Cavy Lover & Future Princess

Many people do not know that 11-year-old Diana Spencer was the proud owner of "Peanuts," a beautiful part agouti Guinea Pig! As a child, Diana won an award for her cavy care and keeping Peanuts' cage tidy! Known for her compassion, the future Princess of Wales adored small animals and had small pets as an adult living in Kensington Palace! (Photo taken in 1972.)
