2nd GENERATION MARTIN JAEGER of Germany, born 6 Apr 1807 married 3 Feb 1835 Eltman, Bavaria, Germany to Miss Kungunda Rueter, born 20 Oct 1810, Miss Rueter's parents John and Elizabeth Hauck Rueter. 8 children, Brigetta, John, Sebastian, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Josepha, Konrad, and Martin.

3rd Generation

SEBASTIAN, born 16 Mar 1837, Eschenbach, Bavaria, Germany, (obituary says born Stedtfeld, Byren), emigrated from Ischenbach, Bavaria , Germany, on the ship Breman, from Breman, Germany , arrived in New York on 30 Sep 1864. Went to Mineral Point , Wisconsin, in 1866 married Kunigunda Then, born Jan 14 Aug 1840 Stettfeld, Germany, daughter of Johannes and Margaretha Weis Then, she came to America from Breman, Germany on the ship New York, with Sebastian's brother John, arriving New York 15 Mar 1866. In 1868 Sebastian and Kunigunda with their son John moved to a farm in North Fork Township, Delaware County, Iowa, about two miles west of Worthington, Iowa. They discontinued farming about 1888 and operated a lumberyard for years in Worthington. Sebastian married a 2nd time , Josephine Pullen Turnis 24 Sep 1903 at Worthington. Sebastian died 5 Oct 1920, Kunigunda died 2 Feb 1898, Josephine died 9 Nov 1922, all buried St Paul's Cemetery, Worthington, Iowa. Her parents were Michael and Margaret Nachtmann Tierschel. John died 30 Sep 1912, Catherine died 15 Nov 1923. Both buried St Pauls cemetery, Worthington, Iowa. Children of John and Catherine - John E Jr., born 17 Mar 1871, married Gertrude Kortenkamp 4 May 1879, daughter of Henry Kortenkanp and Josephine Schermer,died 30 Oct 1944, Gertrude died 30 Oct 1944. Children, Mary, Reinilda, Dorothy, Coletta, Martha, Justine, Anthony, Romanus, Alphonse, Gertrude and Cletus. Martin, born 1874. Joseph J., born 11 May 1875, married 28 May 1900,Ottilia Rubner,daughter of George Rubner and Lean Kline , died 19 Oct 1944. , Ottilla died 6 Jun 1956. Her parents were Bernard and Teresa Daer White. Martin died 16 Jan 1933, Frances died 13 May 1943. Both buried St Francis Xavier cemetery, Dyersville, Iowa.
