Just for the record I would like to say that this school was actually located in Shinbrier on Shinbrier Hill Road. Shinbrier Hill also known as Shinbrier Mountain.

COOPERS SCHOOL NOTES

Roy Jones, son of Shirley Tabor, writes that his mother is alive and kickng in the state of Florida. If anyone would like to send her a message let me know and I will forward it to Roy. I wonder if any of her classmates in the photo are still living. If you know of any please let me know. Teacher, Bernice Brown, passed away only a few years ago at about the age of one hundred. I am told her mind was sharp until the end. In the photo below Shirley is in the center, her chin hidden from view by another girl standing in front of her.
