossel:
The Hulk is the World Wrestling Fedeation Champion. Of course there happens to be other Federation's and other World Champions. But The Hulk's group is the biggest, So The Hulk's the biggest star. His real name, by the way, is Terry Jean Bolea.

Stossel:

"You know, this stuff kind of makes me mad. Because this isn't really wrestling.
It's Rasslin'.
I was a high school wrestler.
That's Wrestling!"
Stossel:

Stossel:
Is this a real sport?
Are they really wrestling?
Are they really trying to win?
I wonder what the fans think?
"I think it's all fake, ya know.
It's a form of entertainment".
"Well, it's fun but it's fake. Like...they don't hit 'em in the head and everything and make 'em bleed".
"No.
I don't think it's fixed. No baby. They hit it too hard on the ground for it to be fixed".
