SHRILA PRABHUPADA'S DISAPPEARANCE DAY
Shrila Prabhupada Disappearance day PRABHUPADA written 11/06/02 by Prabhupada's mercy on me,anubhavananda das.
Praying at the Lotus Feet,
of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,
and all His bonafide followers,
like my initiating Spiritual Master,
AC. Bhaktivedanta Swami,
Shrila Prabhupada,
I Anubhavananda das,
am writing a poem,
to properly commemorate,
His Disappearance day.....
Today we are celebrating,
Shrila Prabhupada's disappearance day,
but without my feeling,
his most ecstatic presense,
enlightening me,
there is not one thing of value,
I could possibly say.
O Shrila Prabhupada,
what could be more discouraging,
than not feeling you here by our side?,
you said you never felt seperate,
from your Spiritual Master,
and the most essential reason why,
is you knew your Guru's orders,
were the very words,
of God or Krishna,
and in them you most strictly did abide.
And yet you wrote a poem,
on your Spiritual Masters,
Disappearance Day,
in the mood of the agony of seperation,
seeing how the Gaudia Matha,
had fallen apart,
and had lost their bonafide dedication.
But seperation on the spiritual platform,
you described as the most intimate connection,
like the Gopis seperation from Krishna,
is indeed life's highest perfection.
It is not logical to the material mind,
this eternal reality,
you came to reveal,
therefor Shrila Prabhupada,
I am begging at your safe Lotus Feet,
please hear my solemn appeal.
It is only because your mercy is here,
I am now writing this poem,
it would be most offensive,
I must make this point clear,
for me to say I believe I am writing alone.
You said nothing can act,
nothing can move,
without the desire of Krishna,
that is Krishna consciousness,
and that we must prove.
We must reveal Krishna to the world,
you begged by spreading,
Lord Krishna's Holy Names,
fulfilling the mission of Shri Chaitanya,
and Bhaktisidhanta,
has to be our one and only aim.
Lord Chaitanya ordered every man,
to become Guru,
by preaching all over the world,
the Supreme Absolute Truth.
This is our duty,
duty means it must be done,
or we're good as dead,
everyone,
for where there is life,
there is a preacher,
as where there's light,
there is the sun.
The greatest and brightest sun,
is all the words of our Founder,
Shrila Prabhupada,
and if we're in that sun,
by following his instructions,
we are revealing to the world,
that Krishna is our all worshipable,
Supreme God.
Indeed by Prabupada's desire,
this most fallen soul is writing his wish,
all of you,my desciples,
please cooperate together,
to spead eternal bliss,
this Krishna consciousness.
Prabhupada said his Spiritual master,
had sent us to Him,
to assist Him in spreading His Mission,
so this world would no longer look so dim,
in forgetfullness of Krishna.
Shrila Prabhupada said,
our vigorous preaching,
could stop the war from coming,
so distribute my books,
distribute my books,distribute my books,
was the mrdanga,
Prabhupada kept loudly drumming.
Prabhupada said if this Sankirtana stops,
you will hear no more ecstatic shouting,
Hari bol Hari bol,
we must know that these orders,
of Prabhupada,
are our very life and soul.
Prabhupada said his only credit,
was that he heard nicely his Guru's orders,
as the orders of God or Krishna,
so he had to carry them out,
go to the west and make them fully blessed,
did he not make us blessed,
now is there any doubt?.
We must believe we can,
become fully Krishna consciouse,
in this one life,
and save this whole land,
if we simply cooperate together,
to follow Prabhupada's command.
I am eternally present in my instructions,
so those who follow them,
will always feel they're with me,
please just always chant Hare Krishna,
and I am with you,you will see,
I am your ever well wisher AC Bhaktivedanta
Swami Shrila Prabhupada,
these words you must believe.
This faith is our progress rests on.
Thus this Anubhavananda das prays,
O my dear Lord Krishna,
please just make me,
Shrila Prabhupada's bonafide Servant,
so I may bring all human beings together,
to know Prabhupada's mercy,
fully feeling Krishna's Grace,
just filling the air with this,
ever increasing bliss,
Krishna consciousness,
by together spreading Krishna's Names.
