| Vince: The former World Wrestling Federation champion...Would you welcome please, the one and only Nature Boy Buddy Rogers.
(applause)
|

| Vince: Hello Buddy, how are ya'? It's good to see you. You know the Lord Alfred Hayes.
Alfred: You look remarkable. You look so good...
Vince: ...as you have always thoughout your wrestling career. |
 | Buddy: Well, I hope.
Vince: Oh, you have indeed...thrilled so many many hundreds of thousands...
Buddy: I'll tell you one thing I'm thrilled being here. I'm very happy that you brought me aboard so to speak and I hope I can do it justice.
Vince: You've always done wrestling justice. You've carried the banner as champion of the World Wrestling Federation like no other competitor. It was amazing, uh, your tenure as World Wrestling Federation champion. The charisma that you brought to the championship belt like no other. Amazing. Have you ever seen anything like it, Lord?
|

| Alfred: Ah, a most unique personality and I took the liberty of jotting one or two little things here. Sometimes I do that.
(Alfred reads from his notes) Do you know that Buddy Rogers held more um, zone championships than any other professional wrestler? Just read it up. Pacific coast champion, east coast champion, Texas state champion, Rocky mt., southern states, canadian heavyweight champion. He also held the U.S. heavyweight championship for 11 years and in the very beginning he was the only wrestler ever to hold the WWF and the NW...what is that?
Buddy: The NWA.
Alfred: Yes NWA titles at the same time.

| Vince: Buddy, no one can ever equal your career.
You talk about breaking records and things of that nature and they're breaking records in baseball now and...and records will be broken but I don't think your record as a professorial wrestler and as an athlete and as a champion will ever be broken.
Buddy: Well...
Vince: I think it's almost an impossibility.
Buddy: I think being dedicated and really loving what you do...you gotta' love what you do and that goes for anything you do...any of the younger fella's listening in today as far as wrestling. If you're not dedicated you're not gonna' make it.
Vince: No one has ever been any more dedicated than you and you carry that dedication in all walks of life. Not just in the ring but outside of that ring Buddy Rogers is there carrying that banner still to this day.
Buddy: Well, I hope I can carry what little's left.
Vince: There seems to be an awful lot left. Your career spanning, uh, not just as a great champion...from there of course many other facets of professional wrestling. We saw you of course not that long ago as a manager of Superfly Snuka. Now you took Mr. Snuka all the way to the top and I'm sure you have your eye's on some of the other outstanding athletes coming up.
|

| Buddy: Well, very surprisingly I've been asked many many times by thousands of people, believe me, where can I become a professional wrestler? Well, I took it upon myself to open up a professional wrestling school and I do believe that I can get the job done. If I can get half the talent out of what I know and what I'm capable of doing I know I'll be able to rear a few champions.
Vince: Speaking of rearing a few champions, if you don't mind, I know out in the audience is a gentleman who is very close and dear to your heart his last name is also Rogers...David. Your son?
Buddy: Right
Vince: You mind if we bring him on and introduce him?
Buddy: Alright, I'd love to.
