In addition to singing, he plays 12 and 6 string guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, Native American flute, and percussion. Gary is also lead guitarist and shares lead vocals in 2x12. In September 2003 Gary teamed up with Vocalist Kim Swickard to for the duo 2x12 They released a self-titled EP in December 2003 and have their first full-length Album titled: "We'll Play That Bridge When We Come To It" in July 2004. Now with the additions of Veteran Bassist Sonny Waddell, and Ohio native Bob Oberg on drums, 2×12 has become a popular Blues/Rock act in the Central Ky area. In 2000 Gary Fights created Fightmasters Music originally as a forum for publishing his music but has since evolved into an outlet for recording, producing and publishing the music of other artists in the Central KY area. FmM offers services including: recording and reproduction, graphic design, distribution, and packaging. Fights also created and manages 2x12's official website, the original website for Backstage Cafe' KY, the website for the Heartland Songwriter's Association of KY, Gary Fights Art Site, the online comic strip Life As I See It, and is also the moderator of the KY_HMS (KY Heartland Music Scene) and 2x12 e-groups at Yahoo!
