O UNIVERSAL CAPTAIN
In less than a second,
of Prabhupada meditation,
this world's swallowed up,
to a fleeting sensation.
The real meaning of insignificance,
becomes most apparent near you,
every thing else is,
O Jagat Guru.
All has no meaning,
till you come into view,
just one picture,
or word you issue.
You are Krishna's one light,
to destroy Kali's night,
just simply your sight,
ends our sorry plight.
You are with out a doubt,
Krishna's greatest mercy here,
for as soon as you appear,
all illusions disappear.
Your appearance in your murti,
your appearance in your picture,
your appearance in your words,
they just manifest Shri Krishna.
Your words are Krishna's,
and so are your wishes,
and before you,all the vicious,
run into their ditches.
You make all sins flee,
O Pure Servant of Hari,
we never know what is free,
untill you,we hear or see.
I never saw a person shine,
into this heart of mine,
till I saw you in your picture,
on your most sacred seat divine.
Yet most powerful are your words,
to dispel our wicked desire,
to pretend that we are Krishna,
the lords of all we acquire.
Just a second of your presence,
blows all our senseless dreams away,
and how this is possible,
we just hope to say.
Dearest Shrila Prabhupada,
most dear to Krishna,God,
before you I'm just like a frog,
with his head buried neath a log.
How do I even dare croak?,
it is all a hopeless joke,
the only thing to do,is surrender to you,
and stay on your all sheltering boat.
And because your boat is spiritual,
it will never pass away,
it is an eternity beyond us,
yet in your books to stay.
You are the universal captain,
and the vedas are your ship.
it is you alone who knows their purport,
to make our trip a blissful dip.
You alone make an impossible journey,
to stepping over a calf's foot print,
with out you, of life's purpose,
we simply wouldn't have a hint.
Just a moment of your association,
is supreme liberation,
and yet to get your association,
takes an eternity of chasing.
How did we obtain your mercy?
like a turtle in a ocean,a endless blinding sea,
and you the only boat,our only last hope,
how can we repay you?,never ever can we.
You gave us eyes,you gave us ears,
you gave us all ecstatic tears,
O eternal guide most dear,
you alone make everything clear.
O Prabhupada I would simply be dead,
If I never got your vision,
to keep in side my head,
death is not knowing you,
that is what I said!!!!!!!
And you are available forever,
right through the words in your books,
giving all solutions,
my wonder you begged us to distribute them,
you said their bombs to destroy all illusion.
They are Krishna's light of knowledge,
for the next 10,000 years,
the home the whole world may live in,
beyond all tears and fears.
O when oh when shall we see,
that you are all we need,
you alone planted the pure bhakti seeds,
that is all this world needs.
You so perfectly paved the way,
through your life and all you did say,
and now the best thing we can do,
is point all to you,
so you begged sell my books,
more and more ,everyday.
O Shrila Prabhupada,O Universal Captain,
you said the more we hear about Krishna,
the more all our obstacles are cleared away,
so please just chant this Hare Krishna,
Maha mantra,everyone,through out your life,
this Anubhavananda dasa does pray...
