AFTER MANY BIRTHS AND DEATHS
After many births and deaths,
when we finally become wise,
we surrender unto Krishna,
the Lord of all our lives.
Wisdom doesn't come with age,
wisdom comes to one who obeys,
Krishna's purest servant,
the greatest sage,
who in Krishna's service,
is fully engaged.
Wisdom comes from Krishna's eternal song,
the Bhagavad-gita of Shrila Bhagavan,
the song Krishna sung to Arjuna,
Krishna's dearest friend,
to guide Krishna's lost souls,
home to Him,
to growing bliss,to never end.
When we finally decide,
to know Krishna in full truth,
Lord Krishna sends us,
a bonafide guru,
to perfectly guide us through,
everything we speak or do,
so we may always see and hear,
Krishna,the Lord of me and you.
It can take a moment,
or millions of years,
all rest on our desire,
to return to Krishna with tears.
Tears of surrender,
to completely please Him,
Who alone can deliver us,
from all our pain and sin.
It is only Krishna's Servants,
who can show us the way,
who themselves obey,
Govinda's Servants,
every moment of each day.
Krishna's sinless Pure Servants,
like Jesus and Prabhupada,
are the only ones to guide us,
back to Krishna,
our one unlimited God.
And so we must pray to Krishna's Servants,
to force open our tightly closed eyes,
from the ignorance that now blinds us,
to live for countless lies.
Our lives were not only meant,
to eat and mate and defend,
we were meant to see and love Shri Krishna,
all life's dearest friend.
But we're so fallen in this age,
we all have lost our ways,
so Krishna and His Servants are crying,
please chant Krishna's Holy Names.
All that we seek,
is in Krishna's Holy Names,
for Krishna and His Names,
are nondifrent and the same.
But we can never know,
unless we feel our selves most low,
and always chant Shri Krishna's Names,
to free us from our foe.
Our foe is the darkness,
to not see where we go,
our foe is the darkness,
to not see Krishna, Him in control.
Our foe is the darkness,
to not see who we are,
Krishna's eternal servants,
eternal divine sparks,
meant to only give pleasure to Krishna,
Who never parts,
residing in every atom,
and all living being's hearts,
and in Krishna's all effulgent abode,
beyond all the dark.
So please chant Hare Krishna,
and never stop,
Lord Krishna and His Servants do cry,
so you may enter the ocean of blissful nectar,
your eternal home in the spiritual sky.
