Empire Shar-Pei

Dogs have been a love of mine since childhood, learning handling and obedience in 4-H in Bellevue, NE, and growing up to become an all-breed dog groomer with salon and supplies boutique located in my home. I believe that God has chosen people as caretakers of his creation and most certainly his animals. Jesus sets an example for us on how to lead our lives and treat others and do my best to follow it. As a three-year breast cancer survior, I give God the Glory for the blessings of health, family, and friends in my life.

Empire Shar-Pei began in 1993 with our first shar-pei, Lucy (Ch. Heritage Exclusive Miss Lucy). She was exclusively owner-handled to her championship. Two puppies from her first litter, Ch. Empire's Aerosmith Elite (Tyler) and Ch. Empire Caddy's Little Girl (Megan) both "made the cut" in Futurity at the 1997 CSPCA Nationals and Megan went on to win Best 9-12 Brushcoat Puppy Bitch, Best Brushcoat Puppy Bitch, and Best Futurity Puppy.

Ch. Tulip Hill Empire Sir Whalen (Whalen) was our second Shar-Pei. He finished his title with several Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex wins.

Presently we have 5 Shar-Pei in our household, including 2 veterans, Topline Empire Perfect Storm (Gail) and Ch. Mtn Magic Empire Smoothfinish (Xander). Both are 10 1/2 years old. Ch. GCh. Empire's Smooth Moves (Jackie Chan) is 6 1/2 yrs. old. Lucky Wun Empire's Hollywood Starlet turns two on 09/09/11. Jade East It's Only A Paper Moon celebrates her first birthday on June 4, 2011.

Our fawn brushcoat girl, Topline Empire Perfect Storm (Gail), a full sister to 2003 Eukanuba Best of Breed Ch. Topline Bacchus and daughter of Ch. Shenanigans Storm Surge, ROM, two-time Westminster Best of Breed, was bred to our horsecoat "Toolman" son, Ch. Mtn Magic Empire Smoothfinish (Xander). Four puppies resulted on November 18, 2004. Their accomplishments are listed in the next few paragraphs.

All of our dogs are housedogs and members of the family. We will have a litter occasionally, but only one litter at a time so that we can devote our attention to their care and socializing. All puppies are housetrained, leash trained, and crate trained before going to their new homes. Adults dogs are OFA certified before they are used for breeding.

We are members in good standing of the Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America and the Star of the North Chinese Shar-Pei Club. We take pride in striving for good health and happy temperaments in our puppies and we welcome your inquiries. Our e-mail addy is EMPIREsharpei@webtv.net.
