EMBASSY PLAYERS

Our mission is to produce country-specific plays at embassies in Washington. The plays can be classics, from centuries gone by, or brand-new creations by contemporary authors.

We welcome your suggestions.

Our Artistic Director is Alexander Fraser. He has directed plays at many local community theatres as well as in New York City. His directing credits include plays at the EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA, the BRITISH EMBASSY and the ROYAL NORWEGIAN EMBASSY.

In February of 2009, we shall perform HEDDA (abridged) for the Norwegians. All roles are open; please write to set up an audition. We always pay a stipend. Our motto: We can't pay you what you're worth but it's better than a wedgie.

Rehearsals will begin in January; they take place in Kensington, Md. a mile from Metro.
