Arrived at Bien Hoa, RVN 10:30 P.M. Assigned to the 90th Replacement Co.

 

Jan 13, 1968

Assigned to Echo Co.

 

Jan 20, 1968

Moved aboard A.P.L. 26 along with Naval Task 117. Joseph S. Jenks is the company commander. LT Peter Wood duty to KIA.

 

Jan 23, 1968

1LT Phillip Page is the company commander.

 

Jan 25,1968

The company returned to A.P.L. 26 for a nights rest and take a stand down.

 

Feb 1, 1968

Dong Tam received 160 mortar rounds.

 

Feb 2, 1968

Cpt Wilbert Davis is the company commander. Phillip Page, James O`Conner, Jimmy Jones, Alan Dillinger, Nicholas Gientke and Alfred Griffith to Cas. Hosp.

 

Feb 5, 1968

Cpt Lloyd Brown is the company commander. The company has been out for 8 days. The resupply helicopter was shot down. A Lt was killed.

A memorial service was held for Lt Peter Wood.

One day operation.

The company went on a riverine operation. Sherwood Reynolds-duty to KIA. Al Meadows,, Doc Faverty and Tuttle WIA.

 

Feb 27, 1968

Sgt Fernando Quintero, Sherwood Reynolds, Roscoe Bryant, Joes Tavares, Doug Burdick, Rodney Roat and George Speck duty to KIA. Buenaventua Batobate, George Freadhoff, John Oions, John Sherlock, Donald Gaohrin, Melvin Los, Thomas Murphy and Marion Vincent to Cas Hosp. 46V.C. killed and large arms cache recovered.
