THE POWER OF PRAYER
The power of prayer,
we all must share,
for all the living everywhere,
for sufferings untold,
for countless souls,
we do not see,
we do not know.
The power of prayer,
we all must share,
for we're all connected,
and yet unaware.
We're unaware of our connection,
to one and another,
and to Krishna our Father,
and Radha our Mother.
We foolishly believe,
we can do as we wish,
we foolishly believe,
we shall cease to exist.
We foolishly believe,
something happens by chance,
we foolishly believe,
there are accidents.
But by the perfect plan,
of Krishna, our Father above,
everything takes place,
moved by Krishna's Love.
The power of Krishna,
holds the planets in space,
the power of Krishna,
fills every space.
The power of Krishna,
puts these words on this page,
and the power of Krishna,
controls all by wisdoms ways.
On the power of Krishna,
we are completely dependant,
the One unlimited Person,
Supreme and Transcendent,
and yet we believe,
we do something alone,
for by the power of Krishna's maya,
we are completely overthrown.
So the power of prayer,
we all must share,
for all living beings,
everywhere,
to truly understand,
what lies at hand,
the Desires of Krishna,
in full command.
The power of prayer,
empowered Prabhupada,
the prayer of his father,
to Shri Radha,
Ihe power of prayer,
brought Shri Krishna Chaitanya here,
though Advaita Acharya is Krishna,
He prayed for Krishna to appear.
So let us.not doubt,
the power of prayer,
and pray for Krishna consciousness,
for everyone everywhere.
May the power of Prabhupada,
be known to human kind,
his power of preaching,
to give real sight to us blind.
May the power of Prabhupada,
visit you right now,
so you may know,
Krishna's' greatest guide,
from our worlds of fear and doubt.
Thus this anubhavananda das prays,
O Prabhupada ,
please pray to Krishna,
Who always answers your pure prayers,
to make me your servant,
and speak only what you would say right now,
so we may know everything clearly,
and your disciples may cooperate together again,
to distribute your books,
as translated by you,
and see how that alone,
takes care of all lifes needs,
as you promised,
and as the Vedas proclaim,
one who satisfies the bonafide spiritual master,
has all his desires fullfilled.
