This kid had just gotten to the CO. I remember we were cleaning our weapons on the pontoon cause we were going back out the next day. He came over and sat next to me. He didn`t say too much. He just sat there next to me. He was KIA the next day. This has bugged for over 30 years not knowing what his name was. Now I know.

From Henry Rolen

I REMEMBER ISSUEING HIS WEBGEAR TO HIM. THEN WE WENT OUT ON A NIGHT MISSION. HE GOT KILLED ON HIS FIRST MISSSION HE EVER WENT ON. I DIDN`T REALLY KNOW HIM. I DIDN`T GET A CHANCE TOO. I HAD TO ID BY HIS DOG TAGS. HE HAD JUST CAME INTO THE UNIT THAT DAY.
