O Tulasi Devi,
simply by gazing at you,
all one's dreams come true,
and one is inspired,
by pure love for Krishna,
the supreme fulfilment,
of every soul's wishes,
and life's greatest mystery,
of which few have a clue,
a monsoon cloud colored Youth,
the Supreme Absolute Truth,
all enchanting,Shyamasundara,
most beautiful blackish blue.
O Tulasi Devi,
O Gaurdian of Vrindavana,
you are Vrindavana revealed to us here,
you are the perfect guide,
to make Vrindavana's pastimes clear,
and simply by your presense,all miseries disappear.
O Tulasi Devi,
Lord Goura must chant Krishna's Names near you as His duty,
O Tulasi Devi your form is a manifestation,
for Krishna's glorification,
of pure and absolute spiritual beauty.
By simply seeing,
touching or hearing of you,
all one's sins fly far away,
so in this lost and forlorn heart,
I simply pray for you to stay.
O Tulasi Devi,
you will only remain in a Vaishnava's home,
so I pray to you to make me a pure Servant of Krishna's Servants,
for living with you,
one knows only peace and never feels alone.
O Tulasi Devi,
your leaves and Manjaris,
make an offering acceptable on Krishna's plate,
to the land of ever growing bliss,
or Krishna consciousness,
it is you who opens the gate.
O Tulasi Devi,
only by Prabhupada's mercy are you here,
because I was praying to Prabhupada to please make me sincere,
and now by your sacred association most pure,
my faith is quickly becoming,
more and more secure,
for Krishna's Names I hear,
when I chant and keep you near,
all glorious Krishna consciousness becomes completely clear,
living with Shrimati Tulasi Devi,
Krishna's Servant imeasurabley dear.
O Tulasi Devi,
O perfect form of splendor,
seeing your leaves and manjaris outraised,
so delicate and so tender,
you make Shri Shyamasundara so easy to remember,
and I spontaniously am praying to you,
to your Govinda I surrender,
as a servant of your servants,
in your groves called Shri Vrindavana,
may I always chant Radha and Krishna's Holy Names,
with my heart ecstaticly throbbing,
HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA,
KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE,
HARE RAMA HARE RAMA,
RAMA RAMA HARE HARE,
Thus this Anubhavananda das prays,
again and again,
O Tulasi Devi,
please destroy my sahajiya mentality,
and reveal to me the eternal reality,
of the supreme seriousness of life's only goal,
my very life and soul,
Shrila Prabhupada and Shri Govinda,
and Shri Gokula,Krishna's Supreme Abode.....
